I have brown/hazel/yellowishgold kind of eyes. Predominately brown though, from a distance. If you looked up closer, they aren't entirely all brown really. I really like my eyes though, as I've never seen anyone with quite the same color combination as it is.

The crying shame is that my Dad has bright blue eyes.... the things are BLUE. O_O And my mom's are a dark brown... so I get weird hybrid green/brown/goldenish colored eyes in the mixture.

I prefer the kinds of blue eyes that look like diamonds even from far away! *0* I also like green eyes, and normal blue eyes. xD I have hazel eyes, and I think darker colored eyes look prettier with black eye makeup like mascara. It makes your eye look like one shiny, for lack of a better word, butterfly. :]

frankly speaking, eye colour doesn't really matter as much to me.. as the sparkle in someone's eyes.. Not sure how to say this, but you can tell someone is smiling through their eyes.. and I like eyes that are able to give expressions like that and have a lot of life in them.

I have brown eyes.. and i like them the way they are.
Think if they were a different colour, i'll look really weird. So i wouldn't change what God gave to me ^^

i do find green eyes intriguing though.. (like a photograph that was taken in Afghanistan, in the national geographic once..)

I don't mind brown eyes, I mean I have them . . . but I've never found them pretty. Brown never fell in the pretty color category for me. Maybe that's why it's not in the rainbow. :XP

I've always wanted green eyes. I thought they were a lot prettier than blue eyes. Even though I find my eyes dull and boring, I wouldn't trade the color or anything about them.

Brown eyes are pretty. I actually dislike blue eyes. Green, hazel, gray, and gold are pretty as well.
I have multicolored eyes that change, without the use of colored contacts. D: It's actually quite annoying when people ask what color are your eyes, because they keep changing in the light. Or some days people will tell me that my eyes are green, then later that day my eyes have turned gold, blue or gray later. Most of the time they stayed multicolored.
So, love your brown eyes. At least, people won't assume you are wearing colored contacts.

I like my eyes. Dark, dark brown with what seems to be a hint of red. o_O
But you can't really tell unless your like, supah close, yo. 8D

I have brown eyes. They have spits of green in them, but you can only notice that if you're up close.

My dad has the coolest eyes, they're a really vibrate, milky green. My siblings and I got the brown eyes D: I'm so jealous of my dad xD

I like all eyes, though. They're all very neat and unique. I would love to have full green or full brown eyes.

I think my eyes are kinda boring as well - they're also brown. But reading some of the answers here makes me feel a bit happier about my eyes since a lot of people seem to like brown eyes. :D That's sweet. I honestly do see how nice my eyes look close up or in the light, I just wish they'd be more bright without the necessity[sp?] of light or anything. i call my eye's hazel, that's the only way i can easily describe them,
from a distance they look dark green/brown
but if you look closer, they remind me of a kiwi but with goldish-brownie-orange flecks and a very dark thin navy blue rim around the outside edge.

i like my eyes but i've a fondness for light grey eyes, or the unusual ones, the rare eye colors. or two tone eyes where one is differnt from the other.

i want a dark violet grey-blue eyes that would be lovely.

I have to agree with everyone however. I think the reason people aren't as thrilled about brown eyes as they are about the lighter ones is because of how common they are.

My eyes are a somewhat warm brown. There are times I like my eyes, depending on how the light hits them.

I don't prefer eyes by color: I tend to prefer a pair of beautiful eyes only if they're used beautifully. Have you ever noticed that some people can express themselves beautifully with just a look? The most beautiful thing to me is a pair of eyes containing pure contentment.

I also like eyes which of those little diamond flakes of different shades in them. Dark outer rings, and then lighter inner-colors with starburst or mocha inside.


My eyes are brown, and I don't really care about them one way or another. I only really like them when my girlfriend/boyfriend of any given time likes them. Otherwise, I've had them for so long that I guess they're kind of boring to me. :)


I don't think I ever really could change my eyes, because I got them from my father and I loved him more than anything else. However, if I could change my eye-color temporarily I'd like to experiment with a cobalt blue so deep that it's almost black... and then maybe a nice oceany-blue-green, rounded off by a purple variant.

Then I'd go back to Brown. :angel:

Aside from being common, when the iris is brown, the color is often dark and very close to the color of the pupil and can make the eye look like it's one solid color. Or at least that's why I don't really care for brown eyes. I love blue eyes because when someone is really nice and tan, their eyes look so beautiful and just stand out a lot.

My boyfriend and my oldest son have brown eyes and they are both beautiful in different ways...

My boyfriends are a lighter brown almost amber but not quite... My oldest son's are really deep brown and are extremely expressive!!!!

Both my baby and I have greenish blue eyes that change with what we wear! I do prefer light colored eyes to dark but I still enjoy dark eyes too!

Green eyes are wonderful, but I would never want them... One of my closest friends has green eyes, and they have these explosions of amber and green crystals in them... I could never compete, so I want to keep my own eye color.

i love brown eyes, i have brown eyes, they kind of lighten up in sunlight so they look even better, but in fake like (lightbulbs and such) they appear almost black as coal
