@ToriKat:

there is a little snipit of what IBS is it is a lot more complicated then that but that kinda gives you an idea about what it is hmmm everytime I post it it says inines instead of intestines lol (there it did it again oh well anyway I am sure you know what it means lol)

I am not sure how I feel about string theory to be honest with you. It looks good on paper, but so did communism and the Edsel and we know how those worked out! *shudders*

I am glad they are trying to find alternatives to explain the big bang, I have always maintained that there had to be a catalyst or it would work. But I am not sure we are in the right place yet.

The reason it's doing that Ruby is because they word filter takes out anything with t-e-s-t in it.

It has to do with 11 known dimentions and the idea that there are universes caught in "branes" that smash against each other giving the illusion that our universe is expanding when in fact it's not. It's a lot of supposition and no way to prove it. *shrugs*

no I have had problems with my tummy for as long as I can remember,but when I was 16 it got very bad I lost almost 30lbs in a little over a months time I went from 113lbs down to 84lbs (I am 5'7) so you can just imagine how bad I looked everyone thought I was going to die,that is when the panic attacks started as well but it took the doctors 9 years to diagnose me :( now I am not as sick or under weight as I used to be,but I still cant leave my house unless I have a couple of beers first,I am not sure why beer helps I think it is because it relaxes me.

they have put me on many different medications but none seemed to help much at all,the only thing I can do is watch what I eat because things like pickles,beans,broccoli,cabbage or anything that has flavor :sarcasm: kills my belly it makes me sit in the bathroom for hours and the pain is so bad I sometimes end up puking,the only thing that brings any relief is the over the counter medicine Immodium AD

oh I didnt know Wind had it as well the poor thing I just hope she doesnt have it or get it as bad as I do

@Ruby_Dawn: Wait....wait...it took them nine years to diagnose your condition? T___T That's awful! *can't believe you suffered for that long without knowing why*

.....wait, why am I surprised? >_> The doctors took years to finally break the news to my mom she had diabetes. *sighs* Just because they were too busy to do simple tests to check her blood sugar...

Ee gads, I love all the foods you mentioned. T_T *thinks you must be going through torture!*

@Blondheart: I'm not doing a good job at being a boy! Those should've been one of the top things on my minds. Along with cars and sports. 8D

yeah it took them 9 years *rolls eyes* that is one of the reasons I cant stand going to see a doctor because I think they just hand out PHD's to just anyone anymore :(

oh yes it is torture not being able to eat those foods especially my pickles *cries*

I cant believe the stupid doctors didnt check for the diabetes sooner see that proves it grr I remeber this one time I went in to the hospital for heart problems and they told me I drank too much Mt. Dew LOL

@Blondheart: I don't know. xD I just thought it'd be funny to be a boy for awhile. Every time I change my gender, everyone's like, O_O!! Plus, it was default...and I'm too lazy to mess with it right now. x3

@Ruby_Dawn: I swear......in my head, doctors are just money hungry. >_> *doesn't like commercialized medicine one bit!*

I'd die without pickles! D: Lately when I eat a bunch, I get a burning sensation. What do I do? Keep eating them. *is so terrible!*

...too much Mountain Dew...wow. >_<; Yeah, my mom's been going in over and over asking them if she had it, and they would just wave it off, saying she didn't look sick. >_>; Do we have a blinking light on our foreheads that tell them whether we're REALLY ill or not? >_<;

@Blondheart: xD Oh god...sorry, but when I read bone spur...and their response being brain tumor, I had to laugh. ^^;;;

I know seems funny, but it really wasn't. She made me go directly to the hospital in an ambulance and have a ton of tests run. It scared the hell out of my husband and cost me about 2 grand in bills. I was NOT amused.

The burning sensation is heart burn. Be very careful about that, if you end up with holes in your esauphagus from acid reflux it's a bitch to heal. You will have troubles for years to come. Cut back on the caffiene, no pickles and get some tums.

yep they are just money hungry that is probably why it took them 9 years to figure out what was wrong with me (I have no insurance) and probably why it was all the Mt. Dew's fault for my heart problems lol that is why I lean toward natural med's now except my Immodium

yeah I should not eat anything on that list that i gave you but sometimes I cant help myself especially with the pickles :) but I suffer after and swear I wont do it again but I always do lol

@blond: :O a brain tumor??? oh wow yep it is official doctors suck :lol:

@Blondheart: Hoooolyyyy cow. o___O; All that thanks to her mistake. I would've loved to shove the bill at her and tell her to pay for it...

Guhhh...I've been trying to pretend it's not heart burn. T_T I love spicy foods and whatnot...*pouts* Guess I really should take care of myself. *headdesks* Torture...Hm, Tums. Might buy some tomorrow then. xD

@Ruby_Dawn: I'm taking a course right now about the health care in this country...and frankly, I'm so disgusted. It explains all the problems we've had with our doctors....Usually, I try to research things and fix them myself. I just get scared that one day I'll have something that requires immediate attention...and I won't go in for help because I just don't trust they'll give a flip about helping me. D:

I know when my mom was asking all the questions when she had concerns about diabetes, I looked everything up and told her what to do, how to eat, how much to exercise, etc. She ended up listening to the same lecture from nutritionists. xD

@blond: what is Juru doing? :)

@Tori: yeah I am the same way I find out all I can by searching the internet but like you I am scared about the fact that I might not go in when it IS something serious due to the bad doctors I have had in the past :(

Another little present I got from that doc was a type of pills they don't prescribe anymore because they eat holes in your tract causing heartburn. It's taken me 4 years to get it under control. It's still not healed, but it's under control. I can still eat spicy and stuff, I just have to eat tums first. But be careful not to eat more than they say on the package or it can cause your problems too.

They gave you pills that made holes in you? x____x

*scared of her allergy pills now* >_>;

@Ruby_Dawn: xD You know those commercials where they tell you really fast after advertising the drugs all of the side effects? It's like a list of fifty! I'm like...is the problem really so bad that I'd want all those side effects? xD
