Bio: Key was abandoned as a baby by her foster parents: her own parents were killed in an accident. She was eventually found by a rich farmer, whose wife was unable to have children of her own. They raised her until about three months after she turned eight. There was a raid, and the farmer's wife was killed. The farmer sent Key to his brother's house while he (the farmer) went to avenge his wife.

On the way to the farmer's brother, Key was attacked by a group of men who called themselves the 'Arch'. Unable to fight off all five of them, she submitted and went with them to their lair. When they arived, Key was locked up in a small room just off the cellar.

After an hour or so, someone came and took her to another room. What happened there she does not remember anymore, just that when she woke up, she had wings, her ears were elongated, and all her body was glowing a pale silver. There were ten men standing around her. Key lost control of her body and slew them all.

When she got control back, she was in a field in a country far away from her own. The glow that had surrounded her body was faded, so that you could not tell it was there unless you were trying to see it. The wings, however, remained where they were, plainly visable to all.

Kiriya rubbed her eyes and looked around. "What the?" She was in what appeared to be a field next to a quaint little town. Picking up her staff, she headed towards a sign by the town gates. "Me..new..sha.." She slowly enunciated each syllable, wondering if she had pronounced it right. Peering in, she watched the townsfolk as they went along their daily lives. 'Interesting' she thought. In all the villages and towns shes been to, she had never seen a community that worked together as well as this 'menewsha' place. Stepping through the gates, she continued wandering through the streets, watching the people, even browsing through some of the shops.

Alexis walked around, her lght brown hair danced in the breeze. She saw a girl standing there hopelessly. "Excuse me, are you lost?" She asked kindly.

Lilah was preoccupied with the fact that it was sunny out at the present moment and didn't exactly notice the two girls that were conversing at the present moment. She was in a small bakery at the present time working for her wages. She helped each customer with her traditional, and well known smile, before handing them there goods and going onto the next person.

Kiriya whipped around to see the owner of that voice. "I think I am" Kiri gave a slight chuckle and smiled sheepishly "Then again, I'm always lost." Another nervous chuckle.

Key landed lightly on the grass of an island. She looked around, and noticed a city nearby. She say a couple of people over by the gates. Folding her wings up as small as she could, she walked towards them.

"Where am I?" she asked, hoping the people were native to the island, or at least knew about the island.

Alexis smiled, "Well then, would you like to come to my charity, Clover wishes?"

Lilah had so happened to look out the window when a strange figure came down from the sky. After closing the shop for a bit she ran out to see exactly what it was. When she got a ways away she was shocked to see that it was a human. She then noticed that it had approached two girls that were speaking. "Hello," she said from a ways away.

Key heard someone calling out, and turned to see. She saw a girl, and she seemed to be calling out to Key.

"Oh, hello!" said Key.

"Could you tell me where I am? By the way, I'm Key."

"You're in Menewsha," Lilah said with a slight bow. "I work at that bakery over there and we give a welcome gift to all the new people that we see come into Menewsha."

She was happy to see someone that was new since it seemed rare to have someone new come by. She could see the sign switch back to open as the owner of the store came back out to the front.

"Thanks you!" said Key. not that this was going to tell her how to get to a mainland.... But maybe she could stay here?

"Menewsha.. What does it mean?" she asked, puzzled.

"I think she should come to my charity first, she needs new clothes, food, drink." Alexis said, Pulling Key away, "Menewsha is the name of this island."

Lilah crossed her arms slightly. Everyone was going to the charity first recently so then they weren't getting the welcome basket. The rule there was that if the owner hadn't seen the person more than twice then they'd get a basket.

"But the owner of the bakery has a rule for who gets the welcome basket, you can all come," she said with a slightly pleading look."

"Um..." said Key, confused.

"I just suddenly thought, you know, I don't know either of your names!" Key said desperatly. Getting into/starting/being the cause of a fight was not one of the thing on the top of her 'do when I get to a new place' list.

"Err...Alexis. now come on! We have a welcome party for newbies today! Everyweek!" She said brightly.

"Compromise," Lilah said. "We stop by the bakery and get her a welcome gift and then go to the welcome party. OH and my name is Delilah but most people just call me Lilah."

She had shifted to standing up more straight now so that she seemed more professional.

"I'm Key. Nice to meet y'all," said Key.

"Alright," she said, turning to Lilah, "That sounds okay to me." she was glad they'd worked it out. She didn't know what she would have done if they'd gotten into an all-out fight. Maybe jump in-between them, flap her wings violently, and then fall down as if in a fit. And hope it worked. And then again, she might just stand along the sidelines and hope nobody got hurt.
