Hear here! O.o I mean, there's been so much, quite frankly, crap going up on the big screen lately. Well, not, you know, total crap, just not $15-plus-gas worthy.

I'm excited about it for the fact that it's Alice in Wonderland.
Sadly I don't expect great things out of it.
Like all movies involving Johnny Depp (and this is not actor bashing) they make his part seem to great.
The mad hatter does have a god sized role in the story but it seems to be the only person advertising the new movie.

They're taking advantage of his recent popularity, is all. But yeah, they do tend to blow his parts out of proportion.

*random entering of the topic* I love how it's set to when she's 17 and she doesn't remember Wonderland at all. It should be a totally awesome movie. :)

I love Alice's adventures in wonderland and Through the looking glass, I've reread them more often then the girls at my reread school Twilight. However I don't want to see this movie in theaters, I may rent it, but its not one that's making me jump out of my seat to go see it in theaters.

So far my belief is that the only person to re-do Alice In Wonderland right would be American McGee's video game, American McGee's Alice. The way he did it was that Alice (Who is about 14 in the game) went insane after leaving Wonderland when her parent and sister died in a fire, she then needs to go back to Wonderland (which is only in her head) and kill the red queen to fix her self.

I don't like the sound that...That does it, I'm pretty sure I won't be seeing this in theaters.

im excited to see it, but still im a bit skittish about it.
i love his style, but he has this dispairingly horrible tendency to be anti climactic... and really, if the climax is shit, then the movie isnt worth seeing twice...

Ain't that the truth! xD like with Sweeny Todd: (Highlight to see what I'm saying because I don't want to risk spoiling it for someone) You could tell from the first time that the begging lady was going to be his wife, not just because its a musical and musical plots always seem a bit cliched, but just that she pops up every where...>< You could also see the Toby slitting his throat thing was going to happen to.

I am so psyched for this movie! My friends dragged me into the cosplay realm, so now we're going to the midnight showing in our get-up. I'm putting my costume together early and getting even more excited as I do. I know that that's incredibly silly, but it's a Tim Burton film based on the trippiest, child acceptable book ever written.

Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter is my current wallpaper! Oh, Stephen Fry is voicing the cheshire cat. I think i am the most excited out of my school, its just going to be so awesome seeing Tim Burton's portrayal of AIW.

Oh yeah, I heard about this movie last March.

I've always thought of Alice in Wonderland as a plotless acid trip which is only a one up of The Wizard of Oz. However Tim Burton is notorious for good movies, so I think I'll give it a chance.

I really want to watch it, and can't wait!
I've liked most of Tim Burton's films, except maybe The Corpse Bride.

(and Johnny Depp as the mad hatter will be awesome!)
