Danae pulled the covers up to her neck, smiling and giggling like a little girl. Reno's imitations were something special, that was for sure.
"Good night Rude," she called up, only to get another hand gesture.

Giggling again, Danae turned back to Reno, smiled widely, and then turned her back towards him. That was her version of goodnight for him.
Only he deserved the smiling one.

But she didn't sleep, she stared into space, her stomach filled with butterflies as she though of who was behind her back.
She felt like a kid again, a school girl with a silly crush..
Maybe that's all it is, a crush..

Elena lay there in the dark and sighed. If Teseng knew what she'd done...oh boy, oh well. She turned over and closed her eyes.
"Better to beg for forgivness, than ask permission." She murmured before falling into a dreamless sleep.

Rude didn't snore...but his breath came in soft whistles when he slept which was really uncommon in men, that and the fact that he'd learned to live with Reno's snoring....that was a feat in and of itself, the redhead, not thouroughly asleep with his arm over Danae's side, snored loud enough to vibrate the metal frame on the bed, it wasn't any wonder his dreams were weird if he had them at all...anyone with that kind of sleep disorder had to have an outlet somewhere.

[time skip woo!]

Poor Danae. Oh, she had slept well. She rolled over several times, eventually ending up smashed against Reno. And she had been so tired, she hadn't even heard the snoring.
Who knew what time it was when she woke up. All she knew, was that sun was filtering in through a window, and that was never good.
Blinking slightly, she realized where she was, and scrambled from the bed.
"Shit!" She yelled as most of the covers went with her, causing her to fall.
"I'm dead!"
Yanking herself free from the covers, Danae suddenly grabbed the handle of the door, and swung it open, ready to run back to Elena's.
But to her despair, there was Teseng, arms crossed, and angry.

(Does the cubicle even have windows..? If not, oh well. XD)

"OW!" Reno was startled awake as he fell out into the floor smashing his head on the side of the bed, he sat upright cursing under his breath hodling his tender head.
"I'msorryI'msorryI'msorryI'msorry!!" Elena stood outside in the hall bowing over and over, and over...and over.....and over.
Teseng sighed.
"Didn't you notice her when she left?" He turned to Danae.
"And you, don't you understand how much danger you're in? When I put Elena in charge of you I did it for a REASON." He turned back.
"And it was not so that you could let her go galavanting around Shin-Ra!"
"I'm truely sorry Teseng, I realize how much of this is my fault."

Looking back at Reno and Rude, and then to Elena, Danae looked down.
"I'm sorry.. I just.. It's not Elena's fault.. I stole her map, and snook out while she was asleep. I got lost, and Reno found me.. He didn't want to wake Elena up, so I stayed here.."

Hopefully, this was as convincing as she thought it was.
She couldn't bear for everyone else to get in trouble because of her though, especially Reno and Elena. Now Rude..meh.

"It was all my fault. If you want to throw me out, then throw me out, but please don't punish them for something they didn't do.."

Teseng sighed, slapping his forehead with a hand and pointed up into a corner. There sat a camera...as pretty as you please...and the red light was on.
"Are you all stupid or something?" He said with a groan.
He looked over to Danae again and looked her up and down.
"I'm not going to do anything...yet, you're still our primary focus...until we figure out why those two were so intent on either taking you or killing you, you're not leaving here. As for you three..." Reno and Rude had stepped outside the door, scratching and yawning, not really getting the whole situation yet.
"Just.....just go on....I don't have the paitence to deal with you right now."

Closing her eyes, Danae craned her neck up.
Well, she tried, and failed.. At least she was stupid.
Now everyone would pay for her slip up, nice.
Instead of speaking though, she walked back over to the bed, and plopped down, staring blankly at the floor.
As usual, she ruined everything.

She pulled her knees to her chest, staring down still, as if trying not to cry. Or maybe she was trying to cry. Either way it was difficult to tell.

Danae why are you so stupid? You should have never even gone with Reno and Rude yesterday. Everyone would have been happy. Now everyone is in trouble, just dandy!

