I think that is the most important for a majority of the users. Especially if your computer already goes slow on Mene. Although the server can hold the current load, with all those images everyone, it will become too much.

And then everyone would be annoyed left and right when it takes a minute or two to load a page.

The tag [b] does not count, but the bolded word itself gives you gold. If that helps? o.o

For example, the URL http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y12.../cat-guard.jpg would give me gold. But if I threw [img] tags around it, the tags themselves would not give me gold.

But - I see what you meant now. XD Sorry - I read the post 'backwards'. XD I agree with you. Even while not intentionally trying to abuse the gold-earning system, my photobucket urls tend to be hideously long. I don't really see as it would be fair for me to flob my posts for gold gain.

But I'm not someone who supports the use of flobs in general anyway. XD;

They add more character to my avvies.
But I only make one post with the flob,
And everything after is just the same formatted text as the original flob post.

I think thats pretty pointless too. if you're only using them once in a topic then why bother?

I like it as it is now. Any images are on topic and the only decorated posts are the starter posts of topics which are allowed them anyways. A lot of random crap in your posts doesn't make them special, it just detracts from the post itself and makes the starter posts of a thread no stand out as much.
