What about the Amarande pants? :3 They're about the right shade of black (odd statement, that).

Ehh, they're too wide I think. I prefer tighter shapes, and anyway, I want boots to show. These don't overlap like I hoped they would though.. I wonder if the Starry Boots would. I feel bad about buying new things now because I owe someone 7k. >.<

I've been playing so much Tetris the last few days my fingers hurt and I'm starting to see Tetris blocks as I try to fall asleep. x____x It feels weird having so little gold, I'm used to always having a few grands on here.
Thanks! I wish the boots would overlap the trousers though.
What's up anyway? I've spent most of the day researching dadaism and a little surrealism and neo-dadaism for my essay. Dadaism is funny.

Surrealism I've heard of, but not dadaism. What's that? o.o
Yeah, I wonder if they'll make an option for the boots to go on top. It'd be cool. :3 Maybe it could be a multi- option. ^-^
A friend sent me an awesome youtube video of The Man Who Throws the Tetris Piece. Oh, it made me laugh. xD

Yes, yes it is. xD And I look so confused in the picture. Wondering what they're all laughing at. Or maybe I'm being scolded. >>, I don't remember it, so who knows!

XD It's not that awesome! It's just very big and stuff. When I stood near it, I felt nauseating and like I was moving. XD
@ ljos - That happens to me, too!! When I play a lot of tetris I start to see it when I close my eyes. XDD;;;

Dadaism came just before surrealism and it was much more anarchic. The artists were just rebelling against art and the posh middle class and everything. Nothing made any sense - their performances were absolutely nonsensical, their poetry and writing was often made up of just parts of words and sentences and they used weird collages a lot in their visual art. They also came up with the 'found object', displaying random objects as art. A famous example is when a dadaist called Marcel Duchamp (probably the most famous of them) exhibited a urinal placed upside down and called it 'The Fountain'. You can see a picture of it here.
They took part in a lot of protests and things, and also protested in their own way, for example by exhibiting something as a bottle dryer alone in a big, empty museum space, thereby making fun of the seriousness and the sort of.. holiness people held for museums.
They were also one of the main influences for post modern art, I think a lot of art today is strongly influenced by dadaism. Doesn't make any sense. xD
Multi-option boots would be awesome. I think I might have heard someone talk about it, a long time ago, but I could be mistaken. I hope they do it though.
Aww I need to look at that video later since I'm at work now.
Eesu, big waterfalls are so scary! But also so awesome.
And that happens to me with everything. Every now and then I get addicted to tetris or sudoku or something, and then I start playing it in my head when I close my eyes. It's like, there's no escape from it! D:

Dadaism sounds like fun. Also sounds like a major inspiration for Andy Warhol's work. >>; Awesome.
The Fountain makes me laugh. xD A lot.
One of the more interesting movements I've learned about is Graffiti Art. There was a big to-do about it in class when we started learning about it. Someone was offended by the idea that graffiti could be art, but our instructor said she didn't mean like gang tagging. It was more of a public property kind of deal. Public walls, not necessarily houses and cars (though that would be neat too). And some of the big names there were Basquiatt and Banksey, that I can remember. There were others, of course, but I can't think of them right now. Oh yeah, and the guy who created the Radiant Baby. xD
Okay, my geekdom is Legend of Zelda. I randomly get the songs from Ocarina of Time stuck in my head and hum them to myself. >>;;; I'm not as big on Tetris. xD Though that theme also occasionally goes on repeat in my head too.

@ ljos - Haha, Niagara Falls is the only waterfall I have witnessed in person so... But waterfalls are pretty in pictures, too!
I fail so much at sudoku for some reason!! XDD It's hard for me even on an easy level. XDD
And the talk of tetris made me want to play. >.>
@ Anthony - XDD!! I was recently trying to play some songs with my phone! There's a xylophone setting for the keypads and if you press some numbers in a certain order you can make a song. ^^ I can play Saria's song but not very well. XD I also can play tetris, but not without looking at the uuh sheet of numbers or what you want to call it. XD

