I have a previous engagement that was made well in advance of tonight and I'm afraid that if I broke it off I would be saddened....wow, that sounded pretty...ODD...to say the least...I'm just going to reply now huh? yeah..that sounds good))

"Uh...huh...."

"Reno.." The door swooshed open and Rude poked his head in. Reno pulled back with a yell and crashed to the floor.
"What?" He growled out, running a hand over his face.
"Oh...just wondering what was taking you so long...we've still got a job to do if you haven't forgot about it already." He nodded a hello to Danae and then withdrew.
"Honestly..." Reno looked up over his knees that still lay on the bed.
"There are some days that I could kill that guy...."

(I know thats, but still! I was kidding to though! XD)


Sighing, Danae sort of just stared at her feet.
God how she hate Rude. HATED!

Flopping back into the bed now, she crawled back under the covers, and then hihd her face and eyes.
Was she about to cry..?
No. But it had upset her.
I mean, come on. What kind of timing was that!?

((Oh...*feels stupid now*....hey Reno....still got that gun on you?))

Reno sat up.
"Aww, come on, what's the matter now?....Given that was sucky timing...but..." He pulled the cover away from her face just enough to see it.
"I'm still here for the moment..." He leaned in a brushed a kiss over her lips, and pulled away letting the blanket fall back into place.
"And now, before Rude comes back I must leave you," He jerked up his shoes and jacket, and headed out before he could get smacked...or worse...Danae started crying again.

(XD I make people feel like that lots. Don't feel special! XD)

Danae only blinked a bit as Reno kissed her.
But why was he leaving?

"Hey hey!"

Dashing after Reno, she flung herself onto him.
"What am I supposed to do!?"
What was she supposed to do, really?
Well, she could sleep...
But she didn't want to sleep, not anymore..

(( I didn't feel special XDD I felt dumb!! LOLZ))

He let out a squee as she caught up with him.
"EEEeeeeee...." He flinched for a moment then turned...confused.
"Stay....here?" He shrugged.
"I dunno...Teseng probably won't let you come with us, after what happened the last time..Eeeehhhh..." He looked off as if remembering what happened.
"Geeze I hope they're not back out there again...that'd just be a pain."

Wrinkling her nose at Teseng's name, she hugged Reno lightly.
She even smiled a bit. Well yeah, she'd sleep.

"Well... Then kiss me the correct way, and I can let you go."
Besides, if anything ever happened to him... What would she have to remember him by?
Being interrupted, and yanked from the covers?
That was no good.

He sighed.
"Do I have ta?" He smiled down and pressed their foreheads together again.
"Alright, alright." He said softly.
His hand moved behind her head tilting it up so that her mouth met his for a brief moment. He then backed away and with a wave was gone.

Her soft smile, soon turned into a gigantic grin as she squealed her way back into Reno and Rude's room.
It certainly had gotten chilly hadn't it..?
Suddenly being slammed against the wall, Danae found the air knocked from her lungs as a mini Sephiroth stood above her with a smirk.
It was Yazoo this time, and only him.

Couching slightly, Danae's eyes grew wide as he lowered himself to her level, shutting the door.
"I am glad to see you again Danae. How have you been, hmm?"

Picking her up by her arm, Yazoo began to drag her towards the window. Although his grip wasn't as hard as Loz's, it was still too tight.

"Hey," she screamed. "Let me go!"

Reno: WTF MATE!? I JUST PWN YOU AND YOU FOLLOW ME BACK HOME!!!???))

Reno sat there in the front seat of the car...grinning like the idiot he was.
"Reno..." Rude said seriously.
"You're not..." He turned.
"Not what?"
"You're not...falling for this girl are you?"
"N-No, what makes you say that?"
"Reno..." Came the stern reply.
"Rude...she's...she's not like anyone else I've known.."
"And she's also getting targeted by Sephiroth's Avatars...what does that say?"
"That they're straight?" (Take that fangirls! XDD)
"Reno.."
"I know, I know...I'm getting in over my head."
"Damn right you are."

(Oh my God I love you! *points to fangirl comment* XD)

It was pretty hopeless now as Yazoo managed to grip her tighter, and drag him out with her.
Great. Just great..

She kicked and screamed and pulled hair. Now the hair did quite bother him, but as for the rest, she got nothing.
And as if life couldn't get any worse, it seemed as though they were headed back into town. But no, they weren't going to the monument..

