Yeah, it's good for that, but a lot of the times people you knew but were never friends with will add you and then never talk to you and that annoys the shit out of me. :lol: Although, I suppose you don't get that as much since you're homeschooled...

Probably not as much as you do, no. But I do get it occasionally. Little child'n from my drama class who I never spoke to (except maybe to hush them during rehearsals) adding me. What was weird was one of those little girls added me and then like... freaked all the hell out because I said "damn" somewhere and it wasn't directed at her. Then she goes on about how she looked up to me and I'm a terrible person. :rofl: Before she added me, I knew her face, and I knew her name, but I didn't even know they went together! I knew her that little! She never ever talked to me. :lol:
But damn, do I hate those acquaintances on facebook. They always add me, and most of the time I know them at least a bit better than that girl. So then it's like "I have no reason to add you, but I have no reason NOT to add you..." so then I add them because I figure that since they added me, they must actually want to have a friendship with me. But then I just rot on their friendslist and they clog up my newsfeed with stupid "JENNA LIKES [STUPID EMO QUOTE] ON STUPIDLIKINGTHINGS.COM" bullshit, and they never make any attempt to talk to me, so then I just remove them one day. You may notice I don't even have 100 friends over there. I remove people regularly. :lol:

What's really awkward, though, is one time one of the guys re-added me... Without saying anything. So I guilt-added him and... he hasn't talked to me. I tried to say something to him, but he just... never responded. Goddamn am I ever confused.

I have almost 200 friends on there, but I only talk to about... ten-twenty of them on a regular basis. :roll:
I have this one guy who keeps emailing me and trying to add me on Facebook and he says we met at a summer camp, but I literally have NO recollection of him. I believe him, but I find it disconcerting that he's SO convinced I should remember him, so I never accept his requests. xD
That girl sounds awful! What kind of prude gets all butthurt over the word "damn"?! >_>
Oh, and did you know you can hide certain people from showing up in your newsfeed? Much less effort/guilt than removing the friend. You just hover over the top right corner of the post and a little "Hide" button shows up and you can choose to hide the friend or the application they're posting with (i.e. Pet Society).

I have no idea! I mean, maybe I shit shit or fuck or something, but like... I looked on my profile when she did that, and I didn't even see anything. She would have had to have like, dug far back or been digging through things I had commented on or something. I honestly don't even know what it was that pissed her off, but suddenly she's like "WHAT'S WITH ALL THE CUSSING?!" and go ons about how she looked up to me and all that, so I responded to her basically telling her it's not my problem. So rather than replying to me, she posts a status message like "upset by Christy's comments," and so I just deleted her. Then the little brat messages me, further whining and telling me how I "don't have to do this." She was acting like I was a fucking drug addict or something! :lol: So then I just blocked her. :lol:

Yeah, I hide a lot of people. But after a while it gets to the point where it's like... "I forgot I even had this person on my friends list, why do I need them here?"
Honestly, it feels relieving for me to remove people I never talk to. It's like a weight off my shoulders.
