"In fact," Ellery said as she climbed from bed with a smile. "I do have plans." Upon seeing Lee's disappointed look, Ellery walked over to him, and wrapped her arms around his waist, "They are with you.."

Smiling up at him, she moved away towards her bathroom, and began brushing her teeth. Morning breath was never good.

When she was done, she skipped back over to Lee.

"What about you, do you mind spending all day with me, or would you like to sulk by yourself in my room? Because I wouldn't like that too much."

Pouting a bit, she stared up at him, "And I might cry if you want to be by yourself.."

Lee frowned at what Ellery has said. He looked over to the window then back at Ellery. He tried to make a happy smiled but failed miserably and sighed to himself. He walked over to the window again leaving Ellery again and sticking his hand outside the window in full contamination of the sun.

"I'm afraid Ellery I wont be able to accompany you today. My skin is still unused to the sunlight. In a few days maybe but that will be awhile from now." He looked at her and kept his hand outside while his skin started to boil. He stood there for a few moments then moved his hand away from the outside and placed it into his pocket.

"I will miss you my dear Ellery and be careful but you will have to be alone today. I do not wish for you to rot away in your house all day." He tried to sound positive and even started to shoved her to the door gently. He smiled at her through her protest and headed down the hall of her house to her front door.

Ellery had been practically shoved out of her own home in her pajama's, barefooted and all.
But it wouldn't be unusual for anyone to be seen with their sleep wear on in the city today, it was Saturday.
And on Saturday's, everyone seemed to flock to the coffee shops in flannel pajama shirts and sweat pants.

As she eventually made it into the closet cafe she could find, she ordered a small coffee, and took a window seat by herself.
There were already many people in the cafe, and it proved that she was not the only early waker.

Lee looked around for a moment while he was by the front door looking through the closest window. He looked at her with sadden eyes then after a few moments noticed what she was wearing and scowled at himself. After he was finished being angry about himself he walked into the living room and just begin to "sleep" once again.

Thinking about what was to come in the few days he knew he had left with her and frowned to himself.

He was running for hours. His feet had for the first time in days got tired. He rolled his eyes in his own weakness and decided now was a time for a rest. He stopped by a nearby town and noticed how nice it was. He noticed the familiarity of the atmosphere and grinned. He walked in the center street and glanced around for a while with a big grin on his face. That was when he noticed the cafe.

He decided he could use something to eat if they had anything and he had some money. When he walked in however it was his first time noticing all the stares from the townspeople. He could understand. . . he was walking around in only a pair of jeans but he didnt care. He sat down a seat over for a girl in her pajamas and smiled.

He tried to think who looked weirder himself with nothing but jeans on or her with her pajama set and began to laugh.

Ellery hadn't really noticed the man enter, although everyone else had. He wasn't wearing a shirt, and that was a bit unusual to say the least, and also he was quite tall, so you could only guess someone like him would attract attention.

Ellery sipped at her coffee, glancing up to see him, he was looking at her.
And he was certainly not from around here, or anywhere around here.
He looked different, and exotic in a way, or maybe it was only because he was something new to spice up the town.

Ellery couldn't help but to wonder why he was shirtless however, because frankly, it just looked rude for him to walk into a coffee shop with no shirt.
But it really wasn't her place to say anything, she didn't own the store, so she really couldn't say anything.

He looked over a the girl again and tried to ignore her. He went off and got himself a sandwich and a put of coffee. He took a couple of sips of his coffee and just sighed loudly. He turned over to the girl and laughed a little. He moved his body so he was looking at her and asked.

"So I have to ask. Its been bugging me. . . Why are you in your pajama's at. . . " Looks over to the clock on the wall and then at the girl again. "1 in the afternoon?" He looks at the girl and waits for her answer.

Oh, so now he speaks?

"Well," she began turning her body to face his. "I slept late, and I got kicked out of the house by my.. boyfriend."
It would have been much more difficult to say,'Oh yeah, I got kicked out of my house by my own personal vampire soul mate.'
So boyfriend seemed to work pretty well.
"Although usually I have on jeans or something. And what about you, no shirt?"

Motioning to the mans blank chest, Ellery smiled.

"You know last time I checked, shoes and a shirt are required to come into a place like this."

Taking another drink of her coffee, Ellery nodded in a sort of I-know-everything nod, "Uh-huh."

"I was in the neighborhood. . . . I just so happen to have lost my shirt. . . and I don't really like shoes that much." He smiled at himself knowing how bad of an excuse that was for the way he looked but he didn't care. He laughed a bit at her know it all attitude and to a HUMONGOUS bit of his sandwich consuming it in almost one bite. He barley chewed and finished in no time. Then he looked at her again and tried to continue the conversation.

