A few hours ago my little brother came in and said 'Ella had her babies now.' O.O 'She what? Whereisshe didyouputherinthestall Elllllla! Where are yooou?' That was me. I found her out in the paster, her two babies already dry, and one of them standing already. Apparently, she had them a few hours ago, and we didn't notice anything was happening, because my mother is sick, so we were all running around taking care of her and my four younger siblings. After that rest of us came out and saw the kids, Mama and my youngest sister helped me get the to the barn, and then my older sister and I put them in the kidding stall. Then I helped the kids to nurse, (one of them, the girl - who I think is the older - can nurse on hew own now, but the boy still needs help) and then the kids had a nap while Ella's after-birth started coming out, and she ran 'round in circles, trying to eat it. I haven't got any pictuers of them yet, but when I do, I'll post some here.

Whaaa...?

Oh, cute. My mom used to have a baby cow calf whose mother abandoned her. Her name was Dolly and she had the biggest eyelashes there ever was. Dairy cows tend to have pretty eyelashes. ^^

Aww, cute! ^-^ I have a goat whose mother died, so I bottle-fed her, and now she thinks I'm her mother. She hasn't had her kids yet, but I can't wait! ^o^ Grandbabies!

It's a very small farm, only 3.3 acres, but it's a farm. We're planning on buying a lot more, so we can raise cows too, and horses and sheep, maybe. right now we have goats and chickens, and a cat whose going to have kttens... this wasn't supposed to happen... We don't know what we'll do with the kittens...

@Anti: Pigmies are cute! ^-^ Ella is an alpine, and her kids are half alpine, and nubian. The have cute floppy ears, and almost look like black and white toggenburgs. ^-^

You can have our 28 acres!
Not all of it is sheep; only a few pastures on one side of the house, but still...
Eighty sheep? xDDDDD

Aww I love baby animals! So cute!!!

I live in the suburbs, so not much chance of having farm animals. I had a couple chickens when I was little, but it wasn't quite legal. The neighbors said they didn't mind though, so it was alright. I've also had bunnies and a dog.

My uncle had a farm in the country and sometimes we would go visit. I love animals, but it would be so much work to take care of them all.

Baby animals are just adoreable in general. I don't think it really matters what kind they are. I wasn't old enough at the time but we have pictures of when our horse Pretty Girl was born. Soooo cute.

Nope, it's just a little tiny thing, only 3.3 acres.
And we have six - well, eight now - goats, lots of chicken running around the yard, and three guinnea fowl running around with them.
But we are trying to get more so we can raise a few dairy cows too.

Here are the pictures -

That's me, trying to help one of the kids nurse.

And the link for a movie my older sister made, shortly after we brought them back to the barn -

Aww I bet they are so cute!!! Congrats on the new little ones. Hope they grow up to be cute little goats.

My sister has a goat I think it is a boy... It is so mean it try's to chase you when you try to get out of the car to go in the house. My sister laughs all the time saying she has a guard goat instead of a guard dog lol.

I love goats. Can't say I'm a big fan of many other farm animals though, especially cows. Baby goats are just about the cutest things ever too.

We will, but we are having a lot of trouble picking out names for them. The best one I could think of was Katie and Skippy, exept the girl is the skippy one, so that wouldn't work.

That is really cute. I have been helping bottle feed a lot of different mammals a lot of my life. My two cats just died sadly, I bottle fed them both, one died because he was really old, and the other died a few days later from a heart malformity he had from birth that the vet hadn't caught with his checkups. (he only had a couple of them because he was still under a year). But it was still really rewarding for me to have bonded with them both that way, I felt like they were my family. Anyway, I am happy for you. :)

Aww, poor things. I have a cat that's pregnant. I don't know when she's going to have kittens, though.
