Yeah, it's not going so well for me.
I'm good with English and okayishkindof with History, but science and math are weak points for me.
I like science, but... and math is okay, but that requires physical teaching. I had been catching up some, but then we got out of the swing of it for a few weeks.
Luckily, MOST of the GED (math parts notwithstanding) are just basically reading comprehension.
They tell you about something, like, say, an event in history, and then are like "Based on the previous text, which of the following could be assumed to be true?" and then gives you some answers. It's really quite easy. I just need to lern how to do the mathz.

I'm the best at science AND English. A kind of weird combination...

In my experience people either love math and hate english (or just general writing-related things. Varies by country) or love english and hate math. People rarely like both. xD
Most likely because they're complete opposites and most people work in one way that is incompatible with the other subject.

I also love science and English, but I agree that math is not my passion. It's kind of frustrating having interests on such opposites ends of the spectrum since all those tests to help you determine where your interests lie are no help at all. XD

In the end I went with something that focused on foreign culture/language, which is somewhat ironic since foreign language is one of the few subjects I really struggle with. I do love it though, even if it doesn't come naturally.

Challenging yourself is good, so long as you're not one of those people who doesn't handle challenges and frustration well. (I.E. me xD)

Well, it's generally a right-brained/left-brained thing. I'm slightly more right brained, but it's pretty balanced, which is why I can do both fairly well. I don't enjoy math, but I'm good at it. I can also draw and I'm chorus and drama. (Well I tried to be in drama, but apparently I can't act in high school productions, even though I was in the crucible in Michigan.)
