It's kind of a simple question, really, but I'll explain.
Obviously everyone goes through phases in their life. The question is, where are you on the big progression that marks your...progress? Are you living at home with mom and dad finishing high school? Are you out on your own making a living and loving it? Are you struggling to make ends meet in a minimum wage hellhole? College? Vocational school? Living off the government? You get the picture.

Right now, I'm working to try to move in with my husband. I currently live at home with my parents though, which kind of sucks, but there's not much to be done about it.

I'm still a teenager.
Living with my parents, working on getting my GED.
Can't wait until I can go to college.
I know what I want to do in life, but I still have a long journey ahead of me before I achieve it. :]

Well, I'm married, I'm living in my own place, paying my own rent.
I've already graduated university top of my class, with a degree in Creative Writing and English Literature, and I'm already pretty successful in my career as a free-lance writer.
In the future, I'd like to get at least one novel on the Best Sellers list, I'd like to have at least one screen-play picked up by a decent independant film company, I'd like to own my own house(preferably one with a pool  ) , and I'd like to pop out a few fat babies.

I'm a teenager who goes to a great High School (and I can never thank my parents enough for moving here)
I still have a couple of more years until college, but I'm planning on going. I have the money, and the means. I just have to wait until application time.
What I'm going to do in college? Now THAT I'm not sure of. I'm leaning towards a psychologist at the moment. I love helping people out in that way. If not that, probably an English teacher in China or Japan or France. I love different cultures, and I would really like to live somewhere else :) (although the US is decent)
My future? Well, I really would like to get married. But that'll happen after college, so I've got a ways to go. Kids are cool too. Not to many, though XD

I'm working full time and wondering if I'd be better off doing something else.
I'm working for my parents which has its good points. Work from home, know who I'm working with etc..
but also it's working for parents >.< and however much I love them I'm thinking we'd probably all love each other more if we weren't in each others face 24/7.
Also, as long as I'm working for them, I have no real incentive to move out and get a place of my own. Since we run the business from home (the home is our business, as it's a holiday complex), it's like we never get away from work. On call all the time and not really getting time to have a life.
I've been making tentative steps towards getting my own place, and even have an offer on one place (just waiting to hear back in the next couple of weeks) but it seems impractical to live elsewhere and work here...
So I guess I'm at the "Do I want to go try something different and possibly make a huge mistake or keep things as they are and possibly be making a huge mistake stage" o_0

I have a love of my life and things are very rocky right now which is causing a lot of drama between us. . .
I don't have a job anymore which is very stressful to me since i have a car and i have bills.
And i think thats about it. . . oh and my mom is being a bigger b**** then usual. . .

I'm 18 and finishing high school this year. I live with my grandparents, but I just call them my parents since they raised me 99.5% of my life.
I intend to go to a community college as well as get courses through an online college. So I can get a decent job probably in the medical field to support myself, but I'm not going to do anything that takes 6+ years of college to do. I'm not gonna be some career woman, I'd rather start my own family and be a stay at home mom if possible. But at least I'll always have training to get work to support myself/my family if need be.

I'm in a bad marriage with two wonderful kids and a crappy job. I'm currently looking for a full time job that pays a liveable wage, good luck right, so the kids and I can get the h**l out of here.

Young, ambitious, and broke.
My life has kind of been on pause for the past five months that I was forced to spend overseas, but I am moving home to California in a week. From there I will get a GED, driver's license, and a job, not necessarily in that order though. Apply to colleges and such. I plan to move out pretty much as soon as I turn eighteen in October.

Well, currently my girlfriend and I just had our first child a month and a half ago. We are struggling to get a better place, but we don't want to do the whole welfare thing. Everyone I have ever met that has gotten on welfare or anything like that hasn't been able to drag themselves out of it. Other than that things are actually going really good. Anyway, yeah. Not much else, my life is pretty boring.

I understand the stigma behind the whole "welfare" thing, but when it's used properly, it's a very useful and essential tool.
It's not designed to be a replacement for making your own way in the world, just a supplement to people who can't make ends meet, and a helping hand to people who are on hard times through no fault of their own, and if you look at it like that, there shouldn't be any problem about using it that way for a little bit.

Sadly, I am still a teenager, and I've yet to turn eighteen. There's only two more months until I finally graduate highschool. During my high school, though, I am also volunteering and working out in the real world for free so I'm not getting paid for anything that I do which sucks. There's a vocational class that I am also taking and some college course classes that I am taking to help me get ahead. I guess you could say I am a high school/college student at this moment. XD

Right now I'm in college. I still live at home because I don't have a job yet, but hopefully that will change sometime this year. I feel like I need to at least save up some money so I can leave eventually. Right now it's convenient to be at home though because my house is very close to my school, so it would be kind of silly to leave. But at the same time I want my own place. D: I might just save up and wait until my boyfriend is out of college though so maybe I can get him to help. XD

I personally have been tossed from the welfare office (and Walmart but we won't go in to that ) because at the time I was struggling to make ends meet but yet I had a job. It ended up being that I made $50 too much and they denied me. Needless to say I wasn't happy and started screaming about the junkies and crack whores that get welfare but decent people who actually needed it couldn't get it.
I think at this point in my life I have been through hell and back and have survived. Some lessons were harder learned than others but I am in a good spot now. I can buy my children pretty much anything they want (within reason). I can buy stuff for myself on a whim. I am not struggling to pay anything off. I have friends both online and off whom I adore and can't imagine life without.

Well Right now I am living with my dad. My mom past away so I am helping him get back on his feet. I have a little brother and sister I cook and take care of them some times. I am not in college yet but I plains on going to art school after art school, I am going to do cooking and maybe learn some more fashions. I love to sew and make costumes. I am 19 and in love I really want to start a family with him but not right now. I really want to move out and get my own place with him. I have to wait he is still in school. I know once I am on my own its going to be hard but I think I can do it.

There's no denying that the system can be (and often is) broken, but the point I was trying to make was that it shouldn't be dismissed simply because of the stigma.

I am 27 I will be 28 in August. I have been together with my husband for 10 years in August too. But we have our 8th wedding anniversary coming up this June. I am currently a stay at home mom. I have a beautiful 3 year old daughter. It took me four years of trying to have her and then they told me I would never have children. So I plan on enjoying every part of her growing up that I can and not missing anything.
I am happy with my life the only things I would change is I would like to have more kids *I have always wanted a big family* and to have my mom back she passed away in September of last year.

I'm in high school living with my family. I rely on them to support me, but I'm in the process of becoming independent. Or, well...I will be. I don't have a job or my license (God, I really need to go get that taken care of...) but I'm still at the age where I'm not ready to be on my own.
...Well, sort of. A lot of my friends are independent, but I'm just not ready to let go, yet.