Eventually, they'd made it to a dead-end alleyway. And there were Kadaj and Loz.
"Look who I found brother," Yazoo said, tossing Danae towards Kadaj.
"She was with the Turks."
"Well well-" Kadaj said. "I guess I can see why he asked for her.

Elena sighed as she headed back to Reno's room...she figured Danae would be wanting something to eat, so she brought with her a full breakfast that she'd cooked for herself and Danae.
"Hey, you al--" She pushed open the door and the tray dropped...the room was empty.

"I dunno man, I guess I'm just--"
RENO! Came the call over the CB.
"Elena?"
Danae's gone! Be advised SHE'S GONE.
"Where!?"
No clue, didn't get a chance to get a tracer on her.
"CRAP." He said slamming the mic back on the stand.
"Reno..." Rude looked over at his partner.
"You don't think?"
"I don't think, no....I know...and I'm praying that I'm wrong."

(Okies. You better be on Tuesday though! D: )

Also holding Danae by the arm, Kadaj looked her over, and then Loz.
Loz however, was grinning too much to merely just be looking for whatever it was they were looking for.

"What do you want from me?" She demanded, jerking free.
"I don't know you three! Why can't you just leave me alone!?"

Loz laughed, Kadaj smirked, and Yazoo smiled.
"Are you really that clueless," Kadaj asked her.
"I mean, you knew him, right? Of course you did. And he's been wanting to talk to you... yes. Talk. But he can't do that without mother."

Danae's head was in circles. Who was mother..?

((HALLLOO!!!))

Reno and Rude sped as fast as they could through the streets eyes peeled out either window, Reno practically hanging out of the window so that he wouldn't have to strain his eyes through the tint.
"Rude are you sure that we've been everywhere!?" He called back over his shoulder.
"Reno, I'm SURE. I'm trying every road I can think of, will you just get back in here before some sign takes off that head of yours!? You're freaking me out!"
Reno sighed and scanned the street.
"That's funny....'cause I'm freaking myself out...."

(HOMG! YAY! *best parts of my week*)

"Well what does that mean!?" Danae demanded.
"I don't know your mother!"
Technically, she did, but under a different name.. little did she know of course..

Laughing slightly again, Kadaj only shook his head.
"That isn't what he told us."

Most everything that Kadaj was saying, was bull. Again, Danae didn't know that, being as gullible as she was.

"I don't know what you could possibly be talking about! Now let me go-" Trying to step past Loz, proved difficult, as he was about double her size. Great.

((LOL))
Rude came to a stop at the next red light and Reno was out like a shot, leaving his door wide open, he scrambled into the crosswalk.
"R-RENO! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!?!"
"I'm going around on foot! you keep looking, I'll let you know if I find anything!" And just like that, he ducked in between two bulidings calling out Danae's name.
Rude sighed and merely closed the door, taking off slowly much to the dismay of the other honking vehicles behind him.
"Just...don't die Reno...I'd hate to have to explain that to Rufus when he gets back."

(Oh come on. XD)

Sighing quite loudly, Danae crossed her arms. Everything went silent for a moment, and then..
"Danae..!?"
Her eyes seemed to pop open wider in fear, it was Reno.
All three of the men grinned. Except for Yazoo, who sort of smirked.
Reno, no...

"It's the Turk from earlier," Yazoo stated, calm as ever. "She was staying with him."
"Oh really?" Kadaj seemed pleased now.
"Maybe we should see just how much he knows.."
"No!" Danae screamed, too loud for her own good. "Please, please leave him out of this!"

Laughing, Loz cracked his neck from side to side, and then his knuckles. Boy, they sure fought dirty didn't they?

"We know you know where mother is-" Kadaj began.
"I don't know what you're talking about!"
"Oh really?"
"Yes," she screamed back.

((Okay, I admit it, I'm a Rp junkie XDDD))

"DANAE!" Reno called louder, poking his head around a corner.
"Oh where are you...." His stomach kind of dropped into his feet and he got cold. There was always the possibility that they had already....NO! He wouldn't think like that! There was no way that she was dead...she couldn't be... He gripped his hands in white knuckled fists.
But if she was....

(Uh-huh. :3)

Shrugging slightly, Loz seemed a bit disappointed. They all did, slightly.
"He can't talk to you without mother," Kadaj told her. "Do you even know who I'm talking about?"

"Yes."
Of course she did by now, they all looked like Sephiroth anyway. Someone would have to be very dumb to not have gotten it, with all of the info that Danae had.