" So your boyfriend just kicked you out? That was nice of him. . . " He said with a raised eyebrow. He started to slouch at his seat wanting a comfortable conversation and continued.

He smiled at her making a new subject brew when she looked a little annoyed with him and introduced himself.

"I'm Miles. And you are?" He asked as he moved his hands in her direction.

"I'm Ellery," she said with a bit of a laugh. Putting down her nearly gone coffee, she held out her right hand and then continued, "And he didn't kick me out per say, just kind of-encouraged me to get out for the day, instead of laying around."

Ellery even laughed at herself again for sounding so defensive, although again it would have been hard to explain things, and Lee wouldn't like it if she told a bunch of people anyway.
"So where did you come from? It must have been such a long way if you just happened to lose your shirt. As for me, walking a block down the street bare-footed is no major journey."

Ellery leaned in between their chairs, listening for the answer to her remarks. She hadn't exactly been the sweetest about things, but oh well.
She wasn't required to be, and she was slightly cranky from being shoved into the cold, so she felt slightly entitled to a bad attitude.

Miles froze for a moment then resumed his normal smile. He looked at his bare chest then at his bare feet and laughed for a bit to himself.

"I'm from out of town. I'm kindof looking for someone. . . So I've kindof not noticed my lack for shoe wear and such." He leaned against his table and saw the waitress coming his way. He order a bigger sandwich then before then resumed his conversation.

He sniffed the air a bit and noticed the sudden oder that was around Ellery. He looked a her for a moment then coughed a bit.

"Interesting . . . perfume? Who gave it to you?" He asked in a casual way. He started to drink some of his coffee for a bit longer then looked back up at her. He enjoyed having someone to talk to. He hadn't been around people. . . or anyone in a long time. So he decided what he wanted to talk about next.

After mentioning her perfume, Ellery looked suspiciously at Miles.
"I don't wear perfume," she said bluntly, he voice without emotion.

His expression from that point on puzzled her.
He didn't look quite angry.. but also, he just looked so strange.. Ellery couldn't put her finger on it, but she would find out what was wrong.

"You okay," she asked him.

But he didn't seem okay. Period, so whatever she had said or done to screw him up like that did a really good job.

(I'm sorry it's short.)

Miles looked at her for a moment then smiled. He put on a goofy grin and tried to hide his confusion.

"Yea sorry about that. . . must have been someone else in this cafe. Its really strong though." He said with a laugh. He looked around the cafe and noticed the waitress with her hair filled with gel.

"Oh its totally her." He said with a smile. He looked over at her and then around the cafe.

"This town seems pretty nice. . . So how long have you been here?" He looked at her sheepishly.

He began to sit up from his seat and to the whole new sandwich to his mouth and eat the whole thing in one bite. He then placed some money on the table then at Ellery again.

"Cause, I don't know my way around here and I was wondering if you could help me find somewhere nice to shop and stuff? I might even get you something for the trouble" He looked at her for a moment then noticed something and frowned sadly.

"Wait oh! I'm sorry I don't want to seem like a creep or nothing! If you don't want to or something you don't have to. It was only a suggestion for something to do. . . "

Ellery felt a bit relieved to know that it wasn't her, but still..

"Oh, it's fine, I knew what you meant."
She found herself laughing as he mentioned being a creep.
He was anything but a creep, in fact he seemed quite nice, sweet even, and he was funny.
"Trust me, you are not being strange in the least bit, you actually seem quite nice."

Getting to her feet, Ellery took the last sip of her coffee, and then took the seat across from Miles.

"I will definitely show you around if you'd like, I have nothing to do, and the rest of the day to do it.
If you'll walk me home, I can change clothes, and do something with myself, and then we can get going, does that sound good," she asked.

Miles looked at Ellery while she sat in front of him. He smiled when she agreed to go out with him but then raised his eyebrow at her idea to go to her place.

"I thought you said your boyfriend was at your place? Does he care if you hang with me with no shirt or shoes on? I mean I could buy you an outfit if you would like so you don't have to walk around all day in that and not get in trouble with the boy." He said as he held his hand out to her while he got up from his seat.

Ellery took his hand with a smile, and got up, standing next to Miles.
"Oh, it will be find, he won't mind at all. And if it will bother you that much, you can wait outside."

Smiling up at Miles, she continued.

"I don't think he would really care that much, but whatever.. I don't want you to buy me anything, so you can just follow me home, and then we can just walk back. Does that sound good to you?"

