Well yes. It can be tracked. And it's not like their posts are of horrendous quality. It's just... more time that I have to allot to that activity. It's gotten a bit exhausting.

Same. People tweet way too much. I try to keep who I follow on tumblr well edited, though, so it's more manageable.

Also, i ended up following too many people and it became a chore toread all those posts, no matter how interesting they were.

I've not been on tumblr for basically three days now, and I'm too chicken to take the leap to log on again. I know myself too well, it's likely I could bog myself down backtracking to see all the posts I missed.
Oh Cherry, I found something pretty neat on there the other day. A blog dedicated entirely to Noel's wardrobe, where you can get it (or similar pieces) and how much they cost. He seems to be keeping it real, worth millions but still buying fairly inexpensive things.

Just backtrack ten pages, or until you start to feel bored, then stop and declare yourself starting fresh. Fun sites shouldn't feel like a chore! Although I know what you mean, I tend to do the same thing...

Hm, that's a pretty cool idea! I can't say that I'd want to personally dress like Noel Fielding, though.

Yeah, but I don't think there are any Hasselhoff stencils. Plus, there would still be a lot of details. I haven't carved a pumpkin in at least a decade, so I can't say I'm handy with a carving knife! I'd end up making him look seriously deformed. And pointy. Curves aren't easy to do.

Kita - It's not too late! You can still go out and buy one and carve it tomorrow. :) I know at Walmart they were selling big huge ones for just about $3. And that's a flat rate too, you don't pay per pound.

As I currently have like fifty cents to my name, I would have to ask my boyfriends mama, and I don't think she'd do it just for one day. :/

Well, no reason not to keep a pumpkin after Halloween, but if you don't have the money, it's understandable. There's always next year! :)

Next year, I shall have to prove to saro that I can use a carving knife. >_>;
He knows how clumsy I am, so I don't think he thinks its safe...
BUT at home I had a freaking pumpkin carving set and I have never hurt myself, and I've done jack-o-lanterns for years.
Its one thing I can do with a sharp object without slicing my hand open.

I can't do anything elaborate, mind you, because my hands shake, but basic stuff is easy. =3

The only time I ever kept a pumpkin after Halloween was the year I painted one for a contest. I painted a scene from Inu-Yasha on it, with Kagome and Inu-yasha, and I was WAY proud of it, because it took forever and looked really good. [/brag] and so I kept it on a table in my room until it started going bad, and then I took it into the back yard and smashed it with a sledgehammer. ^__^ This scattered pumpkin seeds everywhere, and I would've had my own full-grown little pumpkin patch later down the line, if the dog hadn't decided she wanted to dine on pumpkin vines and baby pumpkins. TT_TT

I don't think pumpkin knives are even that sharp...

Yeah, pumpkins keep for ages! It was probably, what, March when you had to smash it? We grew one this year, descended from the seeds of one we got last year but never got around to carving. It stuck around for so long before we finally had to toss it in the compost pile.

Oh, mine were. My father sharpened them. O.o

March or April. Even then it wasn't badly messed up, but it was getting a big soft spot and I was too attached to it to watch it decompose. So I smashed it. XD

Ah. Well, I don't think they come particularly sharp. I mean, you could definitely hurt yourself with one, but not too easily, I'd think. Just as long as you saw AWAY from you and not TOWARDS you, I think you'd be fine.

Oh wow, and I was exaggerating a bit!
