He smiled.
"Nice." He turned and opened the door for her.
"Let's see what's leftover in the commons."
He headed out behind Danae, feeling a slight twinge that they would have to settle for TURK rations if that was all that was left....after all this...there was no way that Teseng was going to let either of them out of the compound for a while....well....at least until they were better than they were.....That made him think back...Rude...he would be out on rounds alone.....Reno looked off in the direction of the garage. He'd better not die out there...Reno narrowed his gaze....it was an odd relationship that they had...he vowed to himself that if Rude got as injured as he did...he was going to kill the massive bodyguard, and then bring him back just to kill him again for making him kill him in the first place.

Smiling slightly, Danae sort of walked where Reno led head. She was in no rush to get anywhere fast. Hey, as long as she got food, she was good to go.
She did also however, worry a slight about Rude. He was out there all by himself, doing God knows what.. It was sad to think of him all by himself, no Reno to bother him.
"You think he's okay..?" she asked quietly. She was worried, no doubt about it.
Even if he was just some old, bald dude who bugged the crap out of her..

Reno turned in the hall and shoved a hand in his pocket. He smiled..gently, not his usual sarcastic self.
"Worried about Rude are we?" He nodded and sighed.
"I guess....he's not as reckless, I guess you'd say, as me...but that's twice now...twice that we've had to deal with JENOVA'S children within city limits...that's....a little disturbing." He grew quiet, but then shook himself and laughed it off.
"But then again we're talking about Rude here! If he sees anything, he's going to play the good boy and report in before doing anything." He chuckled and turned back around, waving his hand motioning for Danae to come on.
"He'll be fine, unlike my stomach if I don't get something in there. I feel like it's eating my insides already!"

Sort of frowning, Danae only shrugged on with Reno.
"It's okay to worry Reno," she told him, watching her feet. "I mean...They like to mess with people. He could get hurt, really badly, just like you. Or what's worse, they could get sick of pretending, and actually kill someone. Rude."
Her eyes suddenly shooting up to meet Reno's, it was evident she was about to cry... again.
"What would you do if they killed him Reno? Would you just shrug it off, and act like you don't care? Just treat him like you do every other day...? Or would you wish that maybe you hadn't made fun of him so much... Wish that maybe you'd been a bit nicer, rather than calling him bald all the time."
Someone had take her sentimental pills this morning.

Reno backed away....slowly.
"Danae....are you sure your alright?" He quirked a eyebrow and sighed, running a hand through his hair.
"Look....to answer you...HONESTLY, I'd probably.....accept it....I mean, I'd be sad yeah, but...as a TURK...I guess I'd been expecting his...Teseng's and Elena's deaths...for a while...even my own..I'm not going to resist it...and I'll know when it's my time..but for now...we live as best we can...and have fun while we're at it."

(*hisses*)

Rolling her eyes, Danae wiped at dry tears, and sped away from Reno. He really knew nothing about caring for people. He was so heartless! It was sad, that he didn't really care if the people he supposedly cared about died.
"Would you do the same if I died!?" She demanded, a good ten feet ahead of him. "Would you just shrug it off and be sad!?"

((Because I'm late? T^T GOMENNNNN!!!! I let Sonic know, but that's because I have her number. I was out celebrating a friend's Birhtday T^T I'MMMM SOOORRRRYYYY!!!!! *Reno pupy face* Forgives?))

He stared ahead of her, not blinking for a good five minutes.
"No.' He said at last.
"Danae...you're no TURK, Death isn't part of your job description. For us, it's a fact of life, we kill and are killed in return, that's how we live, you on the other hand, are free from the blood that stains all of our hands. So, no, I wouldn't just shrug it off and be sad....I'd....I'd be out for blood if you were killed."

Rolling her eyes again, it was obvious that Danae was just a tiny, tiny bit angry about the way he was..
"So what!? That doesn't mean you don't stand up for the people you care about!"
Turk or not, every single person in the building had feelings, and every single person had a life. They all felt pain, and could get their feelings hurt. What made Turks so different?!

Reno's eyes were hollow now. They were the eyes of a killer...one who'd seen death a thousand times and shook his hand a few times in between.
"Danae....we EXPECT to die. We smile when Death comes around, he's like an old friend....is that so hard to understand. We know it's going to happen one day, ALL of us. When it comes...that's it...for our purpose...we....we are expendable."

Stomping her foot, Danae stopped in the hall, no fully crying.
"Oh my God Reno! Do you think that this is your purpose!? Do you think that this stupid building, and these- damn people, Tseng, being a Turk, everything! Do you think this is your purpose Reno!? YOU THINK THIS IS IT!??!"

Smacking Reno in the face suddenly, Danae even pushed him. She was hysterical with this. What made being a Turk so much more different? So they killed people!? It wasn't that big of a change.

((Fine! T^T *commits Seppuku and dies!* there no more Reno.))