Her words sounded fast and run on as if she had said everything off of one big gulp of air.

Miles looked at Ellery and shrugged. If she didn't think her boyfriend would mind then whatever. He did kindof wounder however how come she didn't suggest him tagging along. . . Or why he was at her place all day. . . what was he doing anyways?

He pushed those thoughts aside deciding it was none of his business and both him and her walked outside the cafe.

"So what direction?" He asked as he pointed in a random area. He looked around a bit and noticed that smell was back. It had never left but with the weirdness the question brought her he thought it was just his imagination. But it was still there. It was also getting stronger the more they headed toward her house or at least where she was leading him.

"So uh. . . How long you lived here?" He asked to make the trip to her place less tense. It worked and they got into a nice calm conversation. But the smell still lingered. It actually got really gross smelling. It wasn't strong so he presumed it was nothing but it smelled really bad.

"Do you smell something?" He asked as a bold move.

Lee stayed exactly were he started when Ellery left. And everything was fine. But all of a sudden he took a huff of the air and snarled to himself. It wasn't good. And whatever it was was coming here. He wanted to go, find Ellery but he was as trapped as when they first met. Stuck behind closed doors. He then began to pas.

As they walked, Ellery smiled as they got less than twenty feet away from her house, "I have lived here for a little over a month.."

When Miles mentioned something about the smell, Ellery cocked her head to the side, and stopped on her front lawn.
"I don't smell anything," she said blankly as she began towards her door.
"Now you can wait there, or come in, it doesn't matter to me, although I think people might find it a bit strange that a giant shirtless man is standing in my front yard."

Motioning for Miles to come inside, Ellery grabbed a key from under her porch mat, and entered her home, leaving the door open behind her for Miles.

"Hey Lee," she called upon not seeing him. "Lee, are you here?"
Walking down the hall a bit, she gave up and returned to Miles and the front door.
"Come on.. And Lee," she called. "If you are in here, this guy is coming in with me, so don't panic!"

Walking into the spare bathroom, she began digging for something, make-up, whatever, as Miles waited..

Miles walked into the house and about gaged. He held his breath out of curtsy for Ellery but as soon as she left him he coughed to himself. He took a look around the house and noticed a gloominess about this house he did not like. It was then that he realized what that smell was!

He had been confused at how this scent was different from the others but he didn't care. He looked around skeptically. He started to look around the house as quietly as he could. From room by room without trying to get Ellery's attention when he turned around sharply.

Lee noticed the intruder the moment he was at the door. And hid himself from view as both Ellery and "him" walked through the door. It seemed as though the mutt was chocking from the scent and held it in till Ellery was gone. And for that he was greatful.

He watched as the mutt tried to locate him and grinned to himself. He waited until he was back into the living room when he sneaked his way behind him. He was about to start attacking him when the mutt turned around. They both growled at eachother in low tones when they both noticed Ellery walk into the living room.

"So this is the boyfriend I see" Miles said with a smile.

Lee looked puzzled for a moment then looked at Ellery with a bit of fear in his eyes.

"Do you know him Ellery?" He asked in kind of a protective stance looking over at Miles.

Ellery had luckily gotten ready quite quickly, and had jeans and a t-shirt on when she came back to the two.

"Well," she said. "I don't really know him.. But he is new in town, and I thought I could show him around a little bit. I mean, what could it hurt, right? He really doesn't know his way around, so I want to help him."

Ellery smiled as she stepped closer to the two, "Lee, Miles, Miles, Lee," she said as introduction.
Even though Ellery was only human, she could still somewhat feel the tension between the two.

"Well," she said quickly. "Me and Miles are going to go now, Lee, behave.."
Leaning up, she popped him a quick kiss, and then grabbed Miles by the arm.

"Come on," she said taking him with her.

Miles face had brightened up a lot when they walked out of Ellery's house. He couldnt help looking back at the house as they walked out. He looked at Lee and smiled evilly to him. Lee was looking outside the window and seething. Miles felt proud of himself for all that has happened to him.

He was happy to have met this girl. She was his ticket at Lee and that was all he wanted. Yea he liked the girl but he refused to connect with people anymore so it wouldn't be a lose for him.

He looked back at Ellery and smiled a big bright smile.

"Lee looks like a nice guy." He stated to her.

It seemed like she was about to say something and at knowing she would say "SOMETHING" That would help him destroy Lee only made his giant smile even wider.

'Today was a good day' He thought to himself merrily.

"He is," she responded with a smile. "He cares about me a lot.."

