Verona giggled. Saturdays. "Well, when I was younger, my mother used to take me to play in a park.. Then I hit my tweens, and teens, and started making... friends.. " Some of them really couldn't be considered as friends.. Example as earlier of today.
"And you know, I dated and stuff. But anyway, I like to shop and I walk a lot. But I walk everyday, so that doesn't count.." Hmmm..
She did a lot, everyday, so it really was one big, boring routine. "Ooh, ooh!" She said, suddenly bouncing around in her seat. "I horse ride!" Or did, "But recently, my father has stopped that, and been working on marrying me off.. And look, I got a ring!" She leaned into Ezekiel. "But I love you, so it's much different than what would have happened to me.."
She could have ended up with Eric!

"Walks," he asked with a curious smile. "Then we'll have to go for walks in a garden or forest somewhere. I love walking places." He'd started speaking and when he heard what she'd said. It made him smile to hear that she loved him and also that he'd actually helped someone obtain a better life for once. He leaned back for a moment, smiling before leaning forward again and kissing her on the cheek.

She giggled again. "I'd love to walk anywhere with you!" She couldn't help herself, bit to lean up quickly, and kiss Ezekiel's forehead. She leaned against him softly, and sort of nuzzled up to him. She loved him much more than was healthy.
"So, what did you do on the weekends?" She had a feeling he drank a lot. Although, it didn't seem fair to assume something like that without asking first, at least.
Her thoughts made a trail backward for a second. She was thinking about Eric, Jace.. Lot's of things. Mayhen.. Ugh..

"Well," she said with a sigh. "When I was younger I would spend a lot of time with my siblings until the curse came into affect for me and then I started getting into more dangerous things but I usually spent my weekends either sitting and just waiting until something happened or avoiding the public eye. That was at least until I was fifteen and the rest is just a different story." He let out a slight sigh as if he felt guilty about the stuff that he did and it was the reason he didn't want to say what it was. He hadn't started drinking till seventeen or eighteen so he'd had quite a few girlfriends to take home that his parents weren't quite aware of.

"Oh.." Verona said softly, looking down. She just sort of blushed, and stayed quiet. She knew what the rest was.. And that was just.. terrible... She didn't exactly know what to say either. It was just one of those moments, where everything just got really quiet, and very awkward.

Even the people at the counter could see just how weird things had gotten so suddenly. One of the waitresses was tempted to go an ask if they needed anything..

"I took walks when I wasn't in the social swing though," he said, trying to make her feel more comfortable since the situation had turned from fine to awkward.

He had shifted in his seat slightly and glanced up at her before looking down. He looked like a little boy that was waiting for his punishment after admitting to his parents the horrid thing he had done.

She smiled weakly, and as best she could at the present moment. "Ahh.." She said softly, clutching his arm, and looking down. She still felt so very just.. She didn't feel very special, knowing that he'd.. It wasn't his fault though. It just wasn't. She wouldn't blame him for anything, or try to make him feel guilty.
Although, she did feel at least a little special, since she knew some things.. So she was okay, she could only guess.

"You've made me regret a lot of the things that I've done," he admitted. "You've made me realize that if you just wait you could have the most wonderful person come and get help for you from a drunken stupor and accept some hopeless apology after kicking you out of their house."

He grinned slightly, laughing at his own stupidity.
