My pseudonym is Thaddeus T. Washington. I dubbed myself that after drawing a fancy mustache on my finger and leaning on my hand.

I'VE DONE THAT BEFORE. xD I've done like, one on each finger. So I went in to talk to my mom and then just casually leaned against my hand and then I had this big curly mustache.
I also had a french man mustache, a hitler mustache, and I think another, but I forgot what it was.
Somewhat on the topic of pseudonyms, I've considered one day writing a memoir under one. I mean, not that I think I'd get published, but if it did, I'd have to. What I have to say about people isn't very nice. xD; Not super bitchy, but if I were talk about certain experiences in my life, I would tell it like it was and not sugar coat people to protect their feelings.
But really, if the person reads the book they'll probably recognize the story, regardless of whether the writer uses a fake name or not. Unless they just get a brief mention, they're going to realize "wait... this happened to me... just like that..."
Augusten Burroughs got sued for that very reason. Wrote a memoir, changed names, the people sued anyway because they claim he was exaggerating and making shit up. But the thing is, if they hadn't made such a big stink about it, no one would have known it was them in that book EXCEPT for them. But by going "OMGHAX" they pretty much put neon signs pointing to them saying "LOOK AT US, WE'RE THOSE FREAKS IN THAT BEST-SELLING MEMOIR!"
Dumbasses. xD

Yea, they're the only reason people figured out it was them.
No matter HOW true you are to things... if you're writing something and involve other people, real people, they'll almost always disagree. Think you're making them look bad, exaggerating, etc.

That's why I turned all my friends and myself into caricatures of ourselves, so we all know that everything is exaggerated. :B (In writing that is.)

Well, at leaat they're exaggerating a nice characteristic. Besides, maybe you're funnier than you think. I don't really put people I know into my stories. I may do someday though...

Yup. People don't like the truth. But I can't condemn them too much, because I'm sure I'd be a little butt-hurt over an accurate depiction of myself from someone else's eyes.
I'm all peppy here, but trust me, I CAN BE SO GODDAMN EMO SOMETIMES. xD

Well, that's probably more of caricatures of positive traits, right? Like, making a cheerful person ULTRA PEPPY or something. Or at least bringing out qualities that they're well aware of and are okay with.

And does anyone know of some good download sites for it? (I already downloaded about seven hundred items BUT I WANT MOAR!)

@Cherry: Actually, it's both positives and negatives. We all made characters based on ourselves back in high school, but they're only loosely based on us. We do have one who was always happy-peppy so we took her character to the extreme, but that aspect is almost a negative in itself really. Then there's another person who's character was made to be a heavy drinker, smoker, and womanizer, which at the time was far from true but now is a bit more accurate. XD; (Not so much on the womanizing though.)
My character is smart and nice, but super geeky and pathetic when it comes to romance. So I guess that's fairly true too, ha ha.

Silver - I would look, but as you know, I can't load sims at all right now, so that might tease me. D: But as soon as I can, I'll look!
Ferra - True. But they're all okay with the caricatures, I assume.

I spend hours on my character sketches. I'd imagine carictures would reduce that time quite a bit!

Well we took the vague and skewed personalities and fleshed them out as characters, so really they're kind of separate from who we are, but we can still sort of use them to represent ourselves. It's rather odd, but it was fun to have a story that only those on the "in" really understood, except I think it frustrated some people who were on the fringe.
I spend forever on character sketches, but that's just because I like exploring their personalities. XD Usually my characters develop as they go along though, so there's no sense trying to map everything out at first.
