Any ones you'd reccomend for someone who hasn't watched anime before?

Oh that's cool. Part of me wishes that I'd taken a break before college, but I was worried it would be hard to go after getting used to working full time.

Well if you like comedy, I'd recommend Fullmetal Panic. It's hilarious. If you don't like comedy that much though...I'm not sure. Maybe elmo will have some suggestions.

Bleach and Death Note are good too!
But Bleach is mainly fighting butts pretty funny too
And Death Note is bout some guy who kills criminals in a odd way and gets caught by a guy called "L"

Its a kind of complicated story line about this girl who keeps dying and she tries to find out why.
Everytimes she dies she goes into a new world with the same people but everytime is different in a way
Its about her fighting against fate...

What's Inuyasha about? I've heard a lot of people recommend it, but I've never seen it or heard what it's about.

I had a friend who liked it...the same one who got me to watch some Cowboy Bebop(which was hilarious, have you seen the episode with mushrooms? It kills me).

Nice! Inuyasha is about a half demon prince who is on a quest with a friend, Kagome and a few other people to find shards of the Shikon Jewel. Kagome is a girl in Modern Tokyo (i think) and theres this well near her place and whenever she goes down there, she goes back to ancient Japan. She is a reincarnation of a girl who put Inuyasha to sleep but Kagome awakened him and set him free because this demon who also wanted the Shikon Jewel was chasing after her and Inuyahsa was the only person who could save her. And he did and the Jewel shattered so then Kagome and Inuyasha a few of their friends kill demons and monsters to try to gather all the shards.
I haven't watched it in a while so I'm not quite sure if that's all right...

Also if you like Vampires, read Vampire Knight. Its a manga and now they're turning it into a anime but its REALLY good.

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni is also pretty good! There is also a sequel Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai.
I accidentally watched the sequel first. -.- My friends told me about it but he told me the wrong one so it was confusing when I first watched it!
But now I'm gonna watch the first one! Damn you Aaron!!!

He also told me about another one called Hikaru no Go about some board game..
I don't really find that stuff interesting so I didn't watch it...

BTW, go to www.crunchyroll.com It's good for anime and dramas! But I think they're all Japanese. They have subtitles though!
