Aww, that's really sweet, Cherry! <3
We've been really affectionate ever since we officially became a couple. For our first kiss, he took me to a romantic spot by the ruins of a castle where you could see the whole city lit up at night.

Wow, how romantic! For our first kiss, the boyf and I were just sitting on my floor, playing Super Smash Brothers.

I went on an adventure this last weekend. My boyfriend and I went on a road trip down to Tochigi, where we ate tons of delicious food, saw cool historical sites (such as the shrines/temples in Nikko), and went shopping at the fancy outlet malls.
It was our first trip together, and the first time we'd spent more than a day constantly in each other's company, so I feel like I learned a lot about our relationship. I had a great time trying new things and going new places with him.
What have you been up to lately, Cherry?

That sounds so great! I'm glad you're having so much fun with your guy!
I haven't up to much that's exciting... but things are good. Getting into the new semester and trying to get a feel for all my new professors. It's really different than last semester. >< I feel like last semester, all my professors kept a similar pace. This semester, it's all over the place and it's throwing me off. My English professor regularly lets us out half an hour early and has already taken a whole week off class (during which we each came to him individually for a five minute conference where he discussed the first paper we wrote and mistakes on it). My speech professor seems "normal." My child psych teacher goes fast and expects us to have everything memorized as soon as we understand it. And my sociology teacher is slower than molasses and will spend the entire class talking about almost nothing. Bluuurgh!
Things with the boyf are going well! I'm really looking forward to spending valentines day with him. I got him a gift I know he's going to love, I made him a cool card, and I'm going to attempt to bake his favorite type of cookies before he comes over. We're probably gonna just chill at my place, watch a movie, play some video games, etc. That's what we usually do, and I love it! We can spend so much time together then, and we can talk and stuff more than if we were on a formal date, where our attention would be more on whatever the date was. And if we get really lucky, it'll start snowing too bad to drive in. I got snowed in at his house last week and had to spend the night. On his couch, of course.

I got my hair cut (badly) by a man named Holly, who had pigtails, which was interesting. I also got some great new nail polish, which Holly overcharged me for by 50%. Holly also apparently couldn't operate the corded phone that was on the desk in the salon. And by couldn't operate, I mean he was turning it upside down and stuff. O_o I think he was just high as a kite, but still. >_>
That's all I've been doing, besides planning for my trip next month. 5 weeks away from bf, and we haven't been apart since I moved in. At least we have Valentines Day, I guess.

@Cherry: I know what you mean about professors being all over the place. That seems to be the norm, and they always act like their class is the only one that matters when they assign you homework or projects. You get to be pretty good at managing your time efficiently (and get used to spending some nights with less sleep than what's ideal).
And I'm so glad you've been having a great time with your guy too. I agree that hanging out "dates" and a lot better than formal dates, but I don't mind going out sometimes too.
I wasn't really planning to do anything special for Valentine's day, but now that my bf informed me that he has the night off from work, I should get him something. I need to hurry up and buy a chocolate-making kit. In Japan, girls give chocolate on V-day and guys give gifts on White Day, a month later.
@`Kitami: Yikes, what terrible service! D: I hope he didn't mess up your hair too badly. I need to get my hair cut again soon since it's been over a year since I had it trimmed. I'm hoping it's not too badly damaged. >__>; I like it long, but I have a feeling they're going to have to cut a lot of it off.

@Kitami: So... did you just move in together without ever dating? For me, I liked the initial trial period of dating before we became intimate and spent time at each other's homes. But we don't live together. I think we'll only move in together if we get married, but I don't see that happening for at least another year since we've only been dating for six months. And getting married would mean that I commit to living in Japan for the rest of my life, which... I still have mixed feelings about.

Its complicated, Ferra. We met on Mene almost two years ago. We lived 800 miles apart, and we did a LDR for a few months, and then my grandpa passed away, and a couple months after that, I was having kind of a meltdown, and he called at like 2am and asked if I'd like to live with him, and I said yes. O_o Its like....months later I thought about it, and like in hindsight it was really, um, impulsive. It worked out beautifully, but you know. >_>