"My purpose...is to fulfill a contract, made between me and my employer, Rufus Shin-Ra." He smiled kind of sadly and sighed.
"I'd like to think that this wasn't all there is...but...I can't leave...not for a while yet." He didn't flinch as her hand crashed over his face, to TURKS pain was nothing more than a slight discomfort....and it didn't bother him all that much anymore....there were times, yes, like his ribs...but that was all in his mind anyway.
"Do you hate me now?" He asked quietly.

Instead of answering his question, Danae wiped at her face more.
"Reno, why are you so stupid!?" He just didn't get it. "You have a life outside of Shinra, Reno. How can you not see that..?"
It was clear she was calming down dramatically..
Putting a hand gently to the cheek she'd slapped, Danae stared up at him, her eyes pleading.
"Don't you think that you're meant for something better...? Do you not think I'm better..?"
Moving her hand from his cheek, she stared up at him. She was terribly upset. It was terrible; another disaster.

((Like helping me commit suicide? XDDD Oh well, I suppose that you're allowed that. *hands you a Spork* At least let me go like I want to. On my own SPORK.))

Reno smiled, like he'd never been serious, like he'd never been slapped....like Danae wasn't crying....it was amazing how he could smile no matter how he felt.
"Not for a while Love. I'm not allowed to quit here until I can retire." He took her hand and kissed the back of it gently.
"Of course you are, Lord knows you're better company than these cold unfeeling walls. But I still have an obligation....and as much as I'd like to leave and never have to worry about losing freinds again...I'd rather not end up like Lucia."

Wrapping her arms around Reno, Danae closed her eyes, and tried not to cry.
"Reno I know.. But.... What happens when they decide to terminate you..? Am I supposed to just go on and act like you were never real..?"

Looking up to him now, the tears fell down her cheeks gently. "I can't just forget like you can, Reno.."

Again that slow, soft smile, many faceted was the TURK Reno.
"No love, you aren't supposed to pretend that I was never real....but I'd hope that you'd cry a little for my memory, say a prayer or two that I made it back into the Lifestream alright, and then keep me in your own memories happily." He looked off to one side thoughtfully.
"Besides...I don't plan on dying anytime soon, so there's no need to start the party early."

Crying still, Danae caved into Reno's chest. "I could never forget you Reno.."
She never would.. No matter how much she wanted to ever, she knew that it wasn't a possibility. She loved him.
Wrapping her arms around his neck, she kissed his lips softly. She dreamed, hoped prayed, and wished that he would never die.
"I love you.."

((You know that took me all of two seconds to figure out what you typed XDDD For a second there I thought it was gibberish XDD))

With that smile still plastered on his mouth, he kissed her back, gently and calmly, he wondered what in the world made women cry so much? In the back of his mind he made a note to ask Elena about that later.....it was just too weird seeing Danae cry...weirder that it was over him.

Still holding to Reno, she was beginning to stop crying. Reno had a way of making her senile one minute, and happy the next.
"You're going to kill me one day," she told him, smiling slightly. "You know that, right..?"

He grinned...that wide annoying grin that drove normally sane people mad.
"I'd rather not, if it's all the same to you, you'd haunt me longer than most people...and I really can't sleep at night when there's someone watching me....especially if they're dead you know? Just kinda creeps me out."

Sadly enough, Danae loved Reno's crooked, huge grin. She absolutely love it.. It was one of the cutest things she'd ever seen.
"Yes Reno, I haunt every step you took, and then I'd sing to you in your sleep." Dana could actually sing quite nicely. But in ghost world, it would be a horrible racket that drove people mad.

He shuddered openly.
"Guuhhh...knowing my luck you'd be one of those haunting voices at night that sung me to my doom! I can see it now, you'd lure me outside with your singing and then get me run over by a car." He smiled then hugging her up tight.
"But, I'd get to see you real quick then wouldn't I?"

(WRONG. YOU FAIL. XD)

Giggling slightly, Danae nodded.
"That's the idea.."
Though that was the supposed idea, she'd never do anything like that to Reno, even if it was possible.
"I'd get to you asap. Otherwise, what would be the point silly?"

((So long as it wasn't EPIC FAIL, I'd have to cry then XDD))

He thought a minute and then another more...finally turning to Danae and smiling.
"To satisfy any creepy stalker urges you might have had, you'd be in my room watching me sleep and I'd never know it." He lay his head on hers and breahted out in a sigh.
"How in the world did we ever get onto this subject anyway? I thought we were talking about Rude?"

(EPICFAIL! *points*XD)

Laughing again, Danae sort of shrugged.
"WELLLLL, we did start out on Rude actually, who, by the way, needs to find a girl.."
Laughing again, Danae snorted. Dear God, no.
She instantly stopped and covered her mouth like before. It was so ugly, and disgusting sounding! She sounded just like a pig!

((HOCRAP!! I LAUGH! I laugh in your general direction!! XDDD No srsly, that made me chuckle out loud which is dangerous for me XDD))

"Good luck on that, if his cheery demeanor doesn't scare them, his hair surely will." He smiled, trying his best not to laugh..but it was so blinkin' cute! He patted her head and smiled.
"It's alright, you're adorable you know that?" He snickered.
"At least now I know I can make you laugh again without having to resort to self inflicted violence."
