-.o' Don't beg. No matter what the heck site you start off in, NEVER BEG.
1) Creates a bad image of yourself right from the start. It's like the plague. Nobody wants to be near people who have the plague.
2) Stupid waste of time. You could just as easily have used that text to introduce yourself and gained possibly more gold than the whole "zomg gimme gold!" type thing.

I'm active enough! XD Unfortunately it's getting close to my bedtime (I go to sleep quite early).
Welcome to Menewsha! Tell me a bit more about yourself? The longer your post, the more gold you get! XD
P.S. Don't ask for gold. people don't like that. Especially since most of the people in this part of the forums are pretty poor (look at me, I don't even have pants or anything! XD)

As scarlet said never ask or imply you want gold from someone. They will eat you alive here. ^_-
But other then that you seem fine and literate so I think you should enjoy Menewsha.

Everyone started a newbie, but not every newbie begged for gold. -lol-
Basically it kind of boils down to this...:
Don't do something here you wouldn't do in real life. If you wouldn't give your address out to some random stranger RL, don't do it in Menewsha either (no really, this is creepy). If you don't lie, cheat, or steal in real life, don't do it here. Menewsha is a little community, so it's not that difficult to begin making friends. Just like RL, you gotta take the initiative to make friends. A few might fall into your lap, but you get more friendly folk if you take a little time to read and learn a little about people and write back to them from time to time.
A good place to start would be general discussion. Pick a topic you're interested in, or create one of your own, and before you know it you'll find a handful of close friends with similar interests.
Or, if you're not too bored with long paragraphs, perhaps you'll find the Debates forum more interesting. The only thing to be wary of there, of course, is to try to keep your temper and keep in mind that tone cannot come across as well in text...so though it may sound offensive, don't assume others in the threads are attempting to offend you unless it's explicitly stated.
For example, "Prochoice is stupid" DOES NOT EQUAL "Everyone who believes in prochoice is stupid..and because you believe in prochoice, you're stupid too."
If you take offense at everything, you'd just come off as uptight. Keep an open mind and you'll probably enjoy your stay here.

Oh, I agree with the above post. Sometimes, tones don't come across correctly when someone is typing, since you're not listening to someone's voice or watching someone's face. This is one of the main reasons I use "letter" emotes and real emotes. Sometimes, when I say something, someone thinks I'm angry and I'm actually not o.e;
Be careful about your diction, and if you doubt whether or not you might offend someone, maybe it's good to clarify what you mean emotionally ^^

Well, thank you and I promise not to "Beg" again because I know now that it's very bad and I'll try to earn my friend's and maybe make a Quest thread here and there since I here it help's.

I remembered this one time a friend of mine online said "shut up" playfully to someone else. It didn't go quite so well ^^;
