omg, your "remembered" portion of the shop almost made me cry T_T I couldn't even finish watching it T_T and now that video's making me feel scared for my friend that's in cadets and gonna learn to use a glider soon.

Promotion board. Was going over all the subjects which I did fine on. I just got really nervous while be critiqued. I feel bad though, not cause I didnt pass but because I made my sponsor/study partner look like shit cause of it. =(

my first one,
they asked me where i was born.
i just froze and my supervisor was on the board.
i saw his expression and i wanted to breakdown and cry.
so, after the inital 'freeze-up' i starrted to babble.
i told them where i was born, each place i moved,
and as a military brat it was an impressive amount.
all of this was in about the span of two minutes.
then the whole board was just staring at me,
jaws dropped!
we all looked at each other for what seemed like an eternity.
then i said, in a nervously quivering voice,
'any other questions, gentlemen?'
i could feel the sweet under my arms dripping to my waist!

you'll do way better next time, good luck!

I go stand infront of a bunch of Senior Enlisted members and get drilled on regulations, knowledge in a bunch of different areas and my appearance and confidence. I was just too nervous to pull it off. =/

Mine was for about 45 minutes. It was fuckin horrible. I blew a facing movement and immediately went "Shit. That was left."
Then SFC Villagomez -_- With the barrage of questions til I got one wrong. I just started missing them just to end her questioning in that section.

I dont do well when put on the spot like that. Never have, but shove me into something I know very well and I will rip people apart when they ask me questions pertaining to my everyday work. =(

i mean, doesn't everyone know where they were born?

i was dispatching and in charge of the shift,
i knew my stuff backwards and forward.
i still did a horrible job.

when my supervisor walked into the dispatch office.
he said, 'should i have just asked your name, no rank, just your name?'
i apologized left and right.
he said he asked the simplest question he could think of, to put me at ease.
and i jokingly stood up and went to 'ease' position.
he busted up laughing.
and then he told me my question to the board redemed myself to them.
something about grace under pressure.
he called me grace thereafter.
i disliked that so much and blushed every single time.
