yeah it goes at the waist over the yukata. If you take a look at recent snapshots, any girl wearing a yukata is gonna have one over. ^^

And no you can't change anything about the room except for the wallpaper. Unless there is an event, and then the room change is automatic.

Ohh, awesome.
I don't like yukatas at all. But the obis could be cool. I got one of those chest wrap thingies. The white one. It makes a cute tube top!

Curses. The sheets are cute, but I'd love to be able to change them. Maybe they'll introduce that feature someday. *shrug* Or other ways to customize the room. Like... furniture or something. Or rugs. That'd be cool.

This site is addicting. XD I haven't spent much time on Mene today because of it.

Yes I love the site and spend so much time on it! I like the chest wraps and accessories.. and those jackets. @[email protected] I have a couple yukata already and don't see much use in having tons since I don't use them often.

What's that from?
Wasn't it from the guy who talked about how grapes had a bunch so if you ate a bad one... er...
-doesn't remember-
._. ;
-doesn't know her standup comedians-

I don't really like stand-up... xD;
I mean, I can see why some people think it's funny, but meh, it doesn't really appeal to me. >>;;

On a dance-related note, I just watched Step Up 2. xD
It was a dancey and stuff. The plot was just a tad predictable, though, but I mean...
The main thing is the dance, and that's the part they want to showcase. =P

tenten: Yea. dimitri marten.

Most standup doesn't really appeal to me, but sometimes it's amusing.

And on the subject of dance, I watched Strictly Ballroom last night. Well.. re-watched. It too is really cheesy, sappy and predictable. But I love it anyway!!! <33

Didn't they get rid of that feature where on your profile you could set the colour for your posts? Flink can't remember if that got moved from the test forums to the real ones. x.x

ALSO HI EVERYONE! -waves- Heyla, Tenten.<3

Oooh, so that's his name.
I saw it on Comedy Central once. There were lots of fruits.
...-wants an apple now- >>;

...-now has one- Yay~ xD;

Ooh. xD
I like cheesy predictable movies if the plotline's not the main attraction. =P
Especially dance movies. X3
Most musicals have good plotlines, though, so that's not a problem. xD
Like, a lot of slapstick comedies have no plot at all, but they can still be funny ( I'm not usually one for slapstick, though ).
I have to say, though, most movie parodies just look really lame now.
I mean, Epic Movie? Disaster Movie?
They just look overrated and pretty dumb in a not-funny way.

FLINK!!! Yea that feature didn't get translated over to here from the testing forums. *woe*

tenten: All those parody movies look sooo lame. I don't even bother watching.

I am starting the awful process of applying to grad school.. again. This is the third time and I'm starting to really just not be motivated anymore.

That's how Flink's getting with her job hunting. Which is sad. x.x With her funds CURRENTLY, she has enough for birth control for two months and her cellphone bill. XD

BC (birthcontrol) she needs to regulate stuffs. ^-^;

The current parodies do look really stupid. They're taking this parody everything from the previous year thing way overboard. x.x

Really? Flink really liked that feature. The testers should beg to have it re-added. XD

Bah! I keep straying off and coming back too late. xD

@ Flink:
We could start a petition to get it back. xD

Still? D: Aww.
Do you have a temp job currently?

Yeah, and some of it isn't really funny anymore...
XP
I mean, the Scary Movies were actually funny. They were good spoofs.

*fluffs Flink* Job hunting is similarly depressing. My current position is up in Feb and I don't like the thought of having to find another job to kill time between then and potential school.

tenten: :o

:) :) :) :)

There's only room for 4 pics in the siggy so I had to edit out the emote. Lesson learned, I will only take on 3 eggs at a time from now on.

Flink doesn't have a job at all. She went to some temp/job placement places. One of them only had jobs from like... January. Another said they had nothing, but for Flink to check back. The first had its doors closed, with a sign saying, "We no longer accept applicants due to lack of jobs" or something like that.

A lot of places she's emailed her resume to have said that the position was recently terminated due to cutbacks, or the company was closing down, or that a lot of positions are being terminated so they have no new jobs. (She mentions in her email that if they have any other positions they feel she'll fit, to contact her.)

It's getting annoying. XD The ONE job offer she got didn't want her because she hadn't worked since November. She tried there earlier but at the time she wasn't as desperate as she is, seeing as it's a long ways off. XD

A petition.. Wait, Flink's not the only one who wishes it was transferred over? XD

I can't reply to everything I missed.

But, hi Flink! *hugs* Haven't seen you much.

I'm having problems getting a job, too. >.< I've never had a job, don't have a highschool diploma and am not currently attending school, and am under 18, so I look really bad on an application. >.< So no one wants me.

Maybe they can hurry up and hatch and grow so we can shove that emote back in. xD

@ Flink:
Awww. DD:
Where are you getting your funds currently?

What kind of job are you looking for currently?
Something writing, right? >>; -tries to remmember-

xD
I'm sure most of Mene would appreciate it.
I mean, I don't really use colored text anymore... >>;
But I'm know a lot of others do and that it would be really convenient!
I remember getting all hyped up because we had it. xD

Maybe we could get a size thingy, too. O:
Just have everything in there so no one has to format their posts anymore. xD
-lazy-

Edit;
@ Cherry:
Currently not attending school? o-o;
As in, now, like haven't started yet, or now, as in this year?

Get a GED or equivalent? You can't really get ANY job these days without a diploma.

Hell, many jobs require a degree or some college education. x.x

Flink's not sure anymore. XD She has training in web design and tech support for computers/Windows, yay for random classes! She'd LIKE a job like her old one. She designed ads for a newspaper. She loved that job, she got to use photoshop and make the pictures of the houses for the real estate section look great. She even added grass toa few houses. XD

Her interest in web design is dwindling. The place she's currently "working" for is horribly unorganized. They want her to do their inventory for the website too, but their price listing is handwritten, in a word document, in some guy's head. Even then it's not complete and the handwritten and word document have made up names for most of the stuff. Like triangles are "triangle 1", "triangle 2." Not brand name, type of triangle, or anything FLINK would find useful. The whole experience is just killing her love of web design.

Nancy - I'm homeschooled. But applications don't take that into consideration. They as what school you're attending and have no room for you to say "I'm not a retard, I'm just homeschooled" so you have to say "I am not attending school" and then they say "OMG UR A FUKING LOSER DROPOUT LOLOLOL" (not really)
Which isn't fucking fair. I can stock shelves just as easily as someone attending highschool. Maybe even better, depending on who that person is. Y'know, they could be a total klutz that knocks things over, or they have no attention to detail and will just kinda toss things up on the shelves and walk away. I'm just as capable as someone going to highschool.

Flink - Well, places hire teens. That's what I'm looking for. I'm not looking for like, a career or something. I don't expect a business or something to hire me. I just want to work in retail. You know, Target or something. Why should I need a diploma to do that? Is advanced algebra going to help me push buttons on a cash register? Is biology or creative writing going to help me put clothes on a rack? (The frustration and sarcasm here isn't directed at you AT ALL. It's directed at the stores.)

And I'm studying for my GED right now. But I'm really behind. On most subjects. So... it's going to be a bit. D: And I'm moving out in a year, so I sort of need some kind of job experience so I can get some kind of a job when I move.
