I've moved on to listening to Disney songs in different languages. I've decided that most Disney music translates well into Russian surprisingly.

Also... I totally LOVE The Lion King 2.... T_T I'm so pathetic.

The Friends theme song one is awesome. I like that whole song, but I'd never stopped to listen to the lyrics until I watched that rant. And now I always think about it whenever I hear the song.

No.. not the normal Lion King. The sequel! Straight-to-DVD and totally awesome. According to Wiki, it's the highest selling direct-to-vid animated movie of all time.

I actually had noticed some of the inconsistencies he pointed out (with both songs!) before I heard his rant. XD But now I can't listen to either the Friends theme or that Sugar Ray song without going, "Arrrgh. XDD"

Probably highest-selling because it's Lion King related. XD That movie is insane-popular. I don't think I ever watched Lion King 2. I don't think I could. Even when my co-worker was playing Kingdom Hearts and they were in the Pridelands, it made me feel kind of queasy... The same way you would feel if you stuffed yourself full of your favorite dessert and then got very sick and can't eat it anymore. u_u;

I have to say, "Friend Like Me" from Aladdin is excellent in Japanese. The guy sounds a lot like Robin Williams and seems like he had fun singing it. XD *listens to it every now and then*

A non-Disney animated song that gets kind of addicting is this one. XD It sounds ridiculous in English though.

@CK: Don't bother watching Lion King 2. D: Seriously. I want to punch my friend in the face whenever she starts singing "In Upendi".

T_T I thought the Lion King 2 was cute, but I can understand the "too much of something" feeling.

Ha ha! I love that part. XD

It's one of the more watchable sequel films they made, but it still doesn't do Lion King justice. The songs were awful, I hated that they gave Simba a brat daughter instead, the explaination behind where the other lion group came from was weak, especial Kovu's origin.

I just wasn't a big fan. ^^; As far as Disney sequels go, the only ones I really like are the Rescuers Down Under and Aladdin and the King of Thieves. (Pixar doesn't count since all their movies are great. XD)

The Rescuers series was amazing and I love them to bits. Agree that as a sequel it was a little weak, but I like lions... ._.'' At least it wasn't... Cinderalla 2... or whatever that BS was that they released. xD

*listens to music from Quest for Camelot* That DVD is always in the $5 bin at Walmart.. and it makes me sad.
