Biggles - Yes, but the problem is that I'd like to keep "Cherry" in my name for recognizability (new word - too sick to care to find the right one :lol:). I've been here almost 5 years, that's a lot of time spent here and a lot of reputation to just throw away by getting a new name. I've seen a lot of other users do that - they might keep "I used to be [name!]" in their signature for a bit, but not everyone will see that, and so then a month later you see them and have no clue who they are.

Unfortunately, just plain "Cherry" is taken, and while I could make a variation of that (like `Cherry) people would forget that punctuation mark and if they pinged me or something, they'd ping "Cherry," not me. So that really restricts me and I haven't been able to think of much. All I've come up with is "Cherry Who," which I kind of like, but it sounds like a Doctor Who thing, which it actually isn't. It's more along the lines of Mick Jagger wearing the "Who the fuck is Mick Jagger" shirt. Just kind of a joke. Meta name, almost.

The want is something that's fairly short, contains (preferably starts with) Cherry, isn't ambiguous with another user, is difficult to google, and doesn't have any sort of connotations (toyed with Cherry Tart or Cherry Pie, but they sort of had a stripper sound to them, I guess :? Cherry Pie would be better if it weren't for that song)

Why not CherryBerry? Cheriberry? VeryBerryCherry. ScaryCherry. CherryFlarey........................ *crawls out of thread*

Yes! I feel less ridiculous now. Before I felt weird sending asks to people who I was in mutual followship with because I'd have to preface the whole thing telling them who I was. Also worried they wouldn't know who I was when I liked/followed. It was just an awkward situation and I'm glad I finally fixed it. Worried I might have confused some people, but it looks like most of them made the switch to the new one. I've still got 36 followers on the old one, though. Some of those have already followed the new one, so I don't know why they're following the old one... they're just gonna get spammed with that "I moved!" notification posting twice a day. :lol: A bunch others are, I think, inactive.
