Shoes, like, ohmygahd, shoes!
>>; -shot-
@ cherry a few pages back:
YES! THAT SHINY MATERIAL! EXACTLY THAT!
-points while jumping up and down-
-cough- >>;
I think gladiator sandals would be so cute in that kind of material, in neon colors, or just colors, that are high, up to the top of your calf-ish.
As for Uggs... ugh.
I think we all share a common dislike for them. xD
Chucks... xP
I used to wear a pair just to be in the trend, but the place I got them at had the sizes mixed up, so I got one half a size bigger than the other...
And when we went to switch it out, I was in such a hurry that I grabbed a right shoe, so I had two. XD
They're both too small for me now, though. =P
You know, I don't really like the Vans slip-ons... >>;
They're so flat looking, and I can't tell if you're supposed to wear them with socks or not! D;
They shooooow. >>;
Like, I used to own a pair of cream/black checkered ones, and I would never be able to tell whether or not to wear ankle socks. ; o ;
And flats...
Bleh, I'm sorry, I'm tired of flats. xD;;
They've been in the trend for like, three years.
x____X;;
Really. I had a pair three years ago.
I have a pair of sneaker flats currently, which I'm just so sick of. >>;
I got them because I needed shoes, and there was nothing else that I had liked. =P

I think we're talking about Guitarhero having an estrogen imbalance. Quick - while he's vulnerable! Maybe we can make him a flamer! 8D
GuitarHeroGuitarHero - what shampoo do you use? Have you ever tried vanilla scented body lotion?
Prevent him from leaving, ladies! 8D

The shoe-fashion trend that I really loved and have never got into was wearing boxing boots. I don't know what it is about them, but I loved them since I first saw Supergirl wear them in the animated Superman show (with the Bruce Timm style animation).
Some of the proportions on the images I linked to on Google don't look quite right, but there are some styles I've seen that were just so awesome. D:
I feel like such a girl right now, having an entire conversation about shoes. ._.;

Those DO look kinda cool. ^^
tenten - Yes. Patent Leather neon gladiators would be full of so much win that it would just... win.
Oh, wow, that sucks about having two right shoes. XD Woops.
Vans just look a little awkward to me. They're sort of chunky. I don't like the chunky.
Eh, I don't care how long flats have been in for. I don't follow that stuff. I never understood the allure of rushing to get something just because someone ELSE said it was cool. I just buy what's cute. Granted, normally the stuff IS "in", but that's just because all stores sell is "in" stuff. Mostly.
I mean, I can appreciate a look being popular or something. That's natural. But buying something ONLY because it's "cool", regardless of your [as in ones. Not you personally] own opinion. Never understood that.
Aaaanyway. I think flats are cute. ^^ And I've only had flats for like, a year or so, so I haven't gotten sick of the style yet.
What I AM sick of is metallic shoes.... They're... not very cute. They're just sort of... bleh.
I'm also sick of those hobo bags with the GIANT sequins hanging off of them. @[email protected] Oh god, I'm so glad that those went "out." I hated those things. They were so obnoxious. o_o
Ahah. Now I bet someone in this thread loved those bags and will now hate me. >.<

I am reminded, belatedly, of other things I wanted to touch on, regarding shoes. XD
- Ugg boots are ugg. XD
For some absurd reason, they appear to be popular in California.
My brain does not compute this.
- Furry boots
I've seen some serious lose with this look... But I've also seen some equally serious win with it. I think you have to have a really solid personal style and the confidence to carry it off. If you look like you feel ridiculous wearing them, you are incredibly ridiculous. Also, you have to take care of them or they look like someone left a stuffed animal out in the rain. Very un-cool.
- Am I the only one who kills herself when wearing low heels and can walk a corner at a nice clip in three inch heels?
My ankles are weak. But I do better the higher they are. u_u;

CK - That's strange that you can walk easier in higher heels. I'm certainly not that way.
I've tried some heels before. I wobbled all over the place. XD
They have to be thick heels for me to be able to walk in them. But if they're skinny, I just can't do it.
And I'm afraid to walk in them, too. About 4-5 years ago, I tore a tendon in my ankle. For like, a year and a half, I'd sprain my ankle regularly, because it never got to fully heal. It'd get better and stop hurting, and a week later I'd twist it again.
It's been so long, so I'm sure all traces of that are gone. But I never want to have a sprained ankle AGAIN. D:

Alright, since everyone is complaining about the shoes topic... back to pokemans!
So, which pokemon game was the first that you got? And which was your favorite?

I CAN DO THIS TOPIC!!!
My brother actually had our house's first console. He got a Game Boy pocket and Pokemon Red for Christmas one year. He then later also got Blue, and I "borrowed" Red from him. The he got the Yellow Game Boy color that game with Pokemon Yellow so I officially got the pocket and Pokemon Red!!
Then we each bought Gold and Silver when they came out (silver was mine). He bought Sapphire I think when it came out, but by then I didn't want to spend more money on it.
Then we both got our own DS (although mine is a lite HAHA!!) and I bought myself a copy of Pearl.
I think my favorite is still Silver though. I like the addition of the new Pokemon while keeping the old flat style of the game. The new one is cool with a lot of new feature additions (like berries, etc), but it gets to be a little much if you want to hit all the points.

Blue was my first one.
My favorite is Crystal. It's got the berries and stuff, too. Quite fun. ^^
I've also got blue, silver, and yellow. But it's been ages since I played them.

I missed almost ten pages worth of conversation, but it didn't matter since it's back to pokemon again. XD (I own every pokemon game that's not a spin off aside from Yellow and Emerald.)
As far as shoes go, most of my shoes now are brown; I'm even wearing brown plaid shoes right now. XD; Whenever shoes comes up, I always think of that video with "Kelly" though. My friends and I used to sing that song back in high school. Either that or "Put shoe on head".
