@Jennifer: Well if you're geared mostly towards RPing, then a world doesn't matter so much. You can just adapt your character to whatever the setting is. ^^ For Brody (that's my blonde OC guy with glasses), I have put him in many different kinds of settings and adapt his character/background accordingly. Most of my other OCs are less flexible since their identities are very fixed to either the setting or to some of the other characters involved.

And really, it doesn't take a whole lot to get an RP started. I did a lot of casual silly RPs as well as more in-depth sort of serious ones. You can find and stick with an area you like or jump around and try new things. :yes:

Try to find a person (or group) that is somewhat experienced and seems to be going in the same direction you have in mind for your character. As long as you don't pester the crotchety elitist types who seem to have it out for new RPers, you should be fine and have a lot of fun. XD

The only RPs I've ever done were extremely silly ones. Extremely silly. xD
I could be made to do a serious one, but it'd have to be really good. I'm not interested in boring, run-of-the-mill RPs or vent-your-sexual-frustration RPs. xD

However, if someone wants to do a super silly RP with me, I'm totally up for that. xD
