So...I had a glass of tea, and I've been drinking it for the past few minutes. well, when I finished, I look into the cup and I see a hair inside the cup. That's so gross to think there was a hair in my cup while I was drinking the tea D: I have no idea how I managed not to swallow it!

Have you ever ate/drank something with something gross inside and only realized it was there after you finished?

Oh yes I hate when that happens normally it is a hair. Then you find it all tucked away at the end of the plate or cup. XP

I think the worst thing that has ever happened to me was we went to Burger King and I had a whopper *the last time I ever ate one* this was several years back. But I had eaten a few bites and my tomatoes where slidding about under the buns. So I pull it apart to fix them and I see something in the mayo just a little black something but they are flame broiled so I did not think much but I do not like stuff even black dots on my food. So I picked up a fry to further investigate my mayo and what did I uncover..... A large DEAD FLY it had drowned in the mayo apparently. I could die. I ran to the bathroom and threw up everywhere. I never ever ever will ever eat a whopper again. I get sick when I think about even stepping foot in a Burger King again.

He has no problem eating there now but I still can not stomach it.

My friend was drinking coffee and when she finished she realized there was one of those plastic containers (without the lid) that they use to put salad dressings in at the bottom of here cup, it was stuck to the bottom. She was so grossed out because she thought, it muse be used because how else would it be sticking to the bottom if it was clean? I don't understand how the waitress didn't see it in the cup when she poured it and how the plastic didn't melt because of the hot coffee. o.O
Also one time my husband was eating these little broccoli balls at a church potluck and they were so good that they didn't have anymore after a short time. He got up from his seat to throw away his plate and low and behold there was one broccoli ball left that was untouched. Of course I could not let such a travesty happen. I delicious broccoli ball get thrown away? Never! I stopped him and took the ball saying I would eat it. He tried to stop me but it was too late. I looked at the ball and saw the hair sticking out of it and exclaimed loudly, "OMG there's a hair in it!" My husband tried so hard to get it past me because he knew if I saw it I would say something ( loudly ) and he didn't want to embarrass the person who had made them. Too late. Unfortunately, his loud wife had still done it. XD Luckily I don't think anyone other then my friends sitting with me noticed so it was all good. lol

I once went to Birmingham with my fiance and we were hungry so we went to the food court. We found one place we wanted to try (can't remember the name, but the sold mexican food type stuffs) and we qued for about half an hour (no lie) when it was our turn to order I ordered a BBQ chicken wrap for himm and a mayo chicken wrap for me. Got to a table and I bit into to it to find out it was also a BBQ wrap, I didn't bother taking it back to be changed because liek I said, we already qued for about half an hour. Halfway through the wrap I took another bite and the chicken felt... wierd and tough and there was a bit I couldn't bite through so the bit in my mouth was hanging onto a piece in the wrap. I spat it out and it looked like some sort of... Tumor or abses. I nearly threw up all over the place. They obviosly don't check the chicken before they cook it... But this could only pass if they bought cheap ass reject chicken bits or something. Made me wonder where the hell they got it from. I felt sick the rest of the day and we never ate there again ><

I've eaten at a Chinese place before that had fruit flies all over the food. I didn't realize it until I was almost done. Needless to say, I never went back after realizing my food had bugs all over it.

The worst thing that has ever happened to me was when I used a glass in my cupboard for orange juice. was practically still asleep, which explains why I didn't look in the cup before I filled it up and drank it. Well, apparently, someone didn't wash the cup before they put it in the cupboard. i drank a sip of the orange juice and it tasted funny so I looked at it. There was whit flakes floating in the orange juice, it was so disgusting, i almost vomited.

One night, I was drinking a glass of water and I felt something bumping against my lip. I made nothing of it. In the morning, the lights were on, and I was thirsty again... and I realized there was a roach in my water... o.e;;

I was in a bar once, and there was this skinhead. The type of guy you wouldnt like trouble with, and he was taunting me.. x_x

So I was just sitting with a glass of beer, and he sat next to me. He started talking to me, though I didnt really feel like talking. Didnt really end up in a conversation. Then he suddenly unexpectedly started spilling his bottled beer into my glass, saying I could have it. Not thinking, I took a gulp. I saw him turning around saying something to someone else, then turn to me. I got the message, walked to a bunch of people that I knew, placed down my glass on a chair unnoticably, and took off. NOBODY'S TAKIN' MY BEER!! D:<

..But Id rather not drink that..

When I was a kid, the supermarket had a huge infestation of moths inside of their wheat and corn products. (bread, cereal.)

So when I popped open a box of frosted flakes at the age of 10 and went to town on my breakfast.... Halfway through I realized that there are at least ten carcasses of moths inside of my cereal bowl, sticking to the sides, legs all curled up...
From that moment on I always check my cereal and bread to make sure there's nothing insect-y about my product.

I've never understood what is so disgusting about a hair in your food. I always just pick the hair out and go on with my meal. XD

I can't remember the last time that I ate something disgusting like that, but my mom once drank a glass of water with a cockroach in it (the flying variety... ew) and it crawled into her mouth.
:| Shudder.

@Platinum-- It's a hair! It's not like it's covered with infectious disease. XD

Uh huh. She was drinking and it crawled up the side of the glass and into her mouth. Disgusting, no?

That's not too bad. I just cooked with slightly mouldy purple broccoli.

It was only mild fluff, and you can't tell when it's cooked, and it doesn't do anything bad or detract from the taste =3

Oh quite o.e.. the thought of it makes me shudder.

Next time someone sees hair in their food, just be grateful it's not a live bug/insect/whatever! Now THAT's gross! Hair is just hair... we all have it 8D

I can't think of a time where my food or drink had something in it that made is sooo disgusting. Yes, I've had the hair thing but for me it depends what it is, if I don't like the food/drink, it gives me an excuse not to drink or eat it. One time though, at camp, I took a glass, and filled it up with water, except after drinking it, I thought it tasted strange, and I looked at the water, and it was whitish, meaning it wasn't washed fully and the person before me had milk, and I absolute DESPISE milk [with exception of hot chocolate and stuff] and then for the rest of the morning I felt nauseous [it was during breakfast].
