@tentenpuff- xDD Oh my God, that sounds like something I would do.

And yeah, my mom is really paranoid of take-out places too. Especially Burger King. :x

I work at McDonalds and we throw out so much food. For example if one of the customers says they want better fries, or somehting is wrong with a burger, into the trash it goes and we make them new food.

Also there have been incidents where people have dug cups out of the garbage cans to get free refills. We discovered this after we changed the packaging, and for 2 weeks after we would have people asking for refills with the old cups.

Sometimes we give out free food, like if we're teaching the new trainees how to make ice creams or sundaes, we give out the extra sundaes to people waiting in line. But usually we just throw extra food away. We're not allowed to serve it if the customer says there's something wrong with it.

She called for whoever that was four or five times, waiting a bit then turned to her manager and went "they've gone I guess, what do I do with these?" The manager said "toss them" and in the garbage they went.

I thought that was such a waste. They were to go so no one but the server touched them, they would be fine to give to the next customer who ordered them, or heck just give one each to the three of us standing there waiting on orders.
Yepp, i think the same thing! its the best thing to do, i don't think its that evil, i would have done the

I'd take the pretzel! 8D When life offers your free food, just take it. TAKE IT AND EEEEEEAAAAAATTTTTT IT. It's a crime to let it just sit there unclaimed! D:

Because, all of the people that work there are stoned all the time. (Like, we've actually seen them smoking weed by the dumpsters. :<) And they rarely get the orders right. Like, they'll give us the wrong thing, or not enough, or too much. So she always checks the bag before we leave. Cause we live across town and if we don't realize that something is off until we get home, the gas we waste driving back would probably pay for a whole new order. x__o

I probably would have done the same thing. My husband and I went to Taco Bell one day and there were these young guys in front of us, my husband could hear everything they ordered. So, we were waiting on our order, they put a tray of food up and the guy in front of us takes it all, most of it was our order and the guy knew that but took it anyway and grinned the entire time. They didn't make him pay for it after they figured out what happened either. We finally got our food but, they should have made the guy pay, the employees knew what was up too.

We've done that before. :]
Once at Wendy's the lady gave us three orders of fries when we asked for none. We took 'em anyway. Friiies.

Don`t worry, though I doubt you are by now from the numerous replies that this thread has gotten by the time allotted, everyone has or will do that in their life. It`s normal human behavior. :'P

That happens to me so much in food places, but I wished it happened more often in KFC. XD I love the food there. <33

It's not that bad. The net worth of that pretzel was probably around fifty cents anyway... that store won't go bankrupt because of it. Besides, many people have probably shoplifted more expensive things.

I wouldn't call it terrible. I'd say you are lucky. It is really great that you have chances like that. Not that you mean it. It just happens. Just yesterday, my boyfriend and I went boating. We paid the boat monitor some money then after the ride we picked up money along the road. We actually earned. Isn't that cool? So I guess that is not about being bad. It's about being lucky

I've been given too much change at shops before, and not said anything about it - though I have felt guilty afterwards, it's never been enough for me to turn around and own up.

It happens. I'm sure something like that has happened to us all at least once.
I think it's a karma thing. A small way of karma saying, "Hey, good job."

I don't think it's horrible. If you hadn't taken it, they would have just thrown it away anyways. At least it wasn't wasted food by you taking it.

This was more of an accident then my being evil: When I was about ten my mom and I were ordering food at the mall and she and I stepped aside to wait. Moments later the food came, I picked it up and started heading where my older sister was waiting...my mom didn't follow. Then she arrived a few minutes later with a tray of food.

She asked where I got the tray and apparently I snatched someone else's tray....>.> My mom had me place all th extra food in the bag of my sis' McDonald's bag and we kept it.

I ordered one, and when the lady put two on the counter, I asked around, and no one claimed them. I ordered the pretzel, so I took one, went back to my mom, yadayada, and she told me to just take the other one, so I did. XD;;;

Anyone else here eeeeevil? >DDD

Poor pretzel lady will have to pay it from her own pay check. ^^;;

But sometime it happened to me too when we're buying in the supermarket and the cashier guy missed count some items...The evil temptation to just keep the items, but usually we resisted it, either my dad or I will return the items or asked the cassier to count it too. :P It's not like they were such expensive items which we will really lucky by getting them for free anyway.
