Okay, just thought I'd put my two cents into the conversation to clarify some things.
A few people in here have mentioned something similar to this- they'll like this because it might be in the same style as Nightmare before Christmas.
Here's the problem:
He didn't make that movie.
Nightmare was directed, and animated by Henry Selick. The same person that made Coraline, Monkeybone, and James and the Giant Peach.
Tim Burton only ever made a short story that sort of created characters for them to go on for Nightmare. He didn't write it, design it, direct it, animate it at all whatsoever. He only made the general idea and produced it which in this case is sort of studio talk for him giving it money and a name attached to it to promote it better.
It is not his style and he still always gets the damn credit for it.
This Alice shouldn't look like Nightmare, but probably will anyway
because he'll get more animators that will purposefully try to make
it look like Selick's designs and try to make it weird or surreal.
Sorry, I just think Henry Selick deserves far more credit than he is ever given.

Coraline is not a Tim Burton movie. This is what happens when you let everyone think that Nightmare Before Christmas is a Tim Burton movie.

Oh, wow someone already said it. That makes me glad.
Good to know that people are finally learning this or knew it already
and are spreading this information everywhere.

What do I think of this particular movie?
Not a big fan of Burton but he might do okay.
I won't watch it except to see Crispin Glover's performance 'cause he's awesome,
Johnny Douche will just piss me off because he'll do a horrible Hatter.