Elena sighed...she knew what this was...Danae...might have needed to be alone for a little while, but since they couldn't afford it...she grabbed hold of Rude's arm.
"Rude could you come with me for a while? There was something in the Garage I wanted you to look at."
"Wait, what?"
"Just come on." Reno started sleepily after them, but she turned and gave him a sharp look.
"Sempai, you should stay here and look after Danae, after all, she still needs to be protected.
He looked back and then, as if seeing her cry for the first time, looked back with a wild face as if to say 'Are you SERIOUS?' Elena looked at him pointedly and he sighed, scratching his head.
"Fiiinnne." He said.
He moved inside and stood against the doorframe and smirked.
"Hey there...what's all this for? It's not fair if you cry on me."

Glancing up at him slowly, Danae puffed out her bottom lip.
"I got you in trouble Reno.."
She could cry. She wanted to. But she wouldn't, not now..
"It's all my fault, and then they have cameras.."
Flopping into the bed, she hid her face in the pillows.
"It's all my fault!"

When Danae was growing up, she had a lot of situations like this, where she had gotten friends in trouble for things Little things, like this.
Every time, she was blamed. And every time, someone else to the hits for her.
She didn't want this to happen anymore, and now it was. History was repeating itself. Now, only more so.

"So?" Reno shrugged.
"You think this is the first time Teseng's yelled at me? Elena or Rude? Hardly. And it certainly won't be the last." He smiled.
"Do you know why I was in that bar that first night? I told you that it was a bad place right? So why was I there when there were so many better places uptown?"

Shrugging, Danae waited for an answer.
Even though Reno seemed to be somewhat trying, she still felt so horrible.
"I don't know.. Why were you there?"
Looking up from her pillow, she focused on Reno now.

"I was there to get over three days of house arrest. You see....we TURKS can't 'retire' early...we do...and we don't live long enough to enjoy it. One of ours got out of here just a leetle shy of her 'saftey net'...by about fifteen years. She was supposed to...to have..well..you know." He drew a finger across his neck and stuck his tounge out.
"But you know me...being the big softie...I let her go...Rude did too...so we got shoved in two little cubicles that make this one seem like the Taj Mahal, and we sat there...for three days. I about went nuts. So I went down there looking for a fight, for something, just..something to get my mind off everything, Teseng didn't do too much...I think he's come to realize that stuff like that's going to be an everyday occurrence with me."

(Hehe, okay. Yeah, I need to sleep too. I WILL EAT YOU MORE THURSDAY!)

Danae smiled slightly.
"That was nice of you both.."
Pulling the covers back over he body, she smiled, and patted the bed.
"Care to join me?"
Of course she would go back to sleep!
She didn't get to sleep as long as she'd wanted, because of the sun, and worrying, and all that.
But now, it didn't seem to matter if they got in trouble anymore. Besides, sleeping wasn't a bad thing, right?
It wasn't like Danae, or Reno would do anything constructive. Well, at least Reno wouldn't.
And Danae probably didn't know how to do anything around there. So all in all, they were good.

Reno smiled.
"Not really...." He let his smile fade a little.
"It might have been better for her if she'd just have died...we have our orders to terminate her if we see her again."
"Nah." He said with a wave of his hand.
"I'm up now, can't go back to sleep after a wake up call like that, besides, I'd just prefer to watch you sleep, all stalker-like." He chuckled, but sat beside her on the edge of the bed nonetheless.

Sort of frowning, Danae grabbed Reno by the shoulders, and pulled him backwards with her.
"We don't have to sleep." She joked.
Of course it was a joke, or was it?
Yeah, a joke.

Smiling at Reno, she ruffled his already destroyed hair, and sort of curled around him.
"Well I don't know what you were talking about, but thank you.."
Looking up towards the ceiling, she continued.
"Thanks for letting me stay over last night.. It was nice."

