The next morning, the window seemed to hold the same light as the previous day. It sparkled in calmly, and quietly, in its normal gradient.
Danae lay smashed up against Reno again, since the bed wasn't the largest in the world; her mind not too worried about waking.
She had Tseng's blessing pretty much, to do as she pleased with Reno.. As long as it wasn't too terribly bad.
Rolling onto her other side, Danae was suddenly smacked in the face with a stream of light. Beautiful as it may have looked, Danae groaned, and hid her face under the blankets.
"I dunwannagehttup.." She sort of said. It was mostly slurred together, but it worked.
"Mmmm.."

Hiding her face deeper under cover, she let out a whimper, and the pulled the pillow from under Reno's head, and over her own.
She was still obviously tired.

"Well, and a good morning to you too." Rude chuckled from across the room.
"Aside from the sudden overdose of UV there, how are you feeling?" It must have been sometime later in the night when Rude had returned, but as always he was up and ready to go.

Reno however, was soud asleep, not bothered by the light trickling in onto his face, little whistles coming from his nose as his chest rose and fell.

Groaning, Danae poked her head out from the covers, and glared at Rude.
"Yeah yeah, be mean now.. Just wait.. I'll get you one day."
Nodding, Danae squinted from her place, and pointed at Rude.
"Besides, me and Reno had our little talk about you last night."
She'd have to come up with something rude, and witty to say now, just to stomp on the ever maddening Rude.

Her arm falling to the side of the bed, Danae yawned, and shuffled back into the covers. It was too early, whatever time it was.

He crossed his arms and cocked his head.
"Oh? And how do you propose to do anything with your head under the pillow like you are?" He smirked.
"Let me guess.....it had something to do with my 'bald' head?" For being such a little twit....Danae was right fun to pester...especially when she'd just woke up.

Pursing her lips, Danae was beginning to get a bit fed up with Rude in general..
Hmm..
Climbing from the bed, she hobbled over to him, and plopped down on his lap, just like that.
"No, not your bald head.." She said softly, taking one of his hands. Yes, she was being mean, and seductive. Thus, her ways of being mean. It felt a bit odd though, considering how much larger Rude's hands were than her own.
She just hadn't paid much attention a couple of days ago.

Looking up at Rude, she sort of smirked, gripping his shirt.
"You really shouldn't be so mean Rude," she cooed at him softly.

He tried hard not to smirk, he really did...but at last...it got the better of him and he outright snickered, standing, to drop Danae, although gently, into the floor on her bottom.
"Well, I'll try to remember that from now on....and since you're up, and I have to go, why don't you wake up sleeping beauty over there before he sucks that line of drool down his throat and drowns." He shook his head and grabbed his coat on his way out.
"This has been a fun morning." He noted to himself as he walked down the hall....and while his rounds were going to be a little lonely for a while....this certainly made up for it in spades...he hoped Danae stayed as long as she could.

Pouting, Danae crossed her arms, and stuck her tongue out at Rude as he left her on the floor.
"Meanie!" She yelled after him. Of course, it wouldn't have helped her anyway.

Getting to her feet, careful, Danae hobbled back over to the bed, and lay back down next to Reno.
"Wake up, sleepy head," she giggled, pushing the covers from his upper body.
Reno looked quite hilarious while he slept, like a child too. Maybe that was why he was so cute all of the time.. He was so silly, and childish. Just like Danae.

"Come onnnnn!" She whined, tugging on one of his arms. "Get up lazyyyy!"

Crawling on top of him gently, she started poking his face. Yes, very childish.
"UPPPP!"

Reno mumbled something inchoherent and wrinkled his face against the onslaught that Danae's finger waged on his face.
"Nnnnn..." He groaned and slowly.....VERY slowly, one ruby eye opened and looked about.
"Whnn id in? Her a fir?" A translation of his odd slurred language would have been 'What is it? There a fire?'
He sat up a little and rubbed his eyes while yawning.
"Whaf are you doing up Danai?" He said through the yawn.

Popping a kiss on Reno's neck, Danae crawled off, and stole the place where Reno's head was.
"Mine," she claimed.
Pondering how to tell him about her little attempt at crushing Rude forever, she sighed. "The sun is evil, and didn't want me to sleep. And then Rude helped."

Wrapping her arms around Reno's waist, Danae his from the sun again. It seemed to be following her or something, TRYING to make her angry.
"And then I cam to wake up you. Rude already left.. So, I came and got you."

Releasing Reno, she pulled the blanket back up over her head again.
"There, that was about how things looked five minutes ago."

Reno let out a groan and flopped forward, landing on the edge of the bed.
"They tend to do that." He agreed.
He snuggled into the warmth of the blanket at the bottom of the cot and sighed deeply into the folds of his favorite (albeit worn) blanket.
"If that's how things were five minutes ago, why couldn't they just stay that way?" An early riser Reno was not.

Still hiding slightly, Danae shrugged.
"I told you, Rude started bugging me. He started talking and whatever. I'd been well on my way back to sleep when he interfered."

Completely uprooting the covers, Danae scooted around a bit, trying to find a comfortable position for her side.
"Dammit Reno. Promise to never let me get shot again.. kay?"

Her hand searched around, and found one of Reno's ankles. She picked it up, and shook his leg a few times, before latching onto it, like she did every other part of his body.
She was so out of it, clearly.

((XDDD Luckliy I get to sleep in till 10 everyday, so it's only a pain when my parents wake me up when they go to work.))

