She totally is. X_X;
When we looked at the house she had this whole speech like "I don't like liars. Never lie to me, and I won't lie to you." And, I swear, she's lied about almost EVERYTHING! :headdesk:

I don't understand why people treat other people like that.

I once thought about getting a bird or mouse to put in a cage and entertain my beloved baby kitty Sophie. I don't spoil the two I have now so much that I think about it much though. My mother said it would be a cruel thing to do, but it would be in the cage where she couldn't get to it unless she developed thumbs! Of course, she was VERY smart, so I have no doubt she could have figured out a way around that handicap one day.

lol I moved to! I don't remember how much I said in flowerless about my dickhead neighbors but I ended up buying my own trailer (it was only 4 grand!) so it worked out way better then expected. Now I can do whatever I want on the inside!

As for the landlady bis-natch: How the fuck is she going to get the door open after you leave if she won't let you guys call a locksmith? you think she would be happy that you guys were willing to pay for it rather then throwing a fit that SHE should fix it, being that is her job as the property owner. I have noticed that the people who are the most concerned about lying are the most guilty of it. :illgetu:

Moonflower:: Wise words indeed. :)

Angel:: I've had two pet mice. One named Ziggy, I had for five years, he died of old age. Then I had one named Vera, she was coal black and so sweet, she got out of her cage once. She came back though. But I think she had some babies because we kept seeing black mice or mice with black spots running around (I won't let my parents use mousetraps unless they're no-kill) until we moved out of that house. Anyway, Sweet Pea broke into Vera's cage and killed her. But she didn't eat her. She left her body by my feet where I was sleeping. O_o;;
Anyway, what I'm saying is that if a cat's smart enough, she'll find a way to get to the mouse.
We do have a parrot though. No one messes with him. Then again, he's about as big as the cats are. :lol:

Birdie:: You told me about your suckass neighbors. I'm glad you got everything settled though. :hug:
How's the wedding planning going hon?

Yeah, well she's crazy anyway. Like the electric in this house is a total fire hazard and she basically just doesn't give a damn. I bet she'd start caring if the house caught on fire though. She'd find some way to blame it on us though, I'm sure. :stare:

Awwww. She wanted to give you a gift. Probably didn't get the whole 'it's also a pet' thing. Hope has caught two mice since she was adopted, one that I got away from her and threw out the door and the other she woke me up to show me she was so proud. She had drowned it in her water fountain. Not the thing I really wanted to see first thing in the morning, but the water wasn't bloody at least.

Sophie caught two mice when she was alive too, but she played with them long enough that I got both of them away from her before she killed them and tried to gift them to me. It would have been just my luck that she'd drop the bloody body on my chest while I was asleep.

*cackles of the image of cat versus parrot* Sophie was five pounds, tiny kitty. Hope is... seven? And I think Mystique is fifteen, but she's shy.

Birdie:: I'm not sure I'd want to live in an apartment...but then again, it seems easier to maintain than your own house...like you don't have to mow a lawn. :drool:
Yeah, you have time. :]
Just make sure you don't put it off too long, or you'll be freaking out last minute. :lol:

You should see some of the crap she has jerry-rigged around here. There's freaking dangling wires in one room. And there's a nest of bloody squirrels in the walls. We had a fiasco with them last fall and they're still here, because I keep hearing them in the ceiling of my room. Its creepy. ><
Anyway, we don't have the money to get like a home inspector or something out here, and even if we did, I know for a fact that he'd at least freak about the fire hazards (who wouldn't?) and then she'd just kick us out to take care of the problem, and we have no where to go. Until some other things get settled, we just have to suck it up, and hope nothing bad happens. :/

Angel:: Yeah, I know she was just being a cat. Sweet Pea is a great mouser. My mom got her from this farm, and she's from a whole family of barn cats, so I guess "super mouse killer" is programmed into her DNA. :lol: It does get a little frustrating though, because I love mice too. Its hard to have anything as a pet though, when you have four cats that are all thinking "ooh dinner". And when Peady goes after mice, she doesn't play like most cats do, she just wants to kill. Its a little scary. She rips their heads off and eats it. :gonk: She caught one once that was pretty small, and she just kind of...swallowed it whole. And she loves to leave "gifts". I've had dead mice in my floor, in my bed, on my pillows, in my clothes...she did get in trouble for that last one. -shudders- Ugh.