((Ummm....school finals killed me? That's right! I'MA GHOOOSSSSSTTTT!!!!! HAAAUUUUNNNTTTINNNNGGGG THHHHHISSSS CCCOOOMMMMPPPUUUUTTTTEEEERRRRR!!! :P))

"WAH!" Reno fell back and flopped out, letting his limbs fall where they would.
"Heh. With the way you're up and about, that doesn't even seem a possibility." He turned his head to face Danae and he flicked her nose lightly.

"Don't strain too hard then...you shouldn't worry about it anyway." He slid an arm around her shoulders, feeling this uncontrollable need to protect..to serve...a higher purpose than being a TURK.
"Don't uh...don't mention it."

Allowing Reno to have her shoulders, Danae closed her eyes.
She wouldn't sleep now, this beat sleep.
Actually, most everything beat sleep now that she thought about it.
Even getting flicked on the nose.

Opening them after a moment, she popped a very random kiss on Reno's cheek.
Just another one of her quirks he'd seen the previous day. Only last time, Rude had received one too.
That day would have been so much better if they didn't have to attack those little Sephiroth clones.
But whatever. It turned out fine she guessed.

((Well one of those days Mene was down and updating, I can't remember what I was doing the rest of the time....*ish shot for lame excuse* OW!))

Reno flushed a very bright pink, and looked over.
"W-What was that for?" He tried to act nonchalant about it, but the fact of the matter was....it...it was actually quite embarrasing....but nice.
He chuckled and squuezed her tight for a moment, really wondering how to react.

( D: I think it was actually a week. *lied*)

"Just because," Danae told him.
And that was about all she could say without saying too much.
And too much ruined things.

Scooting her head against Reno's should, she smiled and poked his stomach.
"You didn't like it?"

((*glares at you while bleeding* And for that I get shot!? *turns off screen* RENO!!! PUT THAT PISTOL DOWN!))
"Uh, no! I mean yes..I mean..." He fumbled around trying to make sense out of his brain, finally coming up with:
"Yes, I liked it..but I'm confused as to what it's for....I didn't do anything did I?"

(You don't love me anymore, I can tell. D: )

Laughing a little bit, Danae couldn't help but to turn a little red.
Well, at least Reno "liked it".
Kissing him again, this time, it was a bit more soft.
"I kiss you when I feel like it."

Well, it was the truth.

((Oh I love you...*runs off screen* *sounds of wrestling can be heard*......*runs back on*
In fact there's a nice wrapped TURK waiting for you just off screen XDD *ish bleeding*...And I just now noticed YOU HAVE A SPORK! *bows* All hail the mighty spork!....*ish being random LOL*))

"Oh..." ...No longer was he a TURK....Reno was now a pile of mushy goo in the palm of Danae's hand.
...It would have exhasperated Rude to see this...but right at the moment...Reno didn't care.
"Heh heeehhhh." He grinned
"I hope you feel like it more often then."

(I always had a spork, but I never wnated to equip anything until I had a full avi ready! And I still dun't think you lubbs me! DX)

"Oh really?" Danae asked him.
"Who'd of thought such a sexy man like you would want my kisses?"

Laughing a bit, she was referring back to the previous days conversation.
It was hilarious, and now she was laughing in the bed with Reno.
Poor Rude, wherever he was.
When she saw him next, she'd have to comment about his 'shaved head' again.

((LE GASP! I do sooo, how can I proves it? *puppy face*))
"Aw, that's so sweet of you." He leaned in close to her and let his forhead rest against hers.
"But..I think you're overestimating me...yes.." He said pulling away for a moment.
"I am sexy, but.." He was back again.
"Not so much that I can't appreciate the little things."
He smiled and kissed Danae's forhead quickly and then pulled back, his face red.
"You see?"

(Reply quicker..? I don't know! XD)

Danae grinned now from ear to ear.
Reno was blushing! And it was more cute than it ever had been before.
"The little things huh?"
Putting her forehead to his, she smiled, but softly this time.
His eyes seemed to burn into hers. It was crazy!

"The little things.."
Now leaning her face in a bit, Danae began to close her eyes.
