Hooo haaa for getting things in the mail. I was all excited to get my jewelry making stuff... except the two things I was waiting around MOSTLY for, are on back-order... so who knows when I will get them... blahhhh... Either way, getting crap in the mail is like Christmas... it's awesome... ha ha ha ha... I'm going to start mailing things to myself to make me feel important!

Ah, it's good to not be at work.... I can be lazy almost all day, at least until I have to go bowling...

I am supposed to be job hunting but I get no where on that.

I have a regular craplatuclar job that is slowly destroying my hands and sanity... so a day off is a very welcome break. Job hunting is definitely not fun, though. I don't recommend a retail job... you'll grow to dislike most people...

There aren't any jobs in the town I live in except shelf stacking but most of the employers are horrible and not someone you would want to work for.

I've been given a website that has a huge list of jobs but there are very few that you can get in the area.

That's usually how it is, though. Either you take a sucky job because it's close to home, or travel far for a semi-decent one. My jobs a half hour away, and it USED to be semi-decent... but they sent us a tyrannical manager... who I am pretty sure is bi-polar... I even think she's on meds... I shy away from her for fear of bodily harm.

The town's going down hill anyway, so it's not supprising that there's hardly any jobs.

People will end up traveling further anyway because most of the courses at the collage are at the one that in the city that closer to us. Less and less courses are at the local collage now so it's not going to be worth keeping it open soon.

The actual town (village actually, it's a The Village Of... place) that I live in is completely dead. We have a pizza shop and some bars... that's about it... but I'm about a half hour away from the rest of the world... half hour away from my job... why do I work there again...?

Ugh, I commuted to college (is graduated). I took the city bus... never... NEVER sit in the back seat of a city bus... people DO very unspeakable things...

Where I am it's between two cities so it's either you go to the closer city which is a half an hour train ride away or the slightly further away one which is a 45 minute to and hour train ride away.

There is no way that I want to stay round here because pretty much everyone is the same, they all act the same way.

Ah, small town life... I totally get what you mean. When I was in college, I went to the city and there is such a difference... such a variety of lifestyles and people, which is nice. My "village" used to be a cute little Pleasantville type of place, unfortunately in the past few years, we seem to have developed a drug problem. It used to be a boring, but nice place to live... but now I really want away... I need to save up my money and move out with my boyfriend.

I live in a huge village which is still growing. It's pretty much the same size as the town.

A few people who take drugs round here but it's not really that much of a problem. I've watched people in the same year in school as me going from getting pretty much top grades then starting taking drugs and missing lessons and having their grades slip.

It's a place where friend means someone who ditches you when you most need them, bitches about you and then when they get a boyfriend or girlfriend they take offense at the smallest thing so you don't dare say anything and then they say one thing and go off and do something else with their boy/girlfriend.

So you could be stood somewhere waiting for them and they'll cancel doing whatever they were going to do with you but not tell you. Also they treat the person they're with pretty much like dirt then laugh in their face when they dump them.

I've given up on having friends round here I have a long distance boyfriend that's all I need.

Whooooooo... Sounds like a fun place to be... now I know why I keep so very few close friends. Being a socialite is overrated anyway, and it takes me a while anyway to trust and get to know people. I don't deal with assholery of friends at all, I don't need the drama... So I definitely can't blame you for feeling the way you do about making friends. A few solid people that you can trust is all you really need. And long distance boyfriend... lucky... ha ha ha... mine is only fifteen minutes away from me, but we only really see each other on the weekends.

It's always the same story when they get dumped they come back to their friends. I and many people I know have put up with being treated like that, because if weren't there to be their friend when they broke up then they'd have no one, it was mostly done out of pity but now I'm just going with if they decide they only need boy/girlfriend and no other friends then, that's it I'm done with them I can't be bothered with them or their lies anymore. If they decide to come crawling back then it's going to be you made it clear you didn't need me as a friend so that's how it's staying.


I've been with my boyfriend for 3 years which has well outlasted the relationships of people I know which lasting up to 3 months is something to celebrate.

Hmmm... I've been with my boyfriend for... it'll be eight years in mid-october... Please don't ask me why we aren't married yet!!! He is the best friend that I could ask for, but I certainly don't neglect my other friends because of him...

That always cracked me up in high school. I had a friend that everytime she got a boyfriend or made new friends, I suddenly wasn't good enough to hang out with. I was like, her "back-up" friend I suppose. Now she's married and has a kid, and wants me to hang-out with her... and wonders why I NEVER call her now or go see her. I don't want bothered with her. I'm a loyal person, and I don't like being screwed around with. She only wants me to hang out with her now, because all her other "friends" abandoned her. Grrrr... makes me mad just thinking about it!

I'm supprised how long people put up with being treated like dirt by people who then come crawling back, when everything goes wrong. In the end you just get sick of it, an amoeba would be treated better by them, than they're treating a fellow human.

Radly returns and there was no one here. Now I return and there's no one here either.

Waaaahh... I still keep on losing my internet connections... I really think it's the stupid router dying! No one else in the area with the same internet connection is having trouble. The stupid thing is barely over a year old! It shouldn't be dying already!

Oh teh noes!! I had that problem the other day now I can't get on the internet at all on my laptop so I've had come onto the computer.

I've been OK so far today, but yesterday was a pain in the ass! It kept on happening at the worst possible times!

Who knows what's wrong with it.
