My parents have three days off a year - Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

So even though it's "the usual" reply, I have to say, the best part of Easter was spending the Whole Day with my family, but I think it means more to me than it would for most people... ^-^

I think my favorite thing about Easter is getting my Easter basket. Yes, I know it’s silly, but my family still does this. : D But I really do enjoy eating cute chocolate bunnies and eggs, and munching on jellybeans. Usually I also get a beanie baby to add to my collection. This year I got a soft chicky beanie. : )

I’m such a big kid. I really am.

My next favorite thing would be my family dinner. Normally we have a big Easter lunch with ham, homemade hot rolls, sweet potatoes, and yummy desserts. This year, sadly, we weren’t able to have an Easter dinner because a lot of our family was out of town. *is very unhappy over this*

Other favorite things about Easter:

Spring flowers in stores; they smell so good!
Pretty Easter dresses.
Baby bunnies in photography centers.

1) Cadbury mini-eggs. The little chocolate ones with the thin chocolate coating shell. LOVE THEM!!
2) Easter baskets. My family has always done easter baskets easter morning; they generally consist of candy and a few little trinket toy like things.
3) Easter eggs and easter egg hunts. I don't color them much anymore, but I still enjoy it. And even though I'm 24 I still love hunting them(which is actually more around the target age since egg hunts are a symbol for fertility).

I enjoy playing with the 'peeps' bunnies~ >D

"Oh no! DDD: his head came off! -nomnomnom-"

Also having "ultimate peep battles". Where you stick two different colored peeps into a microwave. Whichever one lasts the longest wins. ^w^

Peeps are the best. And the chocolate.

Easter egg hunting was fun for me, not the coloring. ): Too messy and cheap watercolor paint.

Too bad I didn't celebrate Easter this year, but I did have fun on that day without the easter egg hunts and candy. :3

I love dying eggs. I know, I'm too old to be doing that kind of stuff, but it's fun. We got regular dye and some funky dyes this easter. Tie Dye, Marble, and Camo. The Tie Dye was the best. Instead of using thin cloth like they said, I was using paper towels and the little indentations and such in the paper towels made the eggs come out awesome. Funky colors and funky patterns. It's also nice to spend time with my mom, 'cause she still loves dying eggs too. xD

I think the thing that is special about easter is gathering with your family and eating together and hanging together. but the presents and candy are great too. and for me jesus isnt important at all since my family is atheist but we view this christian holiday as a way to spend time with each other.

I love seeing all the merchandise for sale in the stores. :o Our Walmart has an entire aisle just for stuffed animals every Easter, it's amazing. I want to work in a retail place just so I can mess with all the holiday toys.

I also like dying eggs! I pick a different coloring kit every year, last time I had one with a bunch of hats the eggs could wear. This year I just got one with some glittery stuff but they didn't turn out that great.

I most imprtant thing that I like about Easter is preparing for this holiday. I mean coloring eggs is the most fun part. I remember when last year we were sitting at my friend's place and coloring eggs in different colors and making funny pictures on them.
We had lots of fun then :3
And the second best part of Easter is the chocolate bunny.

Honestly I don't really celebrate Easter. I used to do the egg hunts and all when I was younger, but now it's pretty much just an excuse to eat chocolate and get a few days off school. The Easter comments about my username make me laugh.

Man, I really miss dying (sp?) eggs. I haven't done that in forever.
And Cadbury creme eggs are amaaaazing. <3
But the hollow chocolate bunnies are definitely my favorite thing about Easter. I don't understand why they're so tasty but somehow solid just doesn't taste as good. >.>

D:
Reading through the posts, I just realized I haven't gotten an Easter basket since I was like, five.
I haven't gotten any candy this year, actually.
