I think it's my favourite episode. And not just because Mr. Barrett does stupendous work in it.
I'm going to have to watch it through right now to check that there's no objectionable content that I've forgotten about. Yes, that's the reason :ninja:
Edit: Oh, thank you! It's early days, early days -nods sombrely-
I surmised that much. I haven't really watched enough of that show. My mom's kind of been into it, though, what with it being on syndication. So, that's good.
Apparently there's Darkplace "documentaries" from the Dvds on youtube!
there appears to be another one, but I haven't come across the first section of it yet, only parts 2-4.
Note that I have not watched these yet, so there could be swearing up the wazoo and gratuitous nudity in there for all I know at this point.
Edit: Oh lord, I'm watching it now with the Google Transcribe Auto captions on. My brain might not survive this.
Also, I found the other one:

Okay, a play by play of a fictional asleep leg is not very interesting. So. Topic of conversation. It's generally just us ladies in here, so... clothes?

Reason: That came out all sorts of wrong.
Yeah, clothes. I paid a chunk of cash for a satin gown/robe set and after like three days, the strap broke. I want to know why, when I pay more for things, the quality tends to be worse than cheap things. D:
Biggz - All I could think of when you said that was Goofy, and then I imagined him in a rage.
Kita - I KNOW! I don't often buy clothes at walmart, but the things I have bought there and from comparable stores have been fine. Maybe not the best fit or details in that definition of quality, but they've never popped apart at the seams or anything. I go to a slightly more expensive store (like JCPenney or Old Navy), and I see things that have (unintentional) holes on them and they haven't even been bought yet. :/
You might be able to reattach the strap, though? I'd think it would just take a few stitches.
Well that's certainly different. I kiiiind of want to try it though. Kind of.
I love vinegar. Vinegar chips are the best. But sometimes they're not strong enough so I dip them in straight vinegar. Then I can't taste anything for the rest of the day. :insane:
I love thrift shops too! Almost all of my clothes were thrift purchases and it doesn't show at all.
Sweet! I love finding great jeans at thrift stores. I once found a pair of Armani jeans for $3-4. :o But the brand isn't what matters. Although I'd hope that means that these won't be falling apart.
I went shopping today at Old Navy... and forgot to bring money... That was not embarrassing at all.
Well, I had went there specifically to spend money. I was able to get one thing, I had a few bucks in my purse, but I had to pass up a 97 cent tee shirt that I really liked because I was about 50 cents short. That was... ridiculous. I've really got to open a new bank account so I won't have that problem again. I tend to keep my wallet stocked for thrift shopping, where having $9 is quite a lot.
i wish i had been behind you in line, Cherry.
i would have given you the fifty cents.
i did that at the grocery the other day.
and i gave her my coupons i didn't use and she had enough left over to return almost all i gave her.
i told her to keep it and just pass it on when ever she gets a chance.