Anthony, that's very probable. And yeah, they're really funny. xD
I love pretty graffiti, and absolutely despise tagging. It's so ugly! Why don't they do something awesome and cool? I don't get these gangs and stuff, but I'd imagine that would get much more respect than some ugly sketchy name. I guess they are usually in a bit of a hurry though, in order not to get caught. But still.
Banksy is amaaaazing. :D
Hee, Legend of Zelda. I only have one game on my Gameboy, something about four swords or something. It's the only Zelda game I've ever played, but I love it. Even though I'm stuck. >____>
I have a techno remix of the Tetris song. So much fun! *dances*
Eesu, yes they are. *nods* I haven't been near many big ones, but I've been to the biggest one in Iceland and it was pretty scary. I imagine Niagara falls must be loads bigger though.. my dad was there a few weeks ago actually. Went really early in the morning I think, he was very impressed.
Aww, it's weird, for some people Sudoku doesn't seem to make sense and for some it's no big deal. I guess it differs between people's brains, I think we must just think in different ways or something. I fail really hard at crosswords though.

I looooove Sudoku, but I have to be awake to do it. xD I get frustrated otherwise, and my eyes start to cross and stuff. >>;
Gang tagging is supposed to mark territory and make you look cool. 9_9 Banskey is awesome. >>;; Did you know he started using stencils so that he could get his work done faster? XD And his artwork actually raises property value. :3 People try to sell his stuff, but it's always on public property. So even if you own the piece of work, good luck getting the wall it's on. >>; It's awesome! Hee!
My favorite Zelda game has got to be Ocarina of Time. I've played through it several times, and still am not tired of it. xD I got stuck on Oracle of... Seasons? I think Seasons. The red one. And I'm currently stuck on Twilight Princess. I started it over once. I think I may again. I really enjoyed WindWaker, though the art and animation really threw me for a loop. xD I also just got the Wii Zapper, which comes with Link's Crossbow Training. I wanted it more for the game than the zapper itself. >>; /dork
Waterfalls are lovely... And rivers. and the ocean. And you know... bodies of water in general. xD

Strange, I always do it when I'm asleep.
:Þ
Yeah, but tagging is just so uncool. And I didn't know that about Banksy's artwork raising property value, but I'm really not surprised. Stencils became very popular a few years ago (I blame him, mostly) and I think they're usually pretty awesome. I mean, it makes for very quick spraying, but making the stencil must take lots of time. And stuff like his is usually beautifully detailed.
What console is that for? I only have the Gameboy Advance. Well, there's a PS2 and PS3 at home in Iceland, but as I'm spending most of the year in London where I only have the Gameboy...
I might try to find a cheap PS2 to have in London though. If we get a TV.
I love water so much, all kinds of it, but I'm really aquaphobic at the same time, so I can't be in it. It makes me sad. :C

The Zapper is for the Wii. xD It's kind of cool looking. This is the one I got. Oracle of Seasons is GameBoyColor (I think, been a while), Ocarina of Time is for the N64, and WindWaker is, I believe, GameCube. ( I wasn't sure which you were asking about, so I just answered for all of them. >>; )
That is a dilemma. D: I couldn't stand not being able to get into the water. xD

Oh yeah, sorry, I meant the Ocarina of Time. xD I've only tried Wii once, and only for a short time. It's kind of cool I guess, but I do like the PlayStation remotes better. I don't know, when I want to play a video game, I want to hold a PS remote in my hands. xP
Now I want to play something actually, but I called in sick at work and I'd promised myself I'd work on my essay since I had the time. Maybe.. if I manage to write lots, I'll play for a bit.. >.>

I am definitely a fan of the PS. I have a PS2, an N64, and a Wii, but I haven't hooked them up this summer, since I'm just moving again really soon. xD;; I didn't even bother to hook up my television. >>; I definitely will once I'm in my new place though. I'll hopefully be there for a while. :3

Hullo, Dark Lady. :3 Is that from Sailor Moon, or am I just a super geek? xD
Sudoku is fun. :3 I found a symbols version called Symboku. I actually do better at that one.
EDIT: Just trying to get my thread move back up. I actually have an active quest now, so the more people who see it, the better. :3