Walking side by side with Miles, Ellery couldn't help but to feel just a bit bad about leaving Lee behind..
But really, it was up to her. If it had been, Lee would be right by her side, holding her hand.

"So how long do you plan on staying here," she asked Miles politely. "Because if you need a place to stay, my door is always open."

Smiling up at Miles, she nudged him with her elbow, there really was no reason for him to have to rent a hotel if he could just stay with her.

Although, she had a feeling Lee wouldn't like it very much, it wouldn't be too bad, right?

Mile's smiled at Ellery as big as he could. He knew it wouldn't look suspicious on why he was smiling even though he wasn't smiling because of what she thought he was smiling about. He laughed to himself in a low tone and covered it up nicely with a low cough and rejected Ellery's offer.

"Na I'm cool. I know your boyfriend isn't going to like the idea of a strange man sleeping at your place. . . Plus something tells me he didn't like me all that much. So we should make the best out of today. Ill be in town for a while so we can just chill in the daytime. . . " He ended talking very quietly so Ellery would have trouble hearing it.

They started walking toward one of the side streets toward one of the shops and he smiled. He actually wanted to shop. He couldnt remember the last time he did. And having Ellery with him was just a bonus. So he looked around the nearby shops and placed a finger on his chin.

"So where to first" He asked Ellery as he followed her to the first shop and grinned to himself all the way.

Lee was freaking out and he didn't know what to do. He was close to just walking out into the sunlight and it be damned if he died in the process of protecting Ellery but he thought twice.

The Volturi were already looking for him and they were just as dangerous if not worse then the grimy werewolf. So he stayed where he was. He continued to look out the window and looked at the sun watching it go down slower by slower.

He began to grow impatient and his hunger grew fast. He got angry and wanted to take it out on someone. . . ANYONE but he tried to remain calm.

He was only calm for moments until he decided he couldnt wait any longer

(I am so sorry for not updating much today. . . I wasn't at home much and I was with a chick who didn't have a computer. Ill be on most of the day tomorrow though so look out!)

Ellery had no clue as to what the two had against each other.
She just thought they were boys, and that they did what every other boy could do, fight about girls, and argue.
Little did she know the plots behind the two, and how ready they were to rip each others heads off!

But despite her lack of knowledge, she walked in and out of stores with Miles, grabbing his had occasionally to pull him along with her.

And soon enough, the sun was beginning to fade out from the sky, turning non-existent to the stars and moon.

"Wow," Ellery said as they walked towards another store, right against the dark.
"We've been walking for hours. Have you gotten a good enough look around yet," she asked him.

Of course, she had no idea of just how much being with Miles was wearing Lee to the bone.
It would only be a matter of time now..

(It's fine. And yay! I will be on like, all day tomorrow too! :3)

Lee paced around in Ellery's living room for hours waiting for the sun to set. He was beginning to make a indent in the floor when he finally stopped and looked at the window again and smiled. The sun was setting and it would only be just a few more moments to find Ellery and away from that wolf!

Lee moved over to the front door and opened it slowly. He looked around at the sky and found that his skin could take the little sun that was still up and smiled. Then he raced off in a hunt for Ellery.

Miles looked up at the sun and frowned a bit. It was then that he looked at both his hands with its bags of clothing then at Ellery.

"Well I think I got everything I need. . . Do you know of anywhere I can stay. I don't really want to interfere with your and your boy toy so I was thinking an inn or something. . ." Miles asked Ellery a little bit quickly noticing how quickly the sun was setting.

He wasn't going to face Lee quite yet. He wanted to torture him a little. Make him and his "mate" argue a little. And make his life difficult then kill him in the most none peaceful way imaginable. He wanted to tare him into pieces and even if Ellery would never forgive him he didn't care. He needed his revenge and thats what he was going to get.

Miles smiled to himself in a somewhat devilish manner confusing Ellery a bit he was sure but then just looked up at the sky once again and found he had only moments left.

Ellery had indeed been a bit perplexed with Mile's strange grin, but no matter, his expression turned back into what appeared to be his normal one in only seconds.

"Well, if you insist, I guess you could stay at the little inn place over there."

Ellery pointed in the direction of the inn, showing Miles the exact building, in all of it's bright and shining glory.

"I wish you would stay with me, but I guess if you really don't want to, it's perfectly fine."

Smiling, Ellery gave Miles a quick hug, "Okay, you'll be fine, and I'll go on home. Have a good night, kay?"

And then Ellery skipped towards her home, just as swiftly as she had come. Usually, this is what she did to people, surprising them and what not.
But soon enough she would run into Lee on her way back home, and of course things were doomed from there.