"I will if you never let me go out after your shooters again." He looked rolled onto his side, looking back at where Danae had latched onto his leg and chuckled. He took hold of hers, and bit into her ankle gently.
"Girl," He said indignatly.
"I'd like to think that I'm a better place to snuggle than my leg." He smiled and sat up unhooking her arms, turning to lay the right way.
"There..." He said wrapping her up.
"Much better."

"Ow!" Danae had whined when Reno bit her leg. Of course it hadn't hurt. If it had, she would have jerked her leg away, and she didn't.

Wrapping herself around Reno again, she smiled, closing her eyes.
"I'll take anything I can get from you," she said with a laugh.
Of course she would. He made her crazy, duh. Why do you think she acted like this around him? Because he filled her with an energy she'd never had before.

((Why? Because I get to sleep in late? XDDD Don't, I get up at six every morning, I just happen to be able to go back to sleep quickly. 'Quickly' being about fifteen minutes or so XDD at most))

"Aw, how sweet." He teased.
"As long as it isn't my wallet or my identification...I kind of need those. Anything else, however, you can have....." He rested his head on hers and wondered how long he could fake his injury after he'd healed completly....he could certainly get used to this.

Laughing slightly, Danae only shrugged.
"I'll try my best.. Although I was talking more about body parts.. A wallet could work nicely as well.

Opening her eyes, she stared up at the ceiling. She hated this. Being hurt, that is. It didn't exactly feel great to be shot while running, and then hit the pavement.. Ugh.

He stared straight ahead for a moment and then looked at her seriously.
"I'm going to try and figure out what you meant by that later...for right now." He flopped an arm over her and sighed, a huge smile forming on his mouth.
"This...this right here....is HEAVEN..."
"I can only hope that those JENOVA rejects don't rear their ugly heads again at least for a month or two...I don't think either of us can handle another run in with them for a while."

Looking at Reno, Danae couldn't help but to smile.
The little Jenova puppets did need to back off. It would allow for her to get to know Reno a bit better than she did now.. Which was not very well when she thought about it.

"Heaven, huh?" She asked, turning to face him.
Smiling a bit more, Danae closed her eyes, and pressed her lips to Reno's, in a very soft manner. Just in case his lips were bruised of something. Just in case..
Kissing him again, Danae gave him short, and soft kisses, one by one.
Nothing too special. Just... Heaven.

Reno paused, working his jaw back and forth a bit as if tasting the inside of his mouth for some oddly attractive sweetener that had just caused Danae's actions.
"Hmm..." He smiled.
"Too much more of that and it really WILL be heaven."

(Mad. My laptop won't take internet. XD)

Smiling, Danae curled into Reno's arms, and closed her eyes.
"Mm-hmm.." She said softly.
It was nice to just relax like this. Just lay around, and cuddle. Of course, she knew all of this would be short lived.. But she could dream, right? Right.
Sighing, Danae sort of turned her back to Reno, and cuddled into the pillow more. It appeared as though she was trying to go back to sleep.

((BOO!!! What's the point of having a lappy if it won't take Nets? Will be on for short time tonight, got lots of work to do for RSOM XDD))

As if he could look anymore pitiful than he already did...Reno pouted.
"Aww, ow, I'm not bleeding but ow." He sat up and sighed.
"Do you really want to go to sleep now? What are you narcoleptic?" He really didn't think that was the case, but then again, how could he suspect otherwise...that sigh was loud enough that anyone that wanted to could have heard it.

Flipping onto her back, Danae smiled up at Reno. "What?" She asked him in a sarcastic tone. "Do you want me to just screw you right now or something?"
Giggling, she reached up, and pulled Reno down on top of her, kissing his lips roughly. No, she would not screw him now! That was just disgusting. There were cameras EVERYWHERE. Probably in the bathrooms too.

((XDD I know, I know, but if I don't get it started then I'm never going to finish and then I'll never get my submission sent in.))

"NO...that might be preffered, but I know not to say that out loud...." He smiled.
"I just want to know what made you turn over so quickly." Not that he would ever bother with an answer to that question...not after finding himself jerked onto her side.
"Hello!" He managed before getting cut off. He pulled back after a moment......or five, and smiled.
"Hee...." It faded.
"You know what...." He looked down and put a hand on his stomach, making a face.
"I'm hungry." How like him...with all the commotion that had gone on..he'd completely forgotten to eat.

(I know, I know! XD)

Smiling, Danae wrapped her arms around Reno's neck, as if to make him stay down with her.
"No you aren't," she said, her own stomach suddenly roaring.
Yes, she was starving. She never finished her food yesterday. She was too worried about Reno. And then, he went all stupid on her, and whatever. She hadn't had an opportunity to think about being hungry, and now, she was remembering it.
"I guess I am too," she said softly "I didn't eat because of you you know." She smiled all the same though. She didn't mind the sickness, she'd live.

((XDD I'll be leaving about 10 then alright?))

"Oh I'm not, eh?" He poked her belly.
"And that was an angry Chocobo too wasn't it?" He kissed her again and sighed.
"I know, I know, it's all my fault!" He feigned overdramatic sorrow at this news and he held his heart sobbing into his arm.
"Oh forgive this wretched being!" He lifted his head and stood, bowing to her with his arm outstretched to the door.
"As pentance, will you allow this lowly being to treat you to..." He'd lost track of time.
"Whatever it happens to be at the moment?"

(NO!? D: That's only 20 more minutes!)

Giggling, Danae took Reno's hand, and leaned into him gently. Of course, everything had to be gentle now. She would either do one of two things; bruise his side, or his ego.
"I would love to," she said, getting on her toes, to kiss his cheek.
Her side still hurt something severe... But it must have been nothing compared to poor Reno.
He'd really taken a beating... Danae felt like she got let off easy.
