Has anyone seen it yet? If you haven't, I've got three words for you; YOU TOTALLY SHOULD! That was the best movie I've seen in a while. Well, I always enjoyed Sweeney Todd..but we're talkin bout this! Jackie Chan + Jet Li = AWESOMEE. I knew the kung fu would be totally out there, but I didn't expect it to be modern and old school combined. I enjoyed it to the fullest extent. ^-^

Okay, so my favorite character would have to be Sparrow. Cuz she's tight like that. n___n. And I liked how she kept speaking in third person. xD I also LOVED the Monkey King. Can you say, hella funny?

I don't wanna say my favorite part, because if any of you haven't seen it and are going to, I don't want to ruin it for any of you!

EDITT;; Well, I suppose I can tell you guys without giving anything away, and I can discuss it with people that HAVE seen it. I liked the part where Jackie Chan was trying to make rain. XDDD

I watched it without seeing any of the trailers, or knowing who was in it.

I thought it was a comedy. ^w^;
(I thought it was kind of hard to take seriously)

While my friends who went with me, and watched it believed it to be one of the most epic thing ever.

Wow, I really want to watch this movie... I probably won't be able to until the DVD comes out, though, I have a whole bunch of school stuff to take care of. =(

@Mage- Awww that's too bad! It's a really good movie. I think I would give it a 5. I mean, I guess some parts were a little corny, or strange to watch, but I liked it a lot. n___n;;

I loved this movie, but I was already a jackie chan fan. I enjoyed the bit of a twist and the sort of homage to the older kung fu movies.

I enjoyed the homage to the old movies and to the deeper cultural classic 'Journey to the West', but at the same time I'm glad I didn't go with extraordinary expectations, since I was disappointed by a few traditional 'Hollywoodisms'.
Not enough to make me hate it, but I wouldn't put it on my 'epic film' list.

Absolutly brilliant in my opinion! I loved the martial arts, and the acting was just amazing and so was the story line! I've seen it 2 times and both times were amazing! I'm so glad that I got to see Jackie Chan actualy do some of his real stuff.

The battle scenes/ fight scenes weren't really that impressive, in my opinion. Considering that two superstars are here, Jet Li and Jackie Chan, I was hoping that the fight scenes and stunts would be remarkable--- something we can never forget and would make us imitate their elegant moves. But I ended up disappointed.

As for their acting, Jackie Chan and Jet Li proved that they really deserve the fame and respect that they have now. The lady (forgot her name) is simple and elegant... and the main character.. uh, nothing much to comment about him, sorry. n_n;;

The story... hm, I guess it's okay.
