Dracula! What's better than a vampire? Terrifying, but they can also be beautiful and seductive. Living a night life wouldn't be so bad... ^^

Zoooooombies. *urrrrr*
... seriously, I'm a little obsessed. :3 I collect zombie movies, read the Zombie Survival Guide and World War Z religiously, and doodle my own little zombie hunter comics in a leatherbound journal, writing as if I were an actual survivor of the zombie apocalypse chronicling her days-to-day life with the undead. This may actually make me money some day, as the people I share it with tell me its actually really good, and publish-worthy.
I am 100% prepared for a zombie attack... yes, I think it could really happen! How feasible is it that some mad scientist somewhere is creating a bioweapon that could produce the symptoms we relate to a "zombie disease". All it takes is an ultra-amphetamine... disregarding pain, exhaustion, fear, only relying on the basest animals instincts of attack, kill, eat, repeat? Brrr.
But I've got my retreat plan, survival skills (everyone should know basic survival and outdoorsman skills in case of a crisis, though) and I know how to use my handgun, rifle, and machete with fair accuracy.
My hand-to-hand could use some work, but... yeah, I'm a ZOMBIE HUNTING WARRIOR! (rawr) x3
I'm probably so obsessed because as long as I can remember, I watched the entire Romero series or Return of the Living Dead with my father every Halloween, and since we lived down the road from a cemetery, he would tell me that when I went Trick-or-Treating, the zombies would come and get me if I wasn't with an adult, since I had the bad habit of shaking my guardians and taking off on my own.
Of course it didn't work like he thought... I broke into the cemetery to look for said zombies when I got a little older, and gave a couple making out on a grave quite a battering with a plastic lightsaber from my Jedi costume when I caught them by surprise. :3

the monster from Jeepers Creepers (the first movie only, the monster was dumbed down in the second). you've got an inhuman monster that can pass as a human (at least at night) and has rather interesting methods of dealing with its human prey (altho it does do the mass killings when confronted, when it hunts on its own terms it has a style some horror movie monster lack).
the second movie changed the monster from an inhuman creature that killed humans to replace it's body parts and used creative methods to a voracious inhuman beast that basically just slaughters using little more than animal cunning.

lol I was at work. No big daddies are from the game bioshock and they protect these little girls.
They are pretty hard to fight and make creepy sounds, however I really do like them....its odd.
They are scary as hell but I still like them since they sacrifice themselves for the little sisters.

If they weren't entertaining, at least you had something to put you to sleep!

Ooh, I love Godzilla.
Mesic, will you protect me from zombies? D:
Naiyo, Oh. I've never played that game. Eep. I only have a Playstation 2.

The Creature from The Black Lagoon. I sympathize with that guy so much. All he wanted was some loving.

I guess if you consider vampires monsters then they would be my favorite but if you want specifics then maybe.... the original Dracula or the aliens in Signs. They are just spiffy to look at.

Me too on the loving of vampires! Not really surprising, huh? ^_^
I love Lestat de Lioncourt, if you consider Interview with the Vampire and Queen of the Damned as horror films - I'm not really sure where they're usually classified.
I'm not a huge fan of horror films, I prefer thrillers, but the horror films I do like are usually non-traditional, like Shaun of the Dead, so maybe the zombies from that film would be some of my favorites as well.

I'm not the only Sadako fan. YAY! Ringu is great. Sadako has to be my favorite horror movie character. Ringu so much better than the American version The Ring, no offence if you like that film but it's been changed that much from the original it just doesn't do it for me. So much of a better reason to come back and get revenge as well, "I shall kill you with my mind powers because you made my mother..." yeah I'm not going to finnish my impression because I don't want to spoil the film for anyone who wants to watch it.
