XD Ah, well. I think most of us tend to have a warped and/or twisted sense of humor in general. Even if I don't always respond to them, I do tend to think most of them are funny. XD; It's all in the context!

Yeah, I have to enter the writing contest for the charity event in my signature. XD I need a shot at winning a hallopop and I think also the halloween pumpkin mask.. 'cause I can't find them in my inventory anymore, so I must have given my only copies away to my friend or as prizes. D:

I wish everyone did. Some people think I'm some sort of mass-murderer because of my sense of humor. That has led to some awkward moments at school, let me tell you.
|
A) Don't let that stop you. XD You don't get experience by doing nothing. XD
B) I can't really chide you here, because if I'm not in the mood to write, I generally don't. Forcing myself seems to make me cranky. Though I will admit sometimes when I make myself write, I can suddenly fall into the groove. It's relatively hit or miss.
C) Been there. :B
But as long as they're awkward moments at school and not the station house, you should be okay. XD

A) Not stopping. Hindering.
B) Yeah, I suffer from not taking public transportation as frequently as I used to. Some of my best ideas for writing have come from boredom on the train.
C) I live all of my days there.

I don't know how far from crossing that line I am, but I assume not very. Not by my own actions, but by the actions of others.

It's much different than I'm used to, though I can't say I'm usually very nice to my OCs. ;D It'll give me a chance to sharpen my non-comedy writing, as I'd say drama is a big weak point.
I'm going to have fun with it hopefully as I already have some ideas in mind and the first draft of my character profiles and backstory is finished.

fiarra - Yus, you can. XD
Thank you. :D
Not-lee - Hmm. I'd recommend taking the premise away from the cliche. Like the change having nothing to do with the moon's presence.
Like, just for example, in the Twilight series, the werewolves change when they get angry. Of course, you wouldn't want to rip that idea off or anything, but I mean, think along those lines.
Y'know, depending on if they're "good" werewolves or whatever, maybe they change when they get hungry.
Or maybe rather than primarily being a person and being a wolf secondarily, maybe they were born a wolf that can sometimes change into a man?
(Feel free to steal any of these ideas if you like them, I don't mind)
And thanks! :D Would you like me to let you know when I post the next chapter?
Ferra - Ooh, that sounds like a nice character development exercise. I'll have to remember that!
And for any other potential writers, another good character development idea is to write events (be they events that already happened in your fictional universe, ones that never will, or ones that are happening) from the first-person perspective of one of your characters. If you normally DO write in a first person, pick a character other than the usual character you narrate from, obviously.
CK - People without warped senses of humor are so boring. XD

@ also not-Lee
Well, the werewolf transformation is kinda key to the plot. It's more or less the classic werewolf, but the moon doesn't have to be full. My problem is how would a person in modern times be bitten and what career or lifestyle would he have to have to be in that situation. I'm considering making it a spontaneous thing...

@Cherry: I've got these particular characters fleshed out very well actually since we made them back in sophomore year of high school. XD (I'll be a junior at college this fall.) But I agree, it's fun to pick different characters and run with them for a while.
I've spent time thinking about and as all the characters from our story, but I find some much harder to capture than others. Unfortunately one of the two we picked (I say we as it's a joint effort with my friend, but all she'll be doing is art) is a character I have a lot of trouble with.

Ferra - Ooh, that sucks. But at least maybe this will help you work through your problems with the character?
The character I'm currently having issues with is actually my main character. XD She's sort of generic right now while my other two characters have very big, decided personalities. The lead is more subtle, so I'm still trying to figure her out.

Well all of our characters were originally based loosely on ourselves. Cole (who's based on the friend I'm working on this with) ended up becoming much like the "average guy", only with a variety of personality problems and bad habits. The fact everyone likes him even though he's so unlikeable makes it difficult to figure out how he'd act sometimes.

It's right next to the hole that I throw spamming noobs down ^^
