Aww, you got the warmest room in the house, HIM? I'm sorry to hear that. If you've got curtains or blinds, closing those in the afternoon might help it a bit. So would keeping your door open and positioning a fan near it to pull in cool air from the rest of the house. Might help a bit.

Keyori - I have an aloe plant! I got it because I wanted another houseplant and I was having this awful streak of burning myself while cooking. Some really nasty burns. Of course, now that I've got the plant I haven't burned myself once. :lol: Just as well, though, I don't think I could bring myself to break it. I get emotionally attached to plants. >>

Hatake - Ooh, you're selling a hammer of thor. I need one of those. Too broke to buy it right now, though.

My dad had one. It was HUGE! But it worked like magic though, way better than the gel you buy at the store. Just cut one of the leaves open and rub it on the burn and it feels SO much better!

Keyori - Yeah, the gels from the store never work very well for me. Either I have a burn so minor that ice does just fine on its own or else it's too painful for the gel to do anything to. Ugh, I got one like that from steam... that was a nasty burn. 6 hours later I still couldn't take ice off it for more than a few seconds or it'd get so bad I'd be in tears. I'm not sure how I fell asleep that night, but luckily it was better in the morning.

If I get the aloe on when I start to feel the heat but before it turns red, I usually don't burn at all, it's so awesome!

Okie doke, on my mule now. I've got an extra Steampunk Headgear which seems to be worth roughly the same amount as Thor's Hammer (if current MP prices are to be believed - I don't really keep up with prices, so who knows). Does that sound fair to you, hummy? I've got other CIs if that's no good.

I swear, you just picked two "gossip" type things that I actually know about, I normally don't know this kind of stuff. :lol: I know about the Hoff incident because of its ridiculousness and my like of Hoff as a cheesy icon, and I knew about the Baldwin thing because I really like him on 30 Rock. But I swear if you asked me about almost anything else celebrity-related I'd have no clue. :lol:
