I'm a sucker for musicals so I love the old version. I feel like both worked in their own way to capture the feel of the book. I personally loved the sequel too. I tried to explain it to a friend once I they ended up asking me if I was on some form of crack. Then I showed him the wiki article and laughed. xD

I like Old Navy for some of their pants and zip-up hoodies..

Flink's not a big fan of Old Navy either. But mostly because the stores never sell her size. XD

And none of that "it's sold online" crap. If Flink isn't good enough to be in the store t buy their clothes, she's not buying them. She may be fat and ugly, but she doesn't need some clothing brand to tell her that. >.>

I don't hate Old Navy, but I just don't shop there. It tends to be more expensive than what I want to shell out, and the clothes just don't warrant it at all. They're nice, but they tend to be so plain and generic. I could pick up something very similar somewhere else for a lot cheaper. >>

Other than that, I have to agree with Cherry's analysis: Basic clothes of mediocre quality at overpriced costs. And fairly lame styles, usually.

But..ah..I was only critiquing the commercials earlier ;P They fail even worse than the store does.

Oh, right, and Willy Wonka.. say what you will about the movies, but there is a defining factor that makes the second one both horrifically inane and yet the surefire winner in any contest:
It has a squirrel that literally kicks butt.

Not this last holiday season, but the one before that, Old Navy played these commercials CONSTANTLY with this REALLY REALLY irritating song by this chick who SHOULD NEVER BE ALLOWED TO SING AGAIN.
Made me hate Old Navy.
And then last year's CONSTANT playing of their bikini commercials with all these skinny bitches looking so smug. >>

Now they're doing those mannequin commercials, right? Is that Old Navy?
They're dumb, but they don't bug me. Almost clever.

Yea now all their advertising lacks real people.

*shrug* Like I said, it's mostly the pants that I like. Mostly because I can NEVER find jeans that fit me right, except at Old Navy. The sad part being that even they've failed the last couple times. ^^;

Darkeyes - It means that they're testing me as a moderator. I have a "trial" period where I have all the capabilities of a moderator, but I'm not yet officially a moderator, nor do I have the ability to view the moderator staff forum. If at the end of the time (and I'm actually not sure what it is. It may not be a set time), the higher-ups decide I have made a good mod and I've decided that I like being a mod, then I'll be a full moderator. But if the higher-ups decide I have not a satisfactory job, or if I decide that moderatoring is more than I can handle, I'll go back to being a regular user.

@ Cherryhaggy - It's a condition where you can (One example) taste colours. :'D
