Danae sadly enough, ignored what he'd done. She just sort of cried more. And then finally, she was able to gasp out a few words.
"There's a.... a body..." And that was all she could get out before gasping out more. She couldn't breathe.
There was a body, under Reno's bed...

((I'D DO IT!! XDDDD I know that might not be the 'technical' thing to do in the situation, but hey, whatever gets her to STOP SCREAMING...
Teseng: MAIIII EEEEAAAARRRRRSSSSS Make it stop!!! MAKE IT STOP!!!))

Teseng's eyes widened and he gripped her shoulders tightly.
"A body? did you see who it was? Where? Talk to me Danae! Spit it out!"

"U-under the bed..." That was all she could get out before hyperventilating more. All she knew, was that it was a man.. A dead man... And that his nose, was what was bumping her through the thin mattress.

((Ah, gomen, gomen.))

Teseng sighed and shoved her over to Reno.
"Where did she go last?" He asked digging under his desk for his pistol.
"My room." He repiled.
Ka-Chack!Teseng let the slide snap shut and he glared ahead of him.
"Then that's where we start." He motioned for Reno and Danae to follow, and slowly, Reno walked with her, whispering to her that everything was going t be alright.

(I didn't know WHAT he was doing. XD)

Danae gripped to Reno tightly. God. Why did stuff like this always happen to her!? And this by far, was the absolute worst...
She cried harder into Reno's chest.. Well, this was what she got for involving herself with a Turk, wasn't it...?

Reno, still holding onto Danae, paused with Teseng outside the room, Teseng was flat against the wall, and looked over to Danae, then with a nod, moved quietly into the room.
Reno held her outside while he searched the covers. He finally came out, his face white, and his gun held in a limp grip.

(Well, unless Elena suddenly had a sex change, it's not her. XDDD I clearly said the word, 'man'. XD And no, I love Rude too much to do that to him! It actually was just some random person.. I hadn't put any thought into it... Hmmmm...)

Danae in the mean time, had her arms wrapped around Reno's neck, and was crying into his chest. For once, she had an excellent reason to be crying about something. She just found a dead body, under Reno's bed.
Perfect...

"Reno..." Teseng said, his voice quiet.
"This time....they've hit too close to home....something....has to be done."

Danae still clung to Reno. Tseng's words couldn't mean anything good...
She didn't want to leave Reno.. She loved him, right..?
But there was absoultely now way she was going in that room anymore...

Reno sighed and with a nod, turned away with Danae, the room would have to be cleaned, sterilized, and searched....even then, he doubted that they could sleep in there.
"Come on Danae.....let's go see if we can get you anything to drink..." In other words 'you really shouldn't be here, let's go somewhere quiet.'
He turned her away from the room and directed her to the cantina.

Danae still clung to Reno. She didn't know anything now..
She didn't know what was going to happen... What would happen to her and Reno?
What was going to happen to everyone..? Anyone..
It was all so... horrbile..

In the Commons, Reno left Danae at a chair and went to go heat up two cups of..whatever was strong enough to calm her down, he poured a little of the liquor that was available into her cup and let it seep through before handing it to her.
"There you go, that should take some of the edge off of all this."

(Whateverrrrrr. XD)

Danae pushed away the cup, and hid her face in her folded arms.
She wasn't crying as hard now, but it was obvious she was stll upset about all of this...
"What's going to happen, Reno?" She asked him. She was just... Worried..

"Nothing if you keep on like this, you've got to calm down." He pushed her cup gently back at her, and motioned with his head for her to drink it. He took his own sip and sighed, sitting across from her.
"After an investigation...which will likely lead to the conclusion that we've all come to....I'm not sure what we'll do...but they know where you are, they're getting violent, and dangerously brazen....you can't stay here...not anymore...we can't protect you."

What...?
Her head suddenly raised, and she looked at Reno.
"What....?" That was all she could think about... What. That one word, what? Just.. they couldn't protect her anymore...?
What..?

Reno nodded.
"You can't stay here...simple as that..." He looked over at her, his eyes sad.
"I don't know if I can stay with you after this....you might have to go on the run....alone, while we fight them.....or at the very least hold them in the city till you're far enough out." He placed his hand on top of hers.
"If that happens.....no matter what, don't you dare come back here. You keep safe, and keep running, I don't want you to die."

(Aww, poor her. :( )

New tears slid down her face almost instantly, and she stood up. "No.." She said softly, realizing all of what was happening, all at once..
"No." She said louder this time, standing up.
"NO!"
She slammed down both of her fists, and sobbed. "No, Reno, no!" She was in no way going to let this happen.. She couldn't, no!

((I know! ))

Reno sighed and stood, wrapping her in his arms to calm her fit, she could hit him all she wanted...but he really had to save the poor table.
"Danae....promise me?" His voice was soft, uncharacteristicly loving and tender.
"Please?" It broke trying to get that word out, and he pressed her head against him, her tears soaking his shirt.
"Please love, you have to live."

(OH YEAH! XD I'm moving this weekend, woot! XD)

Danae wouldn't hit Reno for this. Tseng deserved it anyway..
But she did however, try to pull away from him.
"No," she cried. "I can't, no!" She would rather die, than have to go back to everything normal, and plain.
"No, Reno! No!"

He let her pull back just enough that he could look at her. Reno's face, usually so full of confidence and humor, now was pale and drawn, fear glanced off the sides of his eyes and he sighed, shaking his head.
"I'm not sure if any of this is going to happen...but PLEASE Danae...I can fight and live, much better if I know that you're somewhere safe...will you promise me to stay alive if things get hairy?"

(Like, right up the street. XD)

"No," she told him. She couldn't, and wouldn't.
"I love you, Reno!" And with that, she threw herself back into his arms.
It figured that something like this would come along to screw things up.
"I can't..."

Looking up to him, still crying, she shook her head. "I just can't.."

He sighed and just held onto her, letting her cry, he'd try again later..but for now...he let emotion overrule common sense.
He shook his head and talked softly to her, telling her that she was going to be alright, and that they still didn't know what was going to happen, and then, when all words failed him, he still talked, calm nothings that he hoped would calm Danae down....and stop her tears....for all that was HOLY he hated seeing women cry....it...it just wasn't right....especially not when they were that much prettier when they smiled.

Really, as long as she was honest, Danae wasn't listening to Reno. She didn't care about what he had to say anymore. It wasn't making it better. It was making everything worse..
Because in fact, she knew everything wasn't going to be alright. It was going to be hell. He knew it, and she knew it..
There was just no avoiding it..

"Danae..." Reno said after a while.
"After everything is said and done in our room....do you want me to go get your bags? We'll probably relocate to the Med wing..just for the time being..."

Danae sort of nodded quietly. What else was there to do, really?
Maybe if anything, they could go back to her apartment.
But she very much knew, that that one wasn't happening. It would be over Tseng's dead body.. Which she wished would just go ahead and happen..
She wanted to be alone with Reno though.. As much as she could be.
