animals are so smart about survival, you wouldn't expect it from little house pets, but they seem to have a sixth sense about disasters somehow. When we had a minor tsunami wave on our coast from the earthquake that hit japan and all the animals ran to the mountain tops before the alarms went off in the areas.

Like certain haters that are going to be here. :stare:
There's going to be an anti-WBC protest too, and my brother and a bunch of my friends are going but I don't think its a good idea.

Well the National Guard and possibly the Army (dunno?) is here already, and the Patriot Guard is coming too. Then we have police here from all over the state...I'm just praying it doesn't go bad. It worries me too, but I worry about everything anyway. @[email protected]

This...cult...called Westboro Baptist Church (you might have seen them in news headlines protesting at soldier's funerals and memorial services) are coming here to protest when President Obama is here at the memorial service for all the people that the tornado killed. They said that we got what we deserved for being horrible sinners, and that God sent that tornado to punish us, and that the people who have died are in hell where they belong. :(
So, since we're incredibly pissed off about this, there's going to be a big anti-WBC protest too.
AND somehow I got roped into making signs for my brother to carry. O_o

Why do people think these lunatics are Christian by the way? Nothing about their doctrine is Christian.

I'm not really sure. I never thought they were, just because you're not Christian if you think the way that they think.

Nawh I can totally identify a normal christan for an over religious wacko o.O
Kita I think it will be fine - I've been to LOTS and there mostly just.... boring. I think the most excitement will be from looking at all the guns the government has, but I doubt they have any reason to raise them

Saro:: Same here. XD
Birdie:: They aren't even over religious wackos. They're just wackos. Cruel, heartless, nut jobs.
The reason I'm worried isn't because if them, exactly, its just that the whole town is incredibly pissed off, and I don't want anyone to do something stupid and get hurt for it.
Apparently, Westboro is going to be at the university (where Obama is apparently going to be, but I heard he was going to be at the hospital so?) and the anti-Westboro rally thing is going to be at the mall. So separation seems like a good thing to me. But I still can't fucking stand that those psychos are going to interrupt the memorial service for the dead. Its sickening.

agreed, and if there is any kind of odd threat the probably will relocate anything relating to the president...
I still fail to see any logical connection between where you live and the amount you sin though....O.O maybe it's just that a lot of wackos use religion AS a front that makes me extra upset

Look, Birdie, this is WBC's website, but if you click it, just be prepared to see some cruel bullshit. :(
They use religion and twist the words of the Bible to get their own hateful point across.
And Obama will be at the college. I kind of want to go...I won't be able to see him though, lol, so many people will be there.

People will use anything they can to rationalize their hate. I've met atheists who hate gay people because they are "unnatural" These people are obviously not typical. They're just assholes using whatever they can to justify their evil.

Of course they don't. They want to hate. If they hate others it puts them down and raises them up.
Jesus tried to tell people that hate was wrong and that it only poisons them, but... so few wanted to hear it.
