"Okay then" Ebony smiled. Her hands were shaking. So was tyhe rest of her body for that matter. But she did not care. She wanted to know more.

Moki took the lead up the stairs. He had the feeling that this was where his family died. "Ebony, on the other hand, I think we should leave."

"Why?" Ebony was really confused now. At first, Moki wants to look around. Then, he wants to go.

Ebony began to develop a strange feeling in her stomach. Like she was seeing her past. Ebony believed she had never been outside her village, now she was having second thaughts. This was too recognised for her to never had been there before.

She began to see her past. She had been here. But why?

Moki shook his head. "I don't know, I just... don't like this place."

"Me either. Shall we go? But where?" Ebony looked down at the floor. That carpet. She rememberd it so well. But why? She just couldnt figure it out.

"How is this place familiar to you?" Moki asked. "I know my parents died here... but I don't know... about you."

"I, Well, When I was younger, I had a twin sister. I think, well, we ran away from home. To travel the world an what not. I think we took residence in this old place. And, well, I left but she never did" Ebony began to cry again. "It took me three whol weeks to find my way home. One of the residence here klilled her while she slepped. He tried to kill me, but, I ran away before he had chance."

"I wonder how many other people have had past here," Moki said. He looked around some more. He just noticed there was blood on the walls. This sent chills down his spine. He pulled Ebony closer to him. He didn't want them separated. "Ebony, we should leave here as soon as possible."

Ebony took a deap breath as her chest touched Moki's. She moved her feet to face him as she was about to fall over. "You're right. Lets go. We'll have to find another place" Just then, Ebony noticed somone coming up behind them. The man was holdind a knife. She grabbed hold of Moki's hand and dragged him down the stairs. Her heart was ponding in her chest. She felt like screaming but thaught it better not to alarm Moki. She just kept running. Gripping Moki's hand tighter and tighter.

Moki could see the door leading outside. He pulled Ebony through it as quick as possible, closing it quickly. That man had scared him, and he didn't know where he had come from either. Fell onto the ground against the door, he was really tired. "Ebony... that was close... are you okay?"

"I, I, I'm fine thank you. Are you?" Ebony tumbeled into a heap next to Moki. She was now exhausted. Were had that man come from? She had hope Moki would not have seen him as she did not want him to be afraid. But he had done. This was all too much for her to take in. She rested her head on Moki's shoulder and closed her eyes. She wanted nothing more but to rest.

Moki let Ebony rest, he wanted to as well, but he didn't want to let his guard up. If he fell asleep in this strange place they were open to getting attacked. For Ebony's sake he would keep himself awake.

Ebony fell into a deep sleep. She saw all the things that had happend to her as a child.

She awoke with a start and turned to look at Moki. He looked exhausted. "Maybe you should get some sleep. You look tired" Ebony smiled at him.

"I'm okay," Moki lied. While Ebony had been sleeping he made a promise to himself to act more like a man in this situation. "How'd you sleep?"

"Not very well. I had a horrible dream. And the floor is not all that comfy" She smiled. She wanted to move away from here so they could find a room. It would be better for them both. Moki looked exhausted and Ebony was begining to get cold again.

"Shall we set to work finding a room then?" She asked curiously.

"Yeah, maybe we should," Moki said, getting up slowly. "We might get sick if we stay out here too long."

"And i'm sure we wouldnt want that now" She smiled as best she still could in the horrid mood she was in. You could tell that she was begining to get sick alreaddy as she is normaly a very smiley person. But today, she doesnt feel much like smiling. She stood and held out a hand for Moki. She wass ure he was getting tired of holding her hand, but she thaught it was best to make sure they were close by eachother.

Moki took Ebony's hand, smiling. "Let's find some place fast." He looked around. He saw a lot of places that looked very warm. None of them looked like an inn to him, but they should just keep walking and hope to find some place.

Ebony saw Moki's smile as he took her hand. This gave the indication that he didn't mind holding her hand. She smiled back at him warmly.

Ebony felt a tickle in the back of her throte. "Achooo" She let out a huge sneeze. Ut-Oh! She might be getting a cold. She hoped not though.

MOki jumped, "Are you okay? We should walk fast. I think there is an inn up there."

Ebony giggled as Moki jumped. She found it quite funny. "Yeah, good idea. It will be warm hopefully" She smiled at him.

"Yeah, hopefully," Moki said, smiling. As soon as they approached the door, Moki opened it a little. The place looked alright. It didn't look abandoned. "C'mon Ebony, I'm sure this place is alright."

She smiled at Moki and followed him in. There was a man sat a counter. He looked friendly enough. There were also a few people walking around so it clearly wasnt abondoned. Ebony gripped Moki's hand tighter. She was nervous strangely. It seemed as though it was too good to be true.

Ebony saw a young couple and relaxed. There was nothing wrong with this place clearly. She smiled at her foolishness. Her grip on Moki's hand loosend.

Moki walked to the man at the counter. Before asking him anything he smiled once more at Ebony. He wondered what she thought about the place. He turned to the man, "Do you have any extra rooms?"

The man nodded, "Yeah, fortunately for you we have one left, but there is only one."
