Well it smells really strong and it lasts for ages. It's alot stronger than the ones you buy from the store although it's the same perfume.

You'd go in somewhere and someone will come out with "Who's wearing (insert name of perfume here)" it's quite funny.

I'll learn shading soon enough. The drawing I did today had a little shading.

I can offer help.

One good thing for them is a moldable eraser. Those things are so fucking handy. They can lighten your pencil marks without totally erasing them. And they don't leave eraser dust. And they don't wear down, either.

And get a piece of paper then fold it a few times into a stiff point and rub that on your shaded areas. It blends the lines so it doesn't look so scribbly. You can see the strokes then.
You CAN do it with your finger, but there's less precision, and then you have a dirty finger.

BLU-TAC!!!! It's amazing for shading *nods* Also very good when you need to lighten color when you decide you don't like the original color of the pencil crayon. Also very good to stick down the side of your hand and wrist so you don't smudge your pencil all over your work.

I googled it and it looks like pretty much the same thing as a moldable eraser. ^^

Blu-tac, or sticky tac, isn't supposed to be used for the things I use it for. It's a resuable adhesive with many other uses than sticking up posters.

^ I giggled.

I don't really like shading... xD;;;
It doesn't scan very well for me. >3>;
Plus, my lines are usually fairly light, so most of my pencil work can't be seen anyway.
T_____T

I lovelovelove traditional art; I prefer it over CG, but...
-sigh-
Scanner... it just... makes it look bad. ._. ;

HIM - Yeah, I know, but they're still pretty similar. ^^

Nanan - Ohgod, I thought the same thing when I typed that. xDD I was going to say something about it, but I didn't think anyone would catch it, so I decided not to. xD
I've corrupted you, haven't I?

Draw it light when you're starting, and then once you have everything all finished up (no more erasing needed), then go over it with harder, darker lines.
Or you can go over it with a pen or super fine tip sharpie like I do. Then once the pen or sharpie has dried (so it won't smudge) go over it with an eraser just so you don't have little pencil marks sticking out from under the ink looking sloppy.

@Christy:
You corrupted me a long time ago.
;O

Eeeh, I know what you mean, but things go awry when I trace over it. xD;
I've tried it before, didn't work out, still doesn't work. =P
As for the pen thing, I've tried my hand at inking before, too. >>;
It doesn't really have the same effect, and the lines are all weird.
I guess it's a style thing. xD;

I'm okay with CG lining, though, because the size of the line is way easier to control, and there's always the CTRL+Z. :P