"Then why won't you tell us where moth-"
"I don't even know what 'mother is'!" Danae had interrupted Loz.
She was sick of this, and she didn't want Reno to find her here with them. Apparently, they wanted nothing more.

Peering past the oddly distracted Loz, Dana suddenly dashed past him.
"Hey!" He growled, taking off after her, Yazoo, not far behind.

She wasn't very fast at all.. Well, she was faster than she gave herself credit for.
And it certainly began to prove interesting as she weaved around corners.

Reno heard something...to the left? No...it was towards the right....or was it..aw, to heck with it. He started for the sound and rounded a corner only to plow headfirst into a warm body.
He was knocked back for a second, but he came up with Mag-rod in hand.
"Who--" He paused blinking.
"DANAE!?" He cried happily.
"Thank God I found you, are you alright?" He offered her a hand up.
"How did you get out here?"

(I am so mean. D: )

Taking his hands instantly, Danae wanted to pretty much tackle Reno, but began to run with him, not letting his hand go.
"No talking! Run!"

Glancing over her shoulder slightly, there were this two baby-Sephiroth's chasing after them.
By now, Yazoo had his trusty guns, and was preparing to fire.
And then he did.
Suddenly, Danae collapsed to the ground, bleeding.

Loz broke out into laughter, and ceased his chasing, along with Yazoo, who sort of just watched her lay on the ground.
Slowly, Yazoo backed away, taking Loz with him, and dashed off. They were only messing with her again..

((AWWW!!! *huggles Danae* NUUU!!! She got hurted.))

"WAH!!" Reno was jerked around and barely got balanced as she raced off.
"DANAE! WILL YOU TELL ME WHAT'S GOING ON!?" He called.
"DANAE!"

Reno glanced behind them when Danae did and let out a curse.
"HOW'D THEY GET HERE!?" He barked out baring his teeth.
He let out an ever louder curse when Danae hit the ground.
He knelt over her and snarled out a particularly nasty four letter word.
"Here." He said jerking out a handkerchief and pressing it against the wound.
"Keep pressure on that." He put Danae's hand on the white cloth that was staining red, and turned with a hand on his ear.
"Rude...yeah, I found her...we're stuck in some alleyway..not sure where we are....yeah you do that...and Rude....they're back...watch yourself."
He turned back and did all he could at the moment to treat the bullet wound.
"This sucks! What do they want with you anyway!?" He muttered to himself.

(I know, I be a meanie..)

Sighing, Danae sat up as best she could, and kept the pressure to the left side of her abdomen. All she needed, great..
"Mother," she said blankly, leaning against Reno now.

Her face was already stained with tears, although, they were for pain, more than anything.
Hopefully, Yazoo hadn't hit anything vital. Although, if they needed her so badly, he would have made sure not to, she was positive.

"I'm sorry Reno," she whined, trying to wipe her eyes with her shoulder.

((T^T Yesh you are!! Poor Danae!!))

Reno looked back.
"Mother? What the--JENOVA?" He looked back in case the two freaks decided to make another apperance.
"Great, that's all we need...More Sephiroths..."
He turned to Danae, his face worried.
"Hey, now..." He said softly.
"No need for that...come on, stiffen up, we'll get you out of here and patched up before you know it...Rude's on his way right now."

(*smacks self* I know! D; )

Shrugging a bit, Danae's head seemed to click together. Jenova... Huh..
Staring down at the blood she was leaving all around her, and Reno, Dana sniffed a bit more.

"I am such a problem for you, and I've only known you for what, two days..?"
Nodding, she hid her face from him, and turned her back to him.
She was a bit of a problem, but not in the way she was thinking, hopefully.

Still though, what did the little Sephiroth's want from her..?

"I just.. I've gotten you beat up twice, gotten you in trouble, and now, you had to look for me.. and then I'm shot. How in any way have I been a good thing..?"

She didn't want to be a burden of course, but she liked Reno.. That was obvious.

((AHHH!!! NUUUU NU HITTING YOURSELF!!! *glomps* Dun do it!))

Reno sighed, what was he supposed to do....there the two of them were, waiting on that slowpoke Rude, and very possibly going to get attacked very soon...and Danae could think of nothing else but being sorry for being a burden....he muttered to himself and then turned, quickly kissing her silent.
"If you were a burden, do you think I would have bothered to get beaten up in the first place?" He asked with a worried smile when he'd pulled away.
"Seriously think about that for a moment, and let me worry about how to stop you from bleeding out."
