I forgot the name of my first crush because I was traumatized. XD Anyway, I think it started when I was in 5th grade. He was seated beside me, so we became close. He had been my crush for around 2 years until I decided to stop it because I know that he wouldn't return my feelings back.

Ah, the good ol' days.. XD

Oh, I just remembered why I had a crush on him for a long time. I thought before that he also had feelings for me because he was all sweet to me and his best friend told me so. XD

*pokes self* XDDDDD

Thank you Tori, but I think the reason that they liked me is because I don't care about looks. My husband is probably the least attractive guy I ever dated. Everyone says he looks like Matthew McConaughey, but I don't really see it. *Shrugs*

Obscure Holidays? *thinks of one* We have so many holidays and fiestas here in our country. XD

Well, we celebrate some fiestas, especially in my mom's hometown. They have this big procession with all these women wearing gowns and their escorts. They also have this big feast where everyone can eat all they want for FREE. And the food are yummy! XD

They also have these games which are fun to watch. One example is the "Palo Sebo" in which a boy must climb up a bamboo with grease to get the flag. Another one is the "Palayok". It is like a pinata but the one that you are going to smash is a clay pot. XD

Maybe it is because of the lack of online people. XD

o_o I've forgotten about this thread during finals period. D:

Obscure holidays...Since I'm in America...and not in a very multicultural/racial area...the holidays I celebrate definitely aren't mainstream. xD They're all Asian. From the Lunar New Year to the official Korean holidays, most people just have question marks for responses when I mention them. xD There's one holiday I observe for my religion. That's always been a touchy subject that I've hidden so I'm not used to talking about it. =_=; *hides*

Mm, for the New Year, we'll always clean before the day. Because it's supposedly bad luck to clean ON New Year's Day. Sweep away the luck, they say. xD So that's a part of the ritual along with the red envelope gifts for children and lots of good food. If I'm in Hawaii, we'll pop firecrackers to "ward away evil spirits." We just do it because they're shiny. *hides* There are some new year foods that my family actually refuses to make...because if you make it wrong...bad luck. xD Loooots of ways to get bad luck. 8D *finds it humorous*

hmm no I don't really celebrate many holidays at all actually! ^^; Christmas, Birthdays (I know not really holidays...but ya), sometimes Easter and Thanksgiving.
My family uses memorial day as an excuse to go camping and get wasted but other then that not really much ^^;
seems like a fun thread thou :D
