What the hell is a Mimzy that's what I want to know.

It's from a movie called the Last Mimzy - basically, it's a highly interactive stuffed bunny.

A mimzy sounded like some kind of horrible fleash eating beetle to me. THE MINZYS HAVE GOT ME!!!

Oh no!! Honestly, it's a very sweet movie - I love the bunny.

I think it'd be a great name for a nasty swarm of something. Giving swarms of nasty things nice names and make them sound so much less threating.

Have you ever noticed that flying, stinging insects mostly have one syllable? Fly, gnat, bee, wasp... Then there are mosquitoes, yellow jackets, etc.
