I've never had that problem cell phones, ipods etc.

My problem has always been with vehicles. Every time I purchase a new car or truck; It'll be dented and scratched (caused by inconsiderate jerks) within my first week of owning it.

I have an MP3 player that, despite my continually dropping it, never broke or even got scratched o_0;; It's oddly durable.
I still have it but I don't use it anymore :b

I woke up really early in the morning, so I was out of it, and I had firmly clipped one of my new cell phones on my shirt's collar. My mom wanted me to bend down and pick something up for her, and my cell phone dropped in the toilet so I'm stuck with my old bent out of shape one that hardly works. LOL >>;

That really sucks.
I'm sorry.
Did they pay for your dents?

I scratched my Gameboy Advance SP, but I did it on the inside so it doesn't bother me that much. I'm not sure how it happened but I was really annoyed at the time because I thought I wouldn't get any money if I wanted to trade it in. I still have it though so that hasn't been a problem.

When I got my iPod I thought rather than just worry and polish the shiny side all of the time I would just let it get covered in fingerprints and teeny scratches. I keep it in a case anyway because it's always in my pocket while I'm walking to sixth form.

One of my friends has dropped her mp3 player many, many times on everything from the bus to floorboards but the day she dropped it on the nice soft carpet she cracked the screen.

I always play video games on my DS instead. Plus I always seemed to like the video game music more than just about any other form of music. I'm not really sure why, though, I guess since they usually put me in a certain mood because they remind me of where the game takes place or something?

I scratched my DS touch screen the other day, I'm annoyed, you can barely see it its so tiny, but when I brush my fingers over it, I can feel it. D:
There is also a chip in the paint. ; -;

But I've had it for a very long time, and have countless hours of gameplay with it. So, I guess it's understandable. The scratch is fairly recent too, maybe a month old.

Haha, in the first week I got my phone I dropped it and it got a scratch. I was like, omg nooo!! Now it's totally scratched to shit because I slide it across floors and stuff, but I don't really care. As long as I can text, call and use the camera the scratches mean nothing to me. XD

I threw my cell at a wall once when I was mad. It got more than a scratch, unfortunately. (R.I.P.) ;-;

Don't feel bad about dropping stuff though. I've dropped my poor mp3 player so many times that its spiderwebbed with tiny scratches. xD

But once when I was in 8th grade, I got the most Accelerated Reader points in my entire grade and the school gave me a portable CD player. :'D
So the next day, I was at the Y and I was getting into the car and my little brother decided to SHOVE me, and the CD player fell out of my hands and fell into the street where it broke in half. DDD:
Yes, I could've totally strangled him. :x

Yes!
The first week I had my brand new cellphone I was playing air soft and my friend Timmy shot my phone!
He SHOT my phone!
When I opened it the color had all bled out and everything, my entire screen was orange!
All except the lower right hand corner.
I was so mad!

I'm pretty careful with my stuff for the most part. I've only dropped my cell phone once or twice, and none of them were bad drops that left damage.
My mp3 player screen is cracked. I'm no sure how it happened. I keep it in my bag and I've never had a problem with it. But about a month ago, during the space of the three days I spent in the hospital ER with my grandfather, something happened and when I pulled it out at home it was cracked. I don't mind too much, it still works.
I'd say out of my sisters, I'm the most careful with my stuff. My older sis loses a lot of stuff. My little sis is just irresponsible; and why should she care when my parents just keep replacing everything she breaks. We both got a cd player for Christmas in 2002; I still have mine and it still works fine. She dropped hers in a puddle the day after she got it.

Yes, yes, and YES.
I got a new phone recently.
It's all scratched because I had it in my pocket with my keys.
I was stupid and now I cave to buy new covers >___>

A few years back, I had bought a brand new digital camera to bring on my first and only A-kon trip ever.

As I was walking downtown, I remembered to take my camera out of the padded carrying case to take some photos. I turn it on and waited for the LCD monitor to flash the welcome stuff--- Only to see that it had a huge crack running all the way across the screen making it completely unreadable. I had no camera for the entire weekend to my horror. I still have no idea how it cracked since it had been in its case the entire time.

I wept bitterly.

Oh man, Omi, that must've sucked! D:

Once I went out with some friends and I had a cheapie digital camera with me to take pictures. We had a lot of fun and I had some -great- pictures. When we were going home, I slipped the camera in my jeans pocket. Little did I know, the bloody battery cover had fallen off. When I got home, I pulled the camera out, and the battery fell out. 5 hours of pictures, gone. And good pictures, at that. ;-;

Heh... And just a day after I posted in this forum I totally dropped my cell phone all the way from the top of the stairs in my house to the bottom... It bounced down like every 5ish steps until it crash landed on the hard floor below. Fortunately though it survived all in one piece. I guess LG's Chocolates are pretty resilient! ^^;

LOL.
I've done that with the really old Game Boy. But I left a hole in my wall.

D:
You should have strangled him.
And recorded him! :o

@Kuri Chan: Wait. First of all. What kind of idiot shoots a phone?

@Peskie: Yeah, you have to be careful not to put it in your pocket with other things. I'm paranoid about getting it scratched and won't let it even in the same pocket with spare coins.

@Omi: Oh wow.
Well...
I don't really know what to say to that, since, you know. That's horrible.
):

@Zigbig: Ahahaha, wow. Nice. I've heard those phones aren't really that easily broken.
:/
