Best way to do that is to make him clean up all his things immediatly after he finishes playing with them.

I try, but sometimes he says he's "still playing" and then when I'm not there he just leaves them there D8;

Nah, that'd be too mean. Though you could introduce a rule of: whatever is lying around after you've gone to bed because you didn't clean up, is mine, and will be tossed away.

I think that would work. I've done it once before XD

When my mum did it to me as a kid, I stopped leaving my toys lying around. ^-^v

The RP's about one of my OC's, actually (the one you see in my sig >w<). She's sort of trapped in her own mind, and because she controls dreams, the dream world and real world have been warped. So now a group of people have to find her in all this mess before it gets even worse >w> It's sort of a typical looking-for-something RP

I see - sounds like a lot of fun, though! I love questing-RP's, though I hardly play them.
