Hanging in there. You mean here? I'm not sure why. I'm going to start (or Love will) another round of trivia in about 1-2 hours, and I hope we have enough people. Hard to round people up if they aren't on!

I suck at trivia.

It's probibly better to wait til abit later when more people are on but there's not alot of people online later.

That's what I'm thinking. We were on the road for over 3 hours today  and I am starting to get a migraine. I think I tweaked my neck. The problem is, if it doesn't improve, I won't be able to sit in front of the PC. My migraines affect my vision.

Oh dear. I've never suffered from migraines but I've known people who have and they found it helped to sit in a darken room for a while.

Yeah... I have to pick my daughter up soon, otherwise I'd head off to bed for a while. Sometimes that's all that I need to do.

It'd probibly be a good idea to have a lay down when you get back.

I dunno. I'm pretty heavily tattooed and have friends who are even more than I am - and it doesn't freak them out.

I wear earrings that scare people of my own age. Mostly ones that look like flesh plugs and the body bar style expanders.

I don't think I'd be very good with childrens.

Do you just have a lot of ear jewelry on or are your lobes stretched? OH! How's your navel piercing?

I have three sets of holes in each ear and alot of earrings that go though the hole and just make it look like it's stretched.

Navel piercing is healing up well. I keep having to change the salt water right after I've put it in the egg cup seeing as my kitty thinks it's a good idea to drink some to see if it tastes better than last time.

That's so funny about your kitty! Just being helpful :)

You forget that I am from the safety pin in the cheek/punk era. The first time my daughter met one of my friends with facial tattoos, she just stared. Then, they started talking to each other. One of the guys that's like that has helped her level up her pokemon.

It's not that common to see punks anymore and if people have stretched their ears then the holes are normally hidden behide hair. It's quite fun to freak people out with my earrings. The ones I have in at the moment in my first set of holes look like over sized belly bars.

That sounds interesting! I honestly believe that some people that would normally think that kids wouldn't want to come near them would be surprised by how kids really perceive them.

Children are alot more accepting of how people look than adults are. I get alot of children looking at me then turning to their parent and saying about my pink hair.

It's mainly the parents who want to keep their children cotton wool wraped and way from all the body modifications.

I know my own parents would prefer that I refrain from any further body modifications, since I am an adult and they continuously make a point of telling me how they will NOT ever support me financially, no matter what kind of situation I'm in (unemployed or widowed like I am now), I really don't care. I also tend to be super smiley almost to the point of being obnoxious so that people tend to either be more friendly or run away. It's funny - particularly at my age. BUT, I live in a small town and it's hard to be inconspicuous here. I think that I'm going to have to hold off on any more mods because I'm going to be looking for a job when I go back to school next month. IF I find something decent to do, I'll take it - then the old man gets the boot.

I'm job hunting as well so no actual ear stretching for me. It'd be rather off putting for most employers. So would having three sets of holes in each ear but they're easily hidden.

I usually wear flat plugs that look almost like post earrings. Most people don't notice them. I think that if I wore flesh plugs it would be even less conspicuous - but I think you're wise about not being so blatantly modded because most employers are quite picky these days. I don't know if the UK is being hit as hard by the unemployment issues, but we have over 10% of the local population unemployed (and not counting parents who are staying home or retirees).

I can't get a job in my area at the moment. If there are any jobs going they're all out of the town and about a 20 minute bus ride away.
I was offered some work experience at the school I went to with the chance of a job there but I didn't take it because of too many bad memories there.
