Do what I do. If it's near someone's signature, hover over it.
If at the bottom of the screen, it says a url, then it's not a real orchid.
But if "You found an orchid!!" pops up in a little box by your cursor, then it's real.

I think I'm going to turn off signatures too... I'm finding them more of a hindrance because of the random appearance of the flowers d;

hello ^^ I've already disabled signatures, got really irritating seeing them in people sigs. I only have 7 buds right now, but I've spent like 10+.

Just go to my account, and on the controls on the side, under the header "Settings and Options," click on Edit options, then scroll down to the box titled Thread Display Options, and just uncheck the box next to show signatures. ^^

@Princess: Aw really?! That sucks a lot... Usually they are still there after you go back. Don't worry too much, you have looots of time to find more.
You can turn off signatures under the 'My Account' button. Go to Setting and Options then Edit Options.