Sweet Pea isn't really big...the cat that I had basically all my life until last year (Sassy R.I.P.) was pretty big, and I think all her fur probably added a pound. :XD The other three cats we have now, are all Sweet Pea's kittens from before I had her fixed. Binks and Zoe are brothers from her first litter and they're HUGE like their dad was, and then Cloe is from the third batch, and she is tiny. She's always been tiny. The other kitten from that litter died and Cloe almost did too, and we bottle-fed her...my dad wanted me to take her to the pound when we couldn't give her away, but then the neighbors poisoned her dad (who was also my cat, Tiger) and he died, so my dad let me keep Cloe. So I have Sweet Pea and Cloe, and they're totally pampered. XD;
They still get in trouble if they mess with the parrot though, because he's basically mine, and you know, you're probably not going to find a parrot in a tree in your back yard twice, especially when you live in Missouri, so I take care of him. :lol:

O_O That's... frightening. I'm glad my kitties play with them first and then kill them without eating them. EWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!! *hugs*

I'm firmly in the belief that a pound of Sophie was all fur, she had so much fur. They POISONED your cat?!?!? O_O How the fuck do people do that to cats? Spoiled kitties are the best kitties. Wow, run away parrot!

I know, when they do stuff like that, it makes you realize that no matter how much you cuddle and love them, theres still some wild instincts in there that can just be plain scary. -shudders-

Yeah they poisoned him, totally meaningless because, the cat they "meant" to poison, who was also orange, got away free, while my poor baby died slowly and painfully. I don't know how you could even think about poisoning a harmless little cat just because it "went in your (precious) yard and scared your (stupid) chihuahuas". It makes me sick with people. :stare:

*hugs* I wasn't aware chihuahuas were smart enough to be scared. Stupid, stupid people. If they had a problem they should have called animal control, not tried to take care of it themselves.

And I hated those freaking dogs and that asshole anyway, because when Sweet Pea was not very old she got outside through a window, and got up a tree, not a small tree, like one that was 100 ft (or more idk) tall in this lady's backyard. And we didn't find her for like two days but we could hear her, and when we did find her I was out for two hours, in the lower part of the tree, trying to get her. And this guy is sitting in a lawnchair in the yard over watching us (me, my mom, and the woman with the tree) right? So she finally gets down within my reach and I reach for her, and the man gets up when he sees me almost get her and lets these yapping fucking dogs out. And she got scared and bolted, and went back up the tree to the absolute top and hid in a squirrel nest. And after that she just would not come down. She wound up, up there for a week and I was totally freaking because it was winter almost, and it was like freezing or below. And even though basically our whole neighborhood was trying to get her (except for the dog guy and the people who lived next door to us who were also horrible horrible people) we couldn't get her down. We finally got her down when my brother-in-law and my boyfriend started calling this tree-trimming service like NONstop and kept bugging this poor man who worked there, and finally he gave in and showed up with his girlfriend, and he still didn't want to do it but I was so tired and frazzled that I just started crying and then his girlfriend made him climb the tree and get my cat. And I felt really bad, because when he got her, she scratched his face. :gonk: He still got her though (and they didn't fall and die) so that was one of the VERY few times I've hugged a total stranger. :lol:

Mean, mean people. Yay for the guy that got her down though! My kitties are indoor cats and I'm pretty militant about it. Sophie only got out on her harness and leash in places she couldn't run. Or the beach, she walked on leash with me on the beach. So cute~

Angel:: Yes, the man who rescued her was a total life saver!
We have four kitties now, and my two Sweet Pea and Cloe, are strictly NEVER allowed out. Binks is sort of indoor/outdoor, which works for him. My bro's cat Zoe isn't ever supposed to leave the house, but sometimes curiosity overwhelms him lol. And my brother FREAKS!

Telly:: I got a new computer, so i will probably be around much more often. ;)

Bringing my thread up. :heart:
I think I have enough gold to buy the Wood Sprite, but Thoth is supposed to be selling it to me, or at least, he has it on hold for me, but I have no idea where he is. That puts a bit of a roadblock in my quest. :stare: Hopefully he'll pop up soon.

I hope all my quest-friends have had a good start to March! :D Spring is almost here!!
