Not sure what double-dutch is...like, twisting the robe in mid jump and going through the loop? If so, I used to tangle up when I was a kid, so I quit after a while, but then trying it again a few years later, it just came naturally. I've had no trouble with it after that.

(Double dutch is 2 ropes spinning in opposite directions like a blender.. you get rhythm of jumping between them... but at first it's always failure.)
